My guess is the majority of the people that watch shows like AYTO and not The Challenge don't care about competition

Watch if this actually happens and the episodes actually get ratings that are better than recent seasons, we could end up with a renewed challenge featuring more people from random MTV shows than from Real World/Fresh Meat/Road Rules. Blahh, I hate the idea, but that's just me. Better change the name to the MTV Challenge then. On another note, I am fb friend requesting these AYTO castmembers in question.

Yes they will because this is a slap in the face to loyal fans, lets cut Darrell & Rachel, two people that almost every challenge fan knows about for two losers on some show that so many challenge fans have never seen.

Regardless of whether or not 4 people from AYTO are on The Challenge, Battle of the Exes 2 will get ratings with the theme alone and this cast is not that bad even without the AYTO people. I mean they got CT & Diem again! BMP/MTV they comin for wigs next year! Good for them :applause:

But people who don't go on this thread would of never known that Rachel & Darrell got cut. And if fans get upset then it's ridiculous because MTV wants the challenge to succeed and this could be the method to get those ratings. And I feel like a lot of people would prefer to see new faces rather than the same ones each season. And it's either this or another fresh meat because a lot of real world people are declining to be on and that can't happen for the show to survive.

Bringing old cast members back isn't going to boost ratings. They had their time and it's over. We can't expect all the vets to come back cause the ugly truth is we might never see Darrell & Rachel again.

Who's fault is it that we may never see them again? The same people that might be casting losers from a dating show.
I'm not the only one that will be done with the show if this happens. The new viewers don't stick...that's been proven. Now they're driving away loyal viewers for 4 people that can't keep new viewers once they leave--likely early
