I'm not much of an Emilee fan anymore. She always tries to preach about being "mature" and is the first one to get on somebody when they do something she doesn't like, and yet she does stupid crap like this time and time again. She seems like a spoiled little baby.
Emilee comes off to me as very bitter. I don't know the girl in real life, and, yes, she can say she's a victim of editing on RWCancun, a victim of editing on the reunion show, even, but she can't blame editors for how she comes off on Twitter. The stuff she said last night was in VERY poor taste, I don't care how "tired" she claims she was. Normally she just comes across like a little snob, but last night she really pissed me off.
Her standard comeback on Twitter to anything negative is something along the lines of "Yet you're still following me, loser." Of course we're following her. She's more interesting on Twitter than she was on the Real World show. Let's face it, drama is what it's all about. I don't want to follow boring people.
I have a pretty strong feeling that she'll be on any Challenge she can get on. The girl wants airtime. She didn't change her Twitter name from Emileelovesyou (or whatever) to Emileeonmtv for nothing.
i don't think it was very mature of her but i don't see the big deal either. Did anyone else catch the comment Chet made about her during the challenge? When they tried to lift her up he said something like one guy can't lift her it would take like 6.
maybe Emilee is saying that she shouldn't be there because she is not that athletic of a person.
That wasn't the vibe I got. If so, she could have been more tactful than "what's w/ the "fat casting" if i knew to win a challenge all i had to was eat twinkies & get a rack..."
Meow.
This is particularly hypocritical since Emily was so upset with Kate commenting on the Cancun cast and the quality of their season here on Vevmo.
Shauvon hasn't done anything many of the other RW/RR/FM cast has done. Get an overinflated pair of stripper *****, or fool around with a fellow cast mate or two and gain a few pounds since their season. Big Whoop.
For me, Emily's tweets shine the worst light on herself. I'm not Shauvon's biggest fan, but I think everything about her screams a girl who's trying to be liked (for all the wrong reasons) and this is nothing short of public humiliation.
Cancun was lack luster. I watched 3 episodes and decided it wasn't worth my memory space on Tivo. More space for Fraiser re-runs, hell, Golden Girls.... anything less mind numbingly stereotypical. How you feel about a show isn't saying to the people on it: "Hey, die in a fire." People are usually different in person. MTV is very selective on depth. Speaking of the lack in depth.... its childish the whole twitter war. Emilee should know better! It's cruel, really. Everyone knows only other fat girls can talk smack about other fat girls. This isn't middle school, be creative with your diss. Jeez.
Emilee craves the spotlight. I feel she is making all these comments, so the producers can see and put her on a show. I am not her friend on any of the networks, so I don't follow her. But after reading that tweet it annoyed me. I just think she needs to be a little more tasteful and mature about things.
She was on a reality show, not an epic movie- and she's acting like she is famous now. She might be a very sweet girl, but she needs to get over herself.
This calls for future challenge casting that involves Emilee and Shauvon! :) did someone say Drama.
That would mean I'd have to see both of them on my television again...no, thank you.
I also thought maybe she wanted to be on a challenge. And also, now the spotlight is transferred from Cancun to The Ruins, which a lot of people are really hyped to watch. It must feel a little weird for your show to just be over and have another one take over so quickly.
I heard somewhere that Emilee wanted to do a challenge, but that was before MTV/BMP pissed her off... so who knows?
Maybe she'll come on here and post and let us know!
I would love to see if Emilee would talk like this to all the girls if she was on a challenge...
I highly doubt that. She would get ******* blasted.
I highly doubt that. She would get ******* blasted.
Haha definitely. That's why she'd need to be friendly to those people.

That might be true. Maybe some of the Cancun people are so used to being in the spotlight they are annoyed that the Ruins people are taking over big time and being even more entertaining. I seem to remember Emilee being really upset with MTV/BMP for not giving her more of a storyline. I still have a feeling she will show up on a challenge though despite what she says. She threatened to not go to the reunion and she showed up and took it over.
It makes her look so hypocritcal when she was blasting Katelyn on here for judging her and her cast without knowing them.
On a related note, it seems a lot of these reality people do have egos and get annoyed when others receive attention. For instance, I think that's why the Fresh Meat people are the way they are on the challenges because they were Real World rejects.
And I notice that's why whenever a new RW season comes on the challenges, that's why the other veterans are so desperate to get them off. Not only because they don't know them, but I think it's a bit of jealousy too. Like they were so jealous of the Austin cast coming on Fresh Meat because of all the attention their season had just gotten.
Haha definitely. That's why she'd need to be friendly to those people.
The sad thing is, I liked her on the show. Although she seemed a little obnoxious at times she came off as sincere and trying to help her roommates. Its her little snide comments outside of the show that make her look childish. Oddly enough, that is same exactly way I felt about Katelynn from Brooklyn.
Anyone that is sitting here trying to justify her comments is ridiculous. Especially after seeing the ones that were deleted. I don't give a **** if she's the one from Cancun that posts on vevmo the most, I'm not sucking up. There are no words for that girl anymore. Shauvon wasn't the only one she was talking about.

I don't think the vets on FM were jealous of the Austin cast. I think they just had done so many challenges together and decided to work together for the first few voting rounds. A lot of them were friends with each other, and people like to keep friends around. They also strategically wanted to break up the Austin group so they couldn't control anything. Also, the Austin people came in and acted like their typical Austin selves - acted like jerks towards people and annoyed people. Danny and Wes kicking fresh meat cast members out of their own room because they wanted to be able to sleep with their girlfriends. Melinda and Johanna made snotty remarks to Tonya about not trying to steal their men. Danny just being super uptight in general and worrying about someone getting close to Melinda. Stuff like that. So vets AND some of the fresh meat people were not cool with them.
I don't think the challenge casts in general are jealous of the new people on the shows. I think they just don't know them as well or know what they can do competitively wise, and it makes it easy to get rid of them. Though a few vets think of it as an initiation thing (i.e. Tina - she outright said that).

She posts the most here? I still hope we can voice our opinions on her because seriously she is always talking about people growing and needing to grow up yet she can be quite immature and cruel from stuff I've seen her say and do.
I know they are cool now, but I seem to remember on one of the dailies Bronne said that everyone in the house thinks Ayiia is the biggest b-word, but that he really thinks it is Emilee who is truly the biggest b. I can see now why he said her because she can be pretty mean and then the second anyone does anything she overreacts and is supersensitive.

I liked her on her season too. It was during the reunion, I think, when I began to see a side of her I didn't really care for. Those comments she made were totally out of line, regardless of whatever BS justifications anyone can come up with.

I believe all that too, it makes sense to keep people you know and can have an alliance with, and it is a tradition. But I still think aside from that, there tends to be a little bit of jealousy too over the new kids who just got all this attention off the latest real world coming in here. I think a lot of the fresh meat kids too were bitter because they were rejected from those seasons. ha ha. And also you have to remember a lot of these reality people really compete for attention because they want to get appearances and money.

What does she have to be pissed off about? She came across as the most sane girl on the show. Whatever though, now that the third worst season of the real world is over, cancun will be forgotten.

I'll drink to that!! ;)
I'll drink to that!! ;)
lol. You guys thought it was that bad? Every single episode was entertaining and dramatic. Especially anything Ayiia and/or Joey related. Even if the people weren't the most likable. For me Cancun and Hollywood were the best RW seasons since San Diego. Everything else since San Diego (especially Sydney!) sucked.
From what I've seen (about two and a half episodes and a few daily clips) and heard (through following episode threads), I would personally have to put Cancun in the least favorite season pile as well.

I agree. The best recent seasons were Hollywood and Brooklyn. I stopped watching Cancun about halfway through.

Me too. I think the only episode I watched all the way through was the one where Bronne was put out of the hotel. I saw the reunion, only because I wasn't sure what time the Ruins started and tuned into MTV an hour early lol.
I still have a feeling she will show up on a challenge though despite what she says. She threatened to not go to the reunion and she showed up and took it over.
I think so too. From what I've seen, Emilee strikes me as the type of girl who will go storming out of a room, then hang around the other side of the door long enough so people can catch up to her and beg her to come back. Yeah, kinda like on the reunion, not even 10 minutes in.

I don't think it's so much jealousy, as it is a reality check. The veterans have been there and probably realize by now (one would hope, anyway) that a reality tv "star" is not on par with a Hollywood star. They aren't household names. Ask Brad Pitt who Emilee Fitzpatrick is, and I'm *pretty sure* he'll have no clue. Okay, granted, even for the veterans, there are many who haven't quite gotten that concept, and probably never will. Still, it is a matter of being a big fish in a small pond, and once they're thrown together with seasoned "big fish", that pond is gonna get much smaller. Nobody is going to let some wet-behind-the-ears n00b march in and take over.
I think another part of it is akin to being the freshman class at highschool or college. THEY think they're bigshots, but the upper classmen are gonna be real quick to put them in their place.
