Who I love to hate: PAULA: the only reason you got to the finals is because of Evelyn, I think [strike]your[/strike] you're a joke, every challenge is about you & it's too much! Don't come back Challenge Hog. Camila & Theresa didn't need to be sent into the jungle Fool! Why are you too BOSSY! TY: once again you became a huge disapointment to the rookie challengers. Even Brandon did better than you in that Jungle! MANDI: If I were Diem I would be angry on how you acted toward CT, not because of the past relationship, it's just that you're fake, two faced & full of yourself TYLER: as much as you proved yourself on Cutthroat, I still don't like how mean you were to Svetlana on Key West. Also, you acted like a fool in the recent episode. KATELYNN: I think your story of being a transsexual on brooklyn was an excuse, trying to be a puzzle expert made you look you stupid! Weakest link on Rivals. JOHNNY: once again, you're the ******* of the game, suing a great show like Entourage makes you so pathetic, you did it so you can get tv time LAME! JENN: I'm really honestly disappointed in you. I like you a lot, but what you did to Cara Maria was *****y evil, I don't respect it at all! WES: If I were you, I would make the mob's game horrible after the Ruins crap, even though you can't stand CT, though I'm glad Laurel put you in your place! Who I Love so Much CT: you are who you are all the time. That's what I like about the realest Bad *** CT, one the best competitors ever to hit the Show. CARA MARIA: I have always liked you, the red Hair made you look fierce & HOT! Cara Maria & Abram forever & you don't deserve to get picked on! LEROY: though you're new to the game, you're the bomb. Adam R should have never acted like an ******. Good thing you had Mike, your bff. There was no need to get called out by Tyler. Hope you do more challenges. JASMINE: you've got some feisty bad *** in you, glad you sent home a challenger who thinks that she's too good of a competitor (Sarah). I want to see more from Jasmine.

I figured since a lot of this forum leads into debate about who is the best and such, why not have a thread where people made a list and explain why they think each challenger is where they are? Anyway Here’s my top 10 for each sex. Males: 1. Landon (RW Philadelphia): A cast member of one of the RWS i missed, yet he quickly grew on me. This guy come to the challenge, competes, never goes ballistic, or even gets mad (probably why he has only been called 4 times),wins....and the kicker he believes in fair play....a rarity in the game today. Athletically this guy is dominant, versatile,a dn his 3/4 challenge wins speak for themselves. hes pocketed over 180 k in these shows, and deservidly so, the man is a beast. 2. Alton (RW Las Vegas): It is a shame they don't bring him back(or he doesn't come back), he was a delight, dominant, yet friendly and actually risked himself to save a teammate (Davis), and also gave Adam King a better shot, when he could of picked a physical game and ensured the win(he still smoked him, but the gesture was nice lol). Great guy, glad he won the Gauntlet 2. 3. Darrell (RR Campus Crawl): Only man with 4 wins, only lost one elimination. ALway comes and kicks ***, also very funny in small spurts. Seems like a stand-up guy, who understands the game. 4. Mark (RR The First Adventure): The godfather, this guyis a physical freak of nature. ALso very even keel and well respected. He never has put in a bad performance. Nearly made it to every final challenge, but he stepped aside and let Eric from New York get a shot at the win. So good at the game he never even played an elimination. But regardless you could tell the guy knows the game. 5. C.T (RW Paris): Simply put this guy is likely the best athlete to ever grace the show. He not only is athletic like Landon and Alton, but he has amazing size to go with it. He isn't the best simply because mentally, he just can't seem to pull it all together to get the win. Something is blocking him, either way his physical presence make him a threat, and one of the best to grace the challenge. Also as a guy, I think he is a lot more fun, then recent perception, he seems very real... he does have a temper though. 6. Theo (RR Maximum Velocity): This old school competitor, was a great mix of great physical competitor, great social player, and a funny as hell guy. He made the finals 3 times and won 2, in four trips thats very good. Underated IMO. 7. Kenny (Fresh Meat): Along with Darrel, the second member of the $200,000 k club. This guy knows how to win, plain and simple , 3 wins and 7 finals (potential for a fourth win). The man is 5-1 when facing elimination, only losing to a puzzle. Physically above average, socially one of the best, and a solid teammate in a final, Mr. Beutiful is one of the best. (Also entertainment wise, he provides the best soundbytes. 8. Abe (RR South Pacific): One crazy guy, and a hell of a competitor. He’s pretty out there, and has shown violent flashes, however he always brings it. Really good at the game, however his wildness is why I didn’t put him higher. Two wins and another two finals, practically carried the Grey team on Cutthroat, there is no denial he is one of the best. 9. Evan (Fresh Meat): The best manipulator ever, he simply dominates all social aspects of the game. A very real thinker, and highly successful. His only pre-final losses were to C.T, and an injury during Fresh Meat. Competitively he brings, it, is usually the leader of everything. Physically a force. 10. Brad (San Diego): Always makes it far in every challenge. I was wondering who to put here, Brad or Wes, but I decided on Brad, because he is more consistent. Brad never ****s the bed on a mission. Usually one of the better guys, knows how to lay row. Some flaws are, he can’t seem to take a leadership reign , even in games where he should (like Ruins, and Cutthroat),and physically he is good, but there are better competitors. A neat feather in his cap, he is the only one to eliminate C.T and Landon. Girls: 1. Evelyn (Fresh Meat) : The best female athlete to play these shows, plain and simple. The only flaw in her game is socially she usually ends up in bad situations and aligns with the wrong people. But not much else to say, best female. 2. Rachel (Campus Crawl) :A great athlete, she plays the game fiercely. She also plays a good social game, being part of the “Mean Girls” as well as aligning herself with the Mark-Brad and Evan alliance on Duel 2. One on one she is a great female athlete(though she’s never been in a elimination (I don’t count face offs) ). Not much else to say, wish she came on more shows. 3. Laurel (Fresh Meat 2): A new upcoming beast. In just 3 challenges , shes been to the finals 3 times (maybe even a win), has gone 4-0 in eliminations. She is a huge agitator, and gets under many peoples skins, stirs the pot, and just kicks ***…great for reality t.v..wish she was on the Real World…(seriously she couldn’t of been on Brooklyn over someone like Baia, that girl didn’t talk, Laurel would of spiced up that season) 4. Tori (RR Viewers' Revenge): One of the last Road rulers. A great female athlete. Socially plays well. Won 2 out of 3 challenges. A flaw of hers is simple, she mentally hates the game, and is always at a breaking point. She also is at times catty and doesn’t get along with many other girls. She seemed to lack heart against Anessa. Brad is one of her best assets, however being together at times distracted both of them from the game, when they would argue. Athletically though one of the best. Plus shes stunningly beautiful (irrelevant to her being a competitor, but still WOWZA) 5. Jodi (RR Extreme): Great athlete , won 2 out of the three challenge she participated on including the duel 1. Has won the most money of any female. Seems to have disappeared from reality t.v, which is unfortunate. 6. Veronica (Semester At Sea): The most winningest girl (3 wins), plays a great social game. Her results can not be denied. As a competitor, she seems average, but has flashed moments of brilliance (like the clutchest of clutch life savers on Gauntlet 1) A true old school cat. 7. Ruthie (RW Hawaii): A great athlete, she does really well in missions. Despite her small stature she pulls out many wins. Hasn’t won or received money, but in her shining challenge BOTS she outperformed MANY men of a regular basis, which is impressive. Socially she doesn’t align well. 8. Susie (RR Down Under): A very sneaky competitor imo. She is nondescript at time, but still makes it to the end every time. She is a better athlete then appearances would suggest. She also is undefeated in eliminations (Jenn, Brianna, Kimberly, Casey). As a side note she won the spring break challenge. Has made over 100k in these challenges 9. Paula (RW Key West): Hear me out. Sure she is a head case, and breaks down, mediocre at eliminations. However I would say at challenges she is well above average in the girl field. Also as a runner and final participant. Her cardio would serve her well in a final. Socially is an amazing player, (probably learned it from JEK). The obvious flaws are her 0-3 in previous finals (maybe shell win Rivals?), and her mental breakdowns. But I would take her over the lions share of female competitors. 10. Jenn (RW Denver): Perfect reality t.v personality. A 12/10, feisty, not afraid to hook up with a WIDE range of people (from women to young guys to Adam King), and good at the games. Socially she has aligned herself very well, her best aspect of the game. Though in the challenges she does pretty well. Elimination wise her record isa solid 6-2. Been to 4 finals (maybe a win). A huge flaw is her height, which comes as a detriment in many missions. As well in finals she has no gas, long distance seems to be a huge crack in her armor. I hope she does well in this final, she has said she is retiring from challenges () , so I hope it’s a positive end.
Who I love to hate: JOHNNY: once again, you're the ******* of the game, suing a great show like Entourage makes you so pathetic, you did it so you can get tv time LAME!
Who gives a crud if the show is great? If they took his identity and used it without asking him, its still wrong. DOes this mean that Big richs shows, like Two and Half Men and CSI can just do what they want because they are great shows?
RWRRULES, I like your list a lot because you're taking more than straight athleticism into the game. The only change I would make (and it's VERY debatable) is that I would take Brad off of 10 and put Johnny in. They both have knocks against them...Johnny's elimination record (1-3) isn't so hot and he's had some embarrassing loses, but at the same time none of Brad's wins have been particularly impressive and the two "big" ones were the result of some shady calls. I also don't find Brad's social game impressive, where I've heard a number of cast members say that Johnny is one of the best players in the game in terms of strategizing. It's not really a big deal, and I think you can make arguments for both of them...I'm also a fan of Johnny's and don't really like Brad so I'm biased.
I'd say for the best Challengers: Guys: 1. Landon- He has won 3/4 of his challenges, won 4 lifeshields on the Inferno 2 and has always performed well. 2. Mark- He has always made it to the end and the one time he didn't, it was so that Eric Nies could make it and "[Mark] already won one Battle of the Sexes". Very honest and I think he plays the game for the pride even more than the money. 3. Alton- Athletically superior to 99% of anyone on this show. Is 5-0 in eliminations and is a freak of nature. He has also always made it to the end. 4. CT- Even though he has never won a challenge, he has always come very close, he should've made it to the finals in the first duel. Very athletic and a threat to any other competitor. 5. Mike "Miz"- Always done well in competitions. He is the only competitor to beat Abram in an elimination. He has made it to the end 4/5 times and won twice. He is, imo, the most notable player in challenge history. 6. Darrell- He is a very consistent player. He won his first 4 challenges and would've won 5 if it wasn't for him getting in a fight. Stays out of the drama and tries to play his own game. 7. Abram- has a lot of will power. He has made it to 4 finals and won twice. He beat Brad in an elimination. Also is very entertaining. 8. Dan Setzler- Has always outperformed in challenges. Not the biggest, but he has a lot of heart. Also, he has always been to the end, and even though he was only on 3 challenges, he has really proven to a great competitor. 9. Derrick- A great challenger. Even though he is considerably smaller than a lot of other players, he has more heart. He beat Syrus, Brad, Ace, and Adam L in elimations. 10. Brad- Has been screwed or come so close on so many challenges. Got screwed over on BOTS2, barely lost against Abe in the Inferno, came in 2nd in the Duel, lost because of Big Easy in the guantlet 3, lost by 2 seconds in the Duel 2, and then he finally won on Cutthroat. He is a great competitor and has never performed poorly in anything. Honorable mentions: Kenny, Evan, Wes, Shane, Eric Nies, Adam larson, Timmy, and theo. I was gonna do girls, but then I realized how much time the guys list took.
I know everyone talks about the best competitor and stuff, but is that really why you watch the show? As road rules got more and more athletical the ratings went down, and I see history repeating its self with The Challenges. I think instead of a Duel III, I think the next format should have some Japanese game show type twist to it.
I dunno if this has been mentioned before, but on Ustream Evelyn mentioned that they called her to be on the Real World Denver after she had been eliminated on Fresh Meat and Cara Maria was offered to be on New Orleans after she was kicked off.
I think instead of a Duel III, I think the next format should have some Japanese game show type twist to it.
That would be AWESOME!!!!! I really miss when the challenges were gross and funny. I remember when they had to dress in chicken suits and transfer mashed worms with their mouth or when each team had to melt huge blocks of ice. I think they should revamp some of those and bring them back.
Evelyn mentioned that they called her to be on the Real World Denver after she had been eliminated on Fresh Meat and Cara Maria was offered to be on New Orleans after she was kicked off.
Really? That's interesting.. Evelyn might have been cast with Brooke :O and I would've loved to see Cara Maria instead of Sahar

I think I remember her saying that Jenn, Alex, Colie, and Davis were set in stone at the point of them asking her to be in the cast. I think in hindsight having Brooke in the cast was a great choice, obviously. Now having Evelyn there instead of Stephen would have been fabulous.
How many castmembers of Challenges actually watch them when they are aired on TV? Obviously I know the ones who makes blogs about them watch them, but I've read of several castmembers who don't even watch challenges that they've been filmed on.

Those are the only ones that I heard or read that they don't watch them. Kenny said he doesn't watch them all the time. I'm sure there are a lot more but these are the only ones I know about.
I would love a spinoff of the challenges where they would take 7 or 8 RW/Challenge alumni and put them in a house together for a couple months. I think that would be really cool... season one could be CT, Pete, Theo V., Ty, Trishelle, Coral, Svetlana, Cara Maria..

I completely understand that, kinda lame watching yourself on tv all alone :p And it can't be fun to see what people say behind your backs in the interviews, I guess some people would want to know and others don't want to know at all. Can anyone tell me if tonights episode is the season finale or is there 1 more ep after this? By season finale I mean the one with the final and final results, not the STSHS or the reunion.
I think the final challenge is a two episodes so there should still be 1 episode after tonight's. 3 if you count the reunion and STSHS.
How come it's just JEK when speaking of the main alliance when really, it's JEKD (D being Derrick)? I do see D being put in there but only on the Ruins. The alliance is JEKD but sometimes a couple of them are missing.
How come it's just JEK when speaking of the main alliance when really, it's JEKD (D being Derrick)? I do see D being put in there but only on the Ruins. The alliance is JEKD but sometimes a couple of them are missing.
Well JEK is a vevmo term anyways, it's not like Johnny, Evan, and Kenny sat around bouncing off names for their alliance. I think a lot of vevmo users just see Derrick as part of the beloved old guard of Road Rulers and don't want to admit all his wins have been with Fresh Meat and an ornery Key Wester for a reason. Kenny did address it once (I think on the podcast with either Evan or CT) and stated something along the lines of 'Derrick likes to pretend he's not part of our alliance.'
I ranked the eight eliminations rounds from this season from best to worst: 1. CT/Adam vs Johnny/Tyler: the jungle was great, but it was sad to see Ct get eliminated. 2. Jonna/Jasmine vs Sarah/Katelynn: the jungle was pretty entertaining and I loved the outcome of it, the rookies proved they weren't a weak team. 3. Brandon/Ty vs Wes/Kenny: the jungle was pretty entertaining, the rules were kind of unfair & the outcome was bad lol 4. Camila/Theresa vs Cara Maria/Laurel: it was entertaining, and i liked the outcome of it. 5. Davis/Tyrie vs Wes/Kenny: it was fun to watch. 6. Evan/Nehemiah vs CT/Adam: hilarious jungle, lol. Loved the outcome of it. 7. Paula/Ev vs Aneesa/Robin: the jungle was boring and the outcome was sour & sweet. 8. Jonna/Jasmine vs Cara Maria/Laurel: I like physical jungles, but in my opinion it was unfair since it's the only jungle that they repeated & the height difference was such a big impact. Everyone knew the outcome of it before they even went at it, lol.

Lol, I doubt they'd get enough cast members from these seasons even though I'd enjoy a challenge with nothing but newbies.
Yes please! Instead, make it season 20+, that would make more sense than 22. Enough with Wes, Johnny, Tyler, Paula, CT, Adam, Kenny, Evelyn... lets do something new!
Lol, I doubt they'd get enough cast members from these seasons even though I'd enjoy a challenge with nothing but newbies.
Isn't she banned from the Challenges in any case?
Isn't she banned from the Challenges in any case?
Yes, she is. But that doesn't mean she doesn't get tired of seeing the same people just as much as the rest of us.

You can bring back some of the old people, just not the same 5-10 men/women that always form the same alliance each time with each other. Example: If you have to bring back JEK, don't bring Paula and Jenn on the girls side. Make some new combination with some old challengers sprinkled in if you must bring old people back. Bring some Vets with no wins back if you are going to.
Yes, she is. But that doesn't mean she doesn't get tired of seeing the same people just as much as the rest of us.
She is not banned.
She is not banned.
So like was that overturned or was she just over-exaggerating never banned from the shows?
So like was that overturned or was she just over-exaggerating never banned from the shows?
That sentence does not make any sense, but I'll try to answer what I think is a question. So like I don't recall her ever specifically saying she was banned from challenges. The producer, Justin Booth (who is a douchebag and, as far as I know, no longer has the title of producer), told people not to give her information because she informed Derrick's wife (who is crazy), who was constantly harassing her with emails regarding his safety and well-being, that he was ok. She said she was done doing challenges and has no desire to do any more. She is not banned. That is my understanding of the situation.
That sentence does not make any sense, but I'll try to answer what I think is a question. So like I don't recall her ever specifically saying she was banned from challenges. The reason I believed she was banned was because of this sentence in her blog "Flash ahead 2 weeks. Vin comes home and tells me he’s not allowed to talk to me about the challenge because the head producer told him, ‘Emilee is never coming back, and if you tell her anything, neither will you.’" And I think Derrick discussed it with Jonna/Jasmine and it was said there that she was banned. But I guess it was just the producer saying that if she really isn't. Since we're on the topic though, is David Leech banned and if so, would Booth leaving possibly open the door for him to return?
