The Challenge: Rivals - Ty Ruff

He explains, "I have fully embraced my new astrological sign -- as an Aries -- and forged on to new, exciting endeavors in life." But Ty should be careful - while Aries men are described as adventurous and confident, they are also cursed as being impatient and quick-tempered. Never one to hold his tongue, this notorious Real World: D.C. hothead is known for pushing buttons and rubbing people the wrong way -- including his rival partner.
This is better than his Cutthroat pic, i wonder how he'll do on the challenges though. Can't be any worst than last season.

lol @ this season is gonna be entertaining with me. I wonder how many people he's gonna **** off.
Ty trolls people in real life - glad he's back for more antics.
Ty trolls people in real life - glad he's back for more antics.
lol Im actually really interested in seeing him and Brandon work together and see Brandon's face when he TJ says he's partnered with Ty haha. I wonder if Ty's arrogance and ego will match Wes'.
Ty's one confused (using that word loosely) and crazy dude. Glad he's back to stir the pot.

Thats what all genetics and no training gives you. lol

And as much as i love Wes, he hasn't been backing up much of his big talk since The Duel. Hopefully that'll change though.
One of the Challengers I'm least excited to see...
Did he and Brandon not get along or something? I know they had that weird Cutthroat battle together, but Ty wasn't mean during it. He just fell to the ground and was being weird during the whole thing. I don't think that makes them rivals.
They had an argument on Cutthroat which qualified them as a pairing.
I don't think this factored into pairing them but Brandon has been very public with his feelings towards Ty on twitter, facebook, and podcasts.
I don't think this factored into pairing them but Brandon has been very public with his feelings towards Ty on twitter, facebook, and podcasts.
Brandon understands the hype necessary in promoting the challenge. He's talked about it on his weekly show at Live at the Studio. He's also promoting Vegas Bash 2011, Sept 16-18, a reality "star" weekend in Las Vegas.
I don't think this factored into pairing them but Brandon has been very public with his feelings towards Ty on twitter, facebook, and podcasts.
I can say with 100% confidence that the scuffle from Cutthroat is the reason Brandon and Ty were paired for Rivals. Nothing more, nothing less.
Just saw this lol
Hahaha I love her.
Ty the beast! I can't wait.
I'm amused that he's consistently rocking the silver chain. It seems like my least favorite challengers love their gold and silver chain bling...
He disgusts me, everything about him. The way he reacts towards Emily, in particular, was completely creepy and scary. I would not want to be in the same room as him. He should really watch himself on TV some time, if he doesn't already, because he could really use some insight into how creepy he is.

I actually think they're one n the same lol

I'm just now noticing the tag that someone put for this thread: "Ladies - he's an aries". I can't help but to wonder what a rewarding experience it must be to date Ty.
Scary yes, but what did he do that was creepy?
Just the way he'd follow her around when drunk, and when she'd ask him to leave her alone, he wouldn't, he was like a stalker. Then he'd go into her room and she'd ask him to leave, repeatedly, and he'd just stay in there and continue to try to talk her into liking him again. It was just really scary and he seemed kind of obsessive. I guess that's what I mean by 'creepy,' he was obsessive and refused to leave her alone. I had a similar experience with a guy who I had a thing with for like, a month, and after that he acted exactly like Ty did, wouldn't leave me alone, wouldn't respect my space, would tell people we had *** even though I specifically asked him not to bring it up, etc. So I completely empathize with Emily. Those types of guys are scary and get angry when you reject them. It's pathetic.
It's funny you say this about him but seem perfectly ok with Adam R. I actually think they're one n the same lol
No, they're definitely not the same. I'm not "perfectly ok" with Adam, I never said Adam's a good guy but he and Ty have different personalities, IMO. Adam doesn't get aggressive like that when he's rejected. Adam doesn't threaten to hit females when he's angry with them. I think Adam is a sociopath and fame-junkie, but I think he's pretty confident and able to handle being rejected. When Nani told him, "I just wanna be friends," Adam seemed disappointed but he didn't get aggressive or angry with her, he gave her a hug goodbye and that was it. I think Ty is a loser with low self-esteem who gets angry and bitter when rejected and lashes out because his ego can't handle it. He threatens to hit females. He gets drunk and refuses to leave Emily's room when she asks him to a million times. He spitefully lets the whole world know they had *** when she asks him not to, etc. This guy is scary and delusional. Neither of them seem like ideal people to live with, but Ty is a lot scarier, IMO.
Ty =/= Tyrie.
My bad, I'll edit it.

Nany rejected Adam and he was crazy drunk screaming her name throughout the hotel suit and when she refused to talk to him and grabbed a hold of her and swung a few inches away from her face. Emily rejected Ty and he was crazy drunk following her around the house trying to talk to her. I think they both have low self-esteem, Adam mainly because he was pretty much a poser throughout the time he was there. Trying to look like the bad ***, even the cast members said this. And Ty because he seems to attach himself to women and get very clingy like he needs their affection. That's kinda ironic though lol

And neither is above getting physical with a girl. I guess Ty is more physically imposing because he is a lot more stacked than Adam, even though he has terribad endurance. Who knows though, maybe if Ty decides to like... eat a full breakfast, he could do some surprising things in a Challenge.
Does Ty only get like that when he drinks? He's scary when he drinks. I remember him tossing one of his rommates off a balcony on his season. I can't tell if he's an alcoholic or if he's just acting like this for tv. Could be both?
