Do we know how badly she lost? It seemed like they were close behind. If in fact they were close behind, she didn't "get her *** handed to her" or she didn't get whooped. It seemed closer to me than most think. And this is coming from someone who doesn't like Sarah.
Someone please enlighten me...why does Sarah have a rep for being good at puzzles? When on the Challenges has she wowed us with her puzzle-solving brilliance?
I absolutely don't know why, the only thing I know she is good at is swimming and water challenges. As for her smarts I've heard Vinny call her the smartest (although yes I realize this should be taken with a grain of salt as he was sleeping with her, or it seemed that way, and was her partner) but also Wes said this Jungle was made for her. I said somewhere all I can remember of her and puzzles is her incompletion of the puzzle Susie was able to finish in the final on the Ruins.

That's not why I said that, it's because she had the lead and for the rep she and Katelynn have as smart, intelligent competitors she should not have lost.

My comment wasn't directed at you. It was a general question.

My bad, didn't mean to sound defensive, but that is my answer regardless that she really hasn't proved anything from what I can remember in regards to puzzles. All I remember is that big failure lol, and last night's, of course.
Sarah : Exactly! Because I could definitely beat her
Jonna : You could beat me? At what?
Sarah : (stumbles over words) ...Some stuff. I think I could beat you at some stuff.
Jonna : *walks away*
Sarah : * " I shouldn't have said that" face *
One of my all time favorite challenge moments.
Ditto. Loved how Jonna responded and then ended up winning. My favorite moment of the season this far.

I've seen that puzzle a thousand times before, and the way her pegs were positioned when they showed her and Kate just standing there showed me that she had no idea how to solve it. She had already made some big mistakes.
In all fairness, two people solving a puzzle like that is MUCH worse than one person. When one person's doing the solving, it's all you. When two people are solving one puzzle, it's easy for confusion to ensue and for one person to do something without the other person saying whether they think they should or not.

Hmm maybe that's why Jonna and Jaz got the puzzle done faster. With the other team, it seemed like they both had colliding ideas about how to fix it whereas Jaz stood back until Jonna told her "grab this and put it there"
I think Sarah and Katelyn didn't know how to solve the puzzle.
When I saw what the puzzle was, I paused for a few seconds and then came up with a plan to move which piece in what order to solve the whole thing. I don't think Sarah and Katelyn had such a plan. They just kinda dove right in and started moving stuff around to see what worked. This is a good idea for some puzzles, but a bad idea when the pieces are half your size.
When Jonna got to the puzzle, she paused for a couple seconds and asked Jasmine what she thought. Then you could tell something clicked in her head and she started telling Jasmine what to do. Jonna had a plan. Sarah and Katelyn didn't.
Bottom line is, Sarah got beat fair and square. Jonna is better at puzzles (or at least, this puzzle) than Sarah. Jonna knew exactly what she was doing, whereas Sarah was just randomly moving **** around.
Well Sarah apologized on her twitter for her horrible cocky attitude. She seems like a sweet girl liked by everyone it's just she needs to learn not to say overconfident, cocky things like that to the camera before an elimination round because you look really stupid when the result doesn't justify the cockiness. When she was on Fresh Meat 2 she had that cocky attitude and immediately lost, and you would think she learned something. But it's kind of a pattern for her. Wasn't she cocky about finishing the final on Cutthroat and being hard on Cara Maria when she ended up not finishing herself. It's kind of her trademark now. Cockiness before fall. lol!

I think she's apoligized before though, and you just see the same thing over and over from her. I personally would take KellyAnne (Ruins), or Cara Maria (Cutthroat), or Jonna over her any day of the week. She just needs to stop being so cocky and I would like her!! lol
Seriously though, she was worried about Cara Maria, even though CM is obviously in much better shape! And she just forced everyone to root for Jonna by being so cocky once again. She's someone that you like to see lose simply because they are so sure they will win (like when she was being interviewed and was saying "If I win this Jungle...Excuse me...WHEN I win blah blah blah). You just can't help but root against her...
Really? Never?
On the Ruins I was sad to see her and especially KellyAnne lose. FM2 I was rooting for Ev more so I wanted her gone. Cutthroat and Rivals I've been glad to see her lose.
Really? Never?
Nope, I'm usually not that type of person but her personality just irks me to my core.
She's like a grandma lecturing everyone but at the same time being all cocky and putting down people who are inferior in her mind. It's too weird to explain.
I don't have an earthly clue why in her mind she' this incredible athlete. Did I miss something?
She overrates herself just like most others on this show but I still think she's a pretty well rounded competitor that has had a few strokes of bad luck. She reminds me a bit of Wes. Not as great as they talk themselves up to be but still pretty good overall with a few strong niches like in swimming.
She needs a bottle of those.
I really liked her during her season of Real World. Hope she gets a chance to redeem herself a bit in the future.
Sarah's great, she'll be back and she will redeem herself.
As of now, I could totally seeing her become a Challenge junkie that never wins like Paula or Robin, and seeing her not win would be funny with her lack of humility...
I don't see that at all. I see her winning one of these future challenges. Sarah has a ton of humility, but can be overconfident at times. She's still incredibly sweet and strong.
She's done horrible on FM2, Cutthroat, and Rivals. Seeing her being so cocky towards Jonna, then getting a Jungle that plays right into her "skill set", and then still getting her *** whooped by Jonna was the highlight of the season so far for me.
She did great on cutthroat until her body gave up on her in the final challenge. The Same happened to ABE. Just because Jonna beat her in a puzzle, doesn't mean she's better than Sarah as a competitor.
Someone please enlighten me...why does Sarah have a rep for being good at puzzles? When on the Challenges has she wowed us with her puzzle-solving brilliance?
Sarah has made a ton of cool games of many varieties including puzzles. She's also a hand writing analysis expert.
I've never been happier to see a person lose.
How cold and mean to be like that towards some one as sweet as Sarah.
Sarah never disappoints to bring me that same feeling every season.
Sarah is a great person all around.

Ok, but Abe doesn't go around yelling at people because they couldn't do something, or plot to send people home. He instead encourages people and pushes them to do their best.
Sarah lives in some kind of alternate universe where she's an amazing performer, who's never lost or made a mistake. Sarah falls out of the Kayak, and then is yelling at her partner about how the mighty Sarah is being held back by her partner's poor performance. I swear 3/4 of the people on these shows are delusional.

I'm guessing you missed Inferno 1 lol. The way he did Katie was worst than what Sarah was trying to do to Cara Maria imo.

The difference is that Cara Maria is a better competitor than Sarah, and Katie sucks on challenges
Abram was more upfront about it than Sarah. That could be a good or bad thing... depending on how you look at it. Sarah was being sneakier and more backstabbing - but also seemed to try to spare Cara Maria's feelings (Laurel was a different story, hence why they are partners on Rivals). Abram was more honest and upfront, but by being that way he seemed to be rubbing it in Katie's face.
In the end, both seem like nice people I could get along with, but either way you look at it, neither of them are saints on the challenge.
The difference is that Cara Maria is a better competitor than Sarah, and Katie sucks on challenges
Sarah is just as good a competitor as Cara Maria if not better. Not sure how you came to that conclusion.
Sarah is just as good a competitor as Cara Maria if not better. Not sure how you came to that conclusion.
Sarah only did [strike]good[/strike] well on The Ruins...Cara Maria did [strike]good[/strike] well on Cutthroat and is doing [strike]good[/strike] well on Rivals so Cara has proved herself more than Sarah.
Sarah is just as good a competitor as Cara Maria if not better. Not sure how you came to that conclusion.
Sarah has beaten Katie, Johanna. Lost to Kenny/Laurel and Jonna/Jasmine
Cara Maria has beaten Mandi and Camilla/Theresa. Lost to Jill/Pete.
Sarah only looks good because she beat two weaklings in the Ruins, she has lost all others.
Cara Maria carried Laurel in the Jungle against Camilla/Theresa.
