Leroy/Mike was a pretty good duo and Mike was a better partner then Adam R. Mike's smart and really good at puzzles. Adam is not strong and he's not smart. Leroy was the strength and Mike was the brains.
Leroy has great potential that is all. We are not saying he has proven anything. He has shown that his potential is high but we'll see if he fulfills it in the future.

Ok first off Mike's intelligence has always been overrated.
Also, just because Mike's smarter than the average RW: Vegas 2011 cast member doesn't mean he's good at puzzles. On an interview he even said something along the lines of "if them thinking I'm good at puzzles means we don't get thrown into the jungle, then hell yeah, i'm good at puzzles *wink*"
I agree that Mike was a good partner for Leroy, Leroy and Mike totally proved that they belonged in the finals last rivals and made their mark.
However in their rookie season,they didnt know what a final was going to be like, and they didnt train.
Now for those who say Leroy has yet to prove himself, I think he already gave us glimpes and glimpes of himself doin WORK.
He has Led TY in few challenges already this season and he just dominates. Hes not stupid too he does puzzles and plays cards.
I see Leroy and now TY as chill people just cuz this seaason
Leroy has proven himself on numerous occasions. He climbed the rope up the airplane which nobody else did faster then him not even CT,Wes or Johnny. He beat Wes in a physical elimination on Exes.He never came in last on Rivals and the only reason he came in last sometimes on Exes is because he had Naomi as a partner, and not even somebody like Evan could win with someone like Naomi.

I've always thought Leroy said he wanted to quit just to take the heat off of Mike. If he truly wanted to quit, then I think production would've pulled the plug, but they didn't. So when Mike wanted to quit why wasn't their any hesitation? I think Leroy might've said something in jest about quitting, but really didn't mean it. He's pushed this "I wanted to quit first" crap so Mike wouldn't look so bad. That's just the kind of the guy he is. You see how Tyrie acted towards Dunbar? Leroy would've never done that no matter who his partner is. I used to think this was all an act on Leroy's part, but I'm coming to the conclusion that's just who he is.
Im on board with Leroy having to proof he's this great competitor everyone is making him out to be. Beating Wes shouldn't even be an accomplishment big easy and cohutta have beat wes. Since the duel wes has been pathetic in eliminations. This challenge is a good one for Leroy to show how good of a competitor he is. He said himself he couldn't use the excuse of oh I have a bad partner this time. So far Leroy/Ty have been doing good,but not great. This team should make the finals, anything else is a letdown.

I'd like to see how this actually goes down. I don't understand how a male team could screw over another male team if they aren't even voting for each other. But Leroy did sound quite bitter towards Wes on afterbuzz which surprised me because Leroy always seemed to not mind Wes.

I think the problem with Leroy is that he threw away his vote for a couple of female eliminations so most girls don't know where he stands. Trey/Zach and Marlon/Jordan are the only possible choices for the girls so as not to ruffle any of the big boys but it seems they will win a few immunity challenges based on prior performances. Knight/Preston will probably always be last as long as they stay and hence will automatically go to the jungle. Wes might just make the choice of Leroy and rally female votes maybe because he sees him as a bigger threat over the rookies.
Cohutta beat Wes in a non physical elimination. Wes beat Derrick(Diesel) in a physical elimination. And Leroy beat Wes in a physical elimination. Not alot of guys can beat Wes physically.

I think that partially depends if he has been working out a lot too. For this Challenge, he admitted to not having lifted weights in at least a year.

On the team interview posted online, he said he hadn't lifted weights for the past 2 years, which would put him at the time of Rivals 1 for the last time he lifted weights. If this is true, then for Exes he hadn't been lifting weights for 7-8 months (Mark Long also said on a podcast that Wes didn't train at all while on the show while everyone else did, which adds validity to his claim) so Leroy's win was against a smaller Wes, but not as small as we see now.

I thought he was a lot smaller on exes than rivals, and remember exes was filmed almost 10 months after rivals, on bots he was really small which was filmed last summer (god time flies!), I dont think he ever took his shirt off on bots, only 1 time during the frank argument and my god, youd think he was an anorexic girl. Believe it or not after seeing him shirtless last ep in that scene where they read the rap I thought he looked better than the last challenge, he still had abs and pecks unlike on bots. I think he lies when he says he doesnt work out at all, maybe not as hard but I'm sure he some what maintains his abs, I dont believe they stay for 2 yrs without anything, and he expects me to belive that he can let himslef go for 2 yrs and not gain weight like Vinny and Evan? Anyways why are we taking about Wes in Leroy/Ty's thread?? cause of x battle I assume

Leroy did a spreecast with Brandon yesterday and it was pretty funny. He talked more about Theresa's crazyness, he said she send him crazy texts saying I hate you and a pic of a knife. And I was about to lose all respect for him after he said he used to beat women haha later on he said that was a joke. As for him and Wes, it seems he thinks Wes doesnt like him which is why he doesnt like Wes, and it looks like Wes thinks the same about Leroy. This beef is so weird they both think the other just stopped liking the other. I wish Wes would friggin talk about the damn show or at least do 1 interview, like the reasons Diem stated for her decisions, I'm sure theres method to his madness.

Yes, get him to do it! It seems like every cast member but CT/Wes do interviews. Trey had done like 5 and I think literally every other person has too. And CT/Wes are one of the main talked about ppl on the show
Its so hard to keep up with these podcasts and stuff. That's why I liked it when Derrick dd them. They were mostly consistent and had plenty of guests. Now I got to hunt this one down.
