I'm temtepted to start calling ev and paula the dynamic duo
It's about time someone else agree's (:
And there are many episodes to come, so we'll have to watch what happens.
Many of you guys can't stand her and so on, but everybody knows that she brings lot's of drama and many Challenges would have been so boring without her. She was the ony reason why I watched The Island and Fresh meat 2. And I think she is a GREAT competitor. Luke was so pissed when Evelyn said 'win is everything for me' on Fresh meat 2. But dude, it was like sixth her Challenge and first your so what the **** you can talk about winning? So GO Evelyn!
Dude, I love Evelyn but I'm not quite sure I agree with her bringing drama.
Dude, I love Evelyn but I'm not quite sure I agree with her bringing drama.
She doesn't bring intentional drama but her competitiveness brings drama. (IMO, that's the best kind).
Dude, I love Evelyn but I'm not quite sure I agree with her bringing drama.
Do you remember a Challenge when she didn't?
Do you remember a Challenge when she didn't?
Fresh Meat 1, but I agree that Evelyn has brought drama, not necessarily through fighting with people but through her competitive nature, to most of the challenges she's been on. I mean, imagine The Island without Evelyn...
Fresh Meat 1, but I agree that Evelyn has brought drama, not necessarily through fighting with people but through her competitive nature, to most of the challenges she's been on. I mean, imagine The Island without Evelyn...
Evelyn didn't bring drama to The Island, it came to her for who knows what reason. Johnny was the one who brought the drama; Evelyn was just trying to defend herself.
Evelyn didn't bring drama to The Island, it came to her for who knows what reason. Johnny was the one who brought the drama; Evelyn was just trying to defend herself.
I think that was the point lol, the Island would've been completely nothing without Ev because all of the drama revolved around her. Even though she didn't start it, like you said, it came to her so it was still revolved around her. If Ev was less of a vocal player but still the same athletically, it would've been different because she wouldn't have stuck up for herself in such a way. Like everybody's saying, she doesn't usually get involved with drama over stupid stuff (i.e. pants, sex, alcohol, etc.) but mostly stuff that has to do with performance (i.e. wanting to go against Coral in the Gauntlet; Giraffic Park). But still, there has been some times where it was stupid drama, like on the Ruins with her making fun of where Tonya was from and having it blow out of proportion, though it really wasn't her fault, Tonya just took it the wrong way.
like on the Ruins with her making fun of where Tonya was from and having it blow out of proportion, though it really wasn't her fault, Tonya just took it the wrong way.
Lol Tonya acted like such a crack head on that challenge, that was really funny how she fliped out at Ev's Wala wala comment, then Ev was like how many times have we made fun of the fact that we're in Phuket and the capital is Bangkok lol but they were both drunk. But I wouldn't consider that drama.

Unfortunately, Tonya was not in a good place emotionally before The Ruins started.
She doesn't bring intentional drama but her competitiveness brings drama. (IMO, that's the best kind).
Exactly. I agree.
Evelyn didn't bring drama to The Island, it came to her for who knows what reason. Johnny was the one who brought the drama; Evelyn was just trying to defend herself.
Well, expect for that whole "**** your alliance" thing
Well, expect for that whole "**** your alliance" thing
One of my all time favorite challenge moments. Going into that show she was my absolute least favorite girl ever, but after that speech I had to root for her.
And there are many episodes to come, so we'll have to watch what happens.
If you say so.
You not liking their personality =/= them not being good competitors. Rant about their personality if you wish, but don't pretend that Evelyn is fat and she and Laurel are not good competitors. That's just ridiculous
A sobbing Laurel during the Cutthroat finale, with Luke and Cara Maria supporting her (after she belittled her/them all season) and Sarah and Abram didn't even last. Nuff said about Laurel, and I never said Evelyn was fat...I said 20-23% body fat. If you know body fat ranges, that is normal.
She has never been beaten 1 on 1 against another girl so how is she over rated? She lost to Landon who is a man and was carrying more weight than her male partner. She only turned on her alliance because she had to and she sent in Katelynn because she though it was unfair for another team to go in when Katelynn was injured. And she's not a body builder so she doesnt need to be bulky, she can compete with the men when it comes to puzzles, speed, endurance and even sometimes strength. The isalnd girls were too scared to go in against her so they put her in against 2 guys like a bunch of ******* and that still didnt stop her. As far as the Island goes what did you expect her to do? Not win? As if you would say yeah put me on the boat with Robin and Ryan! If I was her there would be no way Id go threw all that **** and not win. I though their deal was fair, she didnt want Dunbar to win because she felt he didnt earn it and wanted people who won their keys to be on her boat. Her and Johnny made up so what's with the sold the soul crap, they argued she took his key, he took it back, so she made him work for it. And as a bonus for the **** she got on the Island she had Paula ***** and wine to them about screwing her over for months if not years later lol. It was great she had them by the balls, one way or another Ev was going to win, so no she's not over rated.
She LOST...Landon had a partner too. (Fresh Meat II) And she acted like a ******* that whole challenge with WES....they thought they ran everything, and treated others horribly. TJ was right to make his comments...she acted like a brat. She's no better than Johnny, Kenny, Evan etc. She pretends to be, but in the end, she'll roll over anyone to get her way.
She LOST...Landon had a partner too. (Cutthroat) And she acted like a ******* that whole challenge with WES....they thought they ran everything, and treated others horribly. And if anything, it's become fairly obvious that it's much easier for a guy to pick up a girl's slack than a girl to pick up a guy's slack. And who exactly did Evelyn treat horribly? Sarah, who acted like a hotshot veteran because she was on her second challenge? Luke, who told her straight to her face that he wasn't there to win, but to make sure he got invited back? As far as her rolling over anyone...does The Ruins ring a bell?
As far as Evelyn being overrated, kiki2000, you can go run a marathon, do multiple pull-ups, and squat 265 pounds. THEN tell me she's overrated. And she readily acknowledged that teaming up with Johnny, Derrick and Kenny on The Island felt like selling her soul. She didn't try to justify it with bull****.
First off...do you even KNOW WHAT you're talking about?? Show me a link that says Evelyn has done all of those things. PLEASE. And "calling me out" on doing those things is plain silly b/c you have no idea what I'm capable of. LOLOLOL (whereas we've WATCHED and seen Evelyn with our own eyes). I didn't say she didn't acknowledge it...I said she did it. And then acted like a tool with Wes during Fresh Meat II. She's a complete sore loser.

Yeah because she also calls people *****s and says they're fat and ugly. Get real, now about what happened on FM2, there was stuff edited out. Ev doesn't disrespect people in her alliance, no one was treated horribly. I never saw her act like a ***** on FM2, and as if you wouldn't be pissed if you killed yourself carrying more weight than your male partner and then lost, she felt he didn't give it his all, I'd be pissed too. Yeah Landon had a partner but he carried all the weight so Carly did nothing . And Her vs Landon was very close and he beat everybody and he's one of the best on the challenges, so to almost beat him is not overrated. And she wasn't on cutthroat?
I didn't say she didn't acknowledge it...I said she did it. And then acted like a tool with Wes during Cutthroat. She's a complete sore loser.
Yeah you sure do know a whole lot, you even made Ev magically appear on cutthroat.
Yes he did, but I'm not really sure what Cutthroat has to do with it. Landon and HIS partner beat Evelyn and HER partner. She acted like a baby. There is even an episode called "spoiled rotten Meat" She and Wes kept throwing in people who had their backs all along...in the end, making them look WORSE than Kenny (who they were trying to take a stand against because they did not like his prior tactics...along with his cronies). She just looked stupid. I'm all about competitiveness, but putting others down in the process is not cool. At least win if you're going to act like an ***.

I don't remember the number at the time, but it was mentioned on Gauntlet III how much she squats by one of the guys, and they were impressed. And I wasn't "calling you out," I was trying to get a frame of reference for which one would be consider Evelyn "overrated". The way you talk implies that you are capable of far more than she is, yet you chose not to make any comment on what you have or have not done. Quite honestly I don't care, and whatever "stats" you give me I'm not going to believe at this point anyways. Obviously we're just going to have to agree to disagree at this point.

As far as the Ruins go, I was talking about her throwing the elimination round so Kelly Anne could go on. But of course you wouldn't remember...because oh wait, that's an Evelyn that doesn't fit your idea of her!

OMG SHES GLOWING

It's crazy to think she is a few months younger than Kennifer West that debuted last year & like 4 months older than Kaycee that debuted this year. While she debuted on this show over 14 years ago.

She looks good happy and healthy see where ignoring MTV gets you. Da'vonne and Amanda are next in line for a major glow up
