I saw a comment earlier on this board that said "the team in the final with the least girls is going to win". I said, hmm, let me get the stats on that! So here they are. Battle of the Sexes - 3 men beat 3 women. Gauntlet - Road Rules wins with 5 girls, compared to Real World's 1. Inferno - Road Rules wins with 5 girls, compared to Real World's 1. Battle of the Sexes 2 - 3 men beat 3 women. Inferno 2 - Good Guys win with 1 girl, compared to Bad *******' 4. Gauntlet 2 - Both teams have 4 girls in the final. Both teams also had 2 girls compete in the only event that was actually played in the final. Veterans actually had more boys and lost. Inferno 3 - Both teams had 3 girls in the final. Gauntlet 3 - Both teams had 4 girls in the final. The Island - The winning boat had 1 girl, compared to the losing boat's 3. The Ruins - The Champions had 1 girl, compared to the Challengers' 2. Cutthroat - The Red team had 1 girl, compared to the Gray team's 3 and the Blue team's 2. Battle of the Seasons - San Diego had 2 girls, compared to Brooklyn and Las Vegas' 1 girl. There were 6 seasons in which this rule proved to be true. However, 3 seasons were a tie between girls, and 3 seasons actually deviated from the rule. So, while there's a higher likelihood of winning with less girls on one's team, it's not a complete given.
I'll still always take my chances on a "higher likelihood" by eliminating as many girls as I can off my team unless they're Laurel, Emily, Evelyn, Cooke, Theresa, Camila or Diem.
& if we're thinking old school, Jodie, Rachel, Tina
I would definitely not keep Tina around for a final! Inferno 2 anyone? :p
The Real World team would have won The Gauntlet if they had 0 girls on their team...
A lot of the top males on team Road Rules like Adam began The Gauntlet with a mindset that it would be best to keep all the men and get rid of all the women first. Things didn't go as they originally planned when the girls ended up outnumbering the guys on that team by the time they got to the final.

I didn't look at all the nitpicky details of every single final. I just looked at what the numbers themselves say.

^Wouldn't those numbers be a bit skewed though, because the old-school Challenges had 30-minute episodes and there was a lot more episodes per season than newer Challenges?
Just thought of this one: discounting the Inferno, where he volunteered for David, of the three shows that he went into elimination (Duel, Rivals, Free Agents), CT went into the second to last and last elimination back to back (Evan/Brad, Evan/Nehemiah/Johnny/Tyler, and Leroy/Johnny).

Laurel is the fifth competitor to make $200,000+, and the first woman to do so.
And always loses on the last one.
technicality, partner threw it, puzzle not much luck there but true

Here are lot of pages... so sorry if it is answered, but does anyone knows like tallest guy/shortest guy and girl from the challenge? Maybe someone have done this lineup or something.
Here are lot of pages... so sorry if it is answered, but does anyone knows like tallest guy/shortest guy and girl from the challenge? Nia is about 6 ft. Robb (St. Thomas) stands at 6'6.
Here are lot of pages... so sorry if it is answered, but does anyone knows like tallest guy/shortest guy and girl from the challenge? For the men Robb is the tallest at 6'6 and the shortest is probably Cohutta who's at 5'6.
Nia is taller than Laurel? Wow!
In 2 seasons, Devyn has made more than half of what Sarah's made in 7.
In 2 seasons, Devyn has made more than half of what Sarah's made in 7.
I don't know why but that's funny as hell to me.
In 2 seasons, Devyn has made more than half of what Sarah's made in 7.
It is relatively easy to make finals when people want to keep you around :)
The huge difference is Sarah's terrible partners and Devyn's luck/everyone giving her a free ride because she sucks so much
The huge difference is Sarah's terrible partners and Devyn's luck/everyone giving her a free ride because she sucks so much
Fact--fits perfectly in this thread :)

This is incorrect as CT has been in 4 finals without going into an elimination Inferno 2, Gauntlet 3, Exes, Rivals 2.
This is incorrect as CT has been in 4 finals without going into an elimination Inferno 2, Gauntlet 3, Exes, Rivals 2.
Good call
So CT is officially the king of sliding to the end. Lol.
So CT is officially the king of sliding to the end. Lol.
lol technically, however he won every life shield on male inferno days in the inferno 2 so he was never eligible for elimination if he was ever nominated, on Exes he won the last 2 challenges so he and Diem were not eligible for the dome, on rivals 2 he won the last challenge ensuring him and Wes a spot in the final, and in the Gauntlet 3 The Rookies had 2 opportunities to put him in and Chose ADAM and Evan instead of CT both times. Just saying :p
