In 2018, the Challenge aired weekly for 47 out of the 52 weeks in the year. January 2-April 17 - Vendettas April 17-June 26 - Champs vs Stars July 10-December 4 - Final Reckoningthere was a 2 week hiatus in july and it ended the first week of december Crazy!!!!
and that’s compared to 2017’s 44 weeks
Invasion: 2/7-5/16
Champs vs Pros: 5/16-6/20
break
Dirty 30: 7/18-11/28
Champs vs Stars: 11/21-1/9
Which is double 2016’s weeks we’ve had a LOT of challenge recently
Darrell is the only male RR castmember to win a partner or individual season.War of the Worlds is the earliest Johnny has left a season since his debut - Duel 1, aka TWENTY SEASONS ago.WotW is also the earliest elimination CT has ever been in.
Final Reckoning continues the trend of 1-time champs becoming 2-time champs every season since 27 (which is the last time we had two people winning a season for the first time together –Cara & Jamie – which also happened the immediate previous season, with Sarah & Jordan).
Ashley and Hunter entered the game late and won the season. This previously happened with CT on Invasion, with DerricK on Inferno 3 (who replaced CT after he punched Davis and was disqualified), and with Christena on Inferno 1 (she replaced Piggy, who was edited out).
First people to lose 3 eliminations in a single season (Natalie, Paulie, Brad, Kyle).
Johnny Bananas, Nany, and Dan Renzi were also eliminated multiple times in a single season – J&N on Exes 2 and Dan Renzi on Sexes 1.
Devin and Cheyenne were other people brought back after losing in elimination.
Second man to make the final after losing in elimination (Paulie, who joins Devin from Rivals 3). For women, Cheyenne and Natalie have that distinction, along with Theresa on Exes 2. You might say CT and Jordan have this from Dirty Thirty, but they were purged – they didn’t lose in elimination.
As others have said, it was the first final for 6 of the 8 people in it (everyone besides Ashley and Cara). This hasn’t happened since Battle of the Seasons 2, where it was the first final for everyone except Sarah (7/8). Pretty momentous.
Johnny has been on the last 10 consecutive seasons, the record. For women, the record is 7 – held by Cara (Fresh Meat 2-Free Agents) and Sarah (Ruins-Rivals 2).
Shane now holds the record for the most seasons without making a final, with 7 + 1 spin-off. Alternatively, Aneesa has been on the most seasons where she hasn’t made a final, with 10 + 2 spin-off appearances without a final. (She only final’d on Gauntlet 2 and Duel 2)
Veronica holds the record for the longest span of seasons (29), and Shane has it for the men (26).
This isn't an interesting fact, it's a sad one. The last season without at least one of Bananas, Cara Maria, CT, and Wes on the cast was Gauntlet 2.
that is sad.
also the only way Veronica and Shane will get beat out of their longest span award is if Production super surprises us one day lol
Isn't CT getting pretty close to Shane?
I think he's referring to longest span between seasons
Oh okay I figured he meant total span like CT's would Inferno-TM
Well, Trishelle has Veronica beat, no? Shane has the longest time span for me, while Trashelle's at 12 or something?
Yeah she went 14 seasons between appearances and Shane went 16 seasons between appearances. The runners up would be Veronica, who went 11 seasons between appearances, and Brad, who went 10 seasons between appearances.
Oh I was talking about span of their 'career' lol sorry for the mixup.
Wikipedia also said this is the first season since Guantlet 2 to have no one that made their debut on the challenge (fresh meat, fm2, spring break, or bloodlines).

CT actually has Shane Landrum beat. CT first appeared on The Inferno (Season 8 ) and he's on this season (Season 35), which is a span of 27 seasons. Shane first appeared on Battle of the Sexes (Season 6) and was last on Final Reckoning (Season 32), which is a span of 26 seasons. That would be impressive to me, but CT's done way more seasons than Shane has.

yeah Shane disappeared after Fresh Meat, CT has been decently steady since the inferno to 'we see you way too much' season 35 lol
also Battle of the Sexes-Freah Meat Shane is like a whole different person to Invasion-Final Reckoning Shane in terms of how he played the game lol

I heard that production told him to step up the drama, which is why we got the annoying and crazy Shane when he came back
I first watched the challenge in 2013 with Rivals 2.
At that time Paula had the record for most challenge appearances with 10. Backpack, CT, and Aneesa all had a three way tie for second place with 9. Of course that was broken with Battle of the Exes 2.
I did not think that Johnny was going to be on this many challenges, nor CT or Aneesa.
People use bad jokes and delusions and think they’re clever. Ignore it.

How many seasons have we had with all 4 of them?
Amazingly just Rivals, Battle of the Exes, Rivals II, and both War of the Worlds
CT wore out his welcome after Rivals.
Never found CT and Diems love storyline interesting....
that is sad.

Inferno & Rival Franchise Iterations
1. Both saw alternations and deviations from original game structure.
2. Unexpected cast withdraw
3, Deplorable third iterations in contrast to series other
3 isn't true. Inferno 3 wasn't as good as the first 2 but it was very good. At best its an opinion not a fact.
4. Episode 3 =Favorite of season

Next season will be the first season since Exes without Jenna or Zach
This is s good one. Never even thought about it
