They should just have Maria walk round the bar asking questions whilst trying to dodge the flying objects. In fact I think they did do a reunion like that in the olden days, can't remember which reunion it was though.
That would be so awesome. Do the reunion to get them all riled up and then film the party and cut in the reunion show clips as context when someone runs across the bar with darts stuck in them. Man, they REALLY need to hire us to run that place.
...........Really?
The bar is very narrow (probably about 10 feet from the edge of the bar to the wall), so they won't have to run far. Think bar stool, walk way, booth seating two people... 10-12 cast members and friends, a few bar regulars, plus a few MTV people and the place is packed. Fortunately, the place has character.
One thing that annoys me about the past 2-3 challenges is that every night before eliminations, the cast always goes to a bar or club. They never used to do that, they would only get drunk at the house and have drama, rather than go out to a bar to get drunk and have drama. I liked it better when they wouldn't go to bar/club because it seemed more real. They would have to find their own drunken entertainment, plus it's probably easier for the show to film since they don't have to subtitle them due to there being loud music or anything.

I don't know if that's completely true though. I think maybe it wasn't as common back then (or at least wasn't shown as much), but the cast definitely went to bars on Inferno (Trishelle threatened to beat up Mallor or Coral or both?), BOTSexes 2 (Tonya and Theo hooked up in the van), Inferno 2 (AND NOW ITS A NECKLACE!!) and Duel (I think they were at a bar before Robin made the racist comments towards Aneesa)
I know what you mean though. Also, it's kind of sad how much I remember about old challenges and how little I can remember from more recent challenges.
Yeah they always used to go out pre The Island.
Then for The Island to Fresh Meat II they locked them up.
Viewers and cast members complained, and so now they let them out every now and then.

Oh, you see, the only challenges I've seen are from Duel 2 to now, so when I saw them going out all the time, it bothered me cause I wasn't used to it.
First question who is the best player in the JEK alliance? I personally would go with Kenny just for the reason that he's made 7 out of 8 finals. That's a pretty ridiculous record that no one will ever approach. Also he probably has the best social game out of the 3 since he never has to go into eliminations except when he ***** the bed like Rivals. He's an underrated competitor as evidenced by his domination of Fresh Meat 2(except for the final). Bananas at this second is probably the best player in the game after back to back wins and he's also the best competitor of the 3, having taken out beasts like Dunbar, Mark, and CT. He and Tyler were the best team on Rivals throughout the season even though they got lucky in the final when Kenny and Wes had a 45 minute lead but at the checkpoint they only got a 2 minute lead on the mountain. He's actually been lucky a lot. Kenny basically wrote the check for Johnny himself on The Island, if he hadn't won that challenge he would've been on the challengers team on the ruins and lost that one, on Rivals he had the best guy partner (in terms of best 2nd best player on the team if that makes sense) and had probably the 2nd or 3rd best girl on Exes. Evan was the best player in the alliance for a while in my opinion but he's only been on 1 of the last 4 challenges and he sucked on Rivals. I think hes probably the 2nd best competitor and has the worst social game out of the 3 since everyone always thinks he's being shady, and overall I think he's become the weakest of the alliance even though he's still 1 of the best players ever.
I can't stand JEK. All three of them have egos the size of the universe, and I'm sick of them winning all the time. Does it make them good competitors, sure, but it doesn't make for such interesting TV seeing the same people every season, winning every season. Because of them people like CT, Diem, Robin, Aneesa, Jenn, Kellyanne, Sarah, and (for a loonnngggg time) Paula and Brad never won challenges because they would always be there, play politically, and just coast to the finals. During the Ruins, the only one of them to go to eliminations was Johnny, and the main reason they kept winning was simply because the Challengers team had Casey and she was the real reason her team kept losing. I cringe every time Kenny calls himself "Mr. Beautiful", get a ****in reality check. And Evan is not attractive, at all, his body is gross.
Overall though, if I HAD to pick a favorite of the three, I would go with Evan, because he actually is funny sometimes, very sarcastic. Plus he's Canadian, so that's pretty cool to me, lol.
Wow I don't remember CJ throwing his exile to Landon! I thought he and his partner just sucked. Why would he and his partner, want to throw an exile to Landon? The only thing I remember is after winning one exile over Brandon and Katelyn, he and his partner came back to the house making up stuff about the exile that never happened. Only they couldn't pull off the lies.

The puzzles had a time limit of 15 minutes. If you didn't get it in 15 minutes, you moved on. There's no other explanation for them staying there so long unless they threw it.

I don't recall there being a time limit on the puzzles in Fresh Meat II

That does not prove they threw it. A few people are stating it like it was a known thing. It wasn't. CJ and his partner just did really badly the whole exile. I just think they didn't know what they were doing. TJ was exhausted by the time they got back and Landon was long gone, so they didn't have any reason to take that long if they were just throwing it due to their loving Landon. CJ's partner wouldn't have been up for that. Doesn't make sense.
The first time they were sent in against Katelyn and Brandon, they never even did an exile because Brandon was drunk. So they went back telling people a bunch of nonsense that they couldn't pull off. That's the only thing weird I remember CJ doing on Fresh Meat. Sometimes things don't work out in an elimination round. He is a football player, but that doesn't mean he's going to be good on the challenges either.

What makes no sense about it? You mean to tell me that they were so dumb that they didn't listen to judges who'd be saying "Your time is up, go on to the next puzzle"? They explained the situation already. They knew Landon would beat them anyway and told him "Take as much time as you need to to explore everything." That's why when CJ and Sydney got to the top, he screamed for Landon before crossing the finish line and didn't cross until TJ assured them that Landon had already finished.

For starters--Cara Maria never competed in that Exile
Second, we never ONCE saw a team fail to complete that first puzzle in "Weight for Me" and move on
Third, where did they supposedly explain this. Do you have a link?

15 mins each. and if you figure it out in 7mins... u run along... if you can figure it out... you wait out the whole 15 mins while the other team is trotting along the trail gaining time on you. ******* puzzles.

Yeah everyone solved it because it's a 5 piece tangram. It's practically impossible NOT to solve it in under 15 minutes

I remember Sydney pretty much hinting during the episode on Twitter that her and CJ threw the mission. She was pretty ****** at how it was portrayed that they were ACTUALLY doing bad when they were only pretending to do so. They made an agreement with Landon and Carley to throw it, so they could run through the Exile themselves and gauge how hard it actually is.
Random. I know this was discussed years ago but oh well:
So I was watching battle of the sexes II over and it's funny how things change over time and the dynamic of these friendships. After watching Rachel get sent home for the second time during that season--the clique was Coral, Rachel and Veronica and the three were against Tina and Katie who linked up to get rid of Rachel. But once we head into Inferno II Tina's now apart of the clique (Mean Girls) and then we also see the friendship of Coral and Katie a few challenges later. It's just strange to me.
Btw. Coral was actually impressive in some of these physical challenges they had that required upper body strength while better competitors weren't on top of their A-game like Ruthie and Sophia and some of the males for example.
I was in the mood to talk about it even though it's so old. Sorry, haha. :p
Didn't she used to date David from RW Seattle? Like around the Inferno 1?
Yes they dated and broke up prior to Gauntlet 2.
Some people may not remember this news, but in view of Anderson Cooper's announcement last night, it's worth re-posting about RW: Brooklyn's J.D. Ordonez.

Kenny is in my eyes the worst of the three. Yeah he has an good political game, but that's it. He's not even that good in finals. He's just a great runner, but not good at puzzles and stuff. As much as I hate him Evan was always one the best competitors until Rivals. And Johnny who is my favorite, is in my eyes the best at the moment.
Here's what I think of all the challenges I've seen.
Duel 2- I liked this season a lot. It had a great cast, and really the only thing I didn't like was that Evan won.
Ruins- it was good at the beginning, but I got REALLY fed up with Casey and the fact that she was the real reason why her team lost all the time. Plus the teams got so uneven because the Champions team had really good people on there, and the Challengers team had so many ************ players.
Fresh Meat 2- I hated this season. The whole season was basically just the Kenny vs. Wes show, no thanks. But I was soooooo happy with the winner <3
Cutthroat- similar to Ruins, a big reason I didn't like this season is because of how eneven the teams were at the end. Although it had some great moments (CT carrying Johnny, obviously) and I was glad no JEK made the finals, and was really happy when Brad and Tori won their last challenge together.
Rivals- I didn't like this one. Instead of it being the whole Kenny vs. Wes show, it was the JEKW vs. CT show. I almost started crying when CT got eliminated, I was so upset.
Exes- I felt like this season was too similar to Rivals. The format was way too similar to Rivals, especially having them back to back like that. And don't even get me started on the winner. I would have been fine with ANY OTHER TEAM in that season winning the challenge, EXCEPT Johnny and Camila. I wanted either CT and Diem, Aneesa and Rachel, or Mark and Robin. I would have been fine with Ty and Emily too. Just anybody but Johnny and Camila.
My main problem is that every season I've seen (except Cutthroat) has had JEK winning or in the finals. D2- Evan. Ruins- all of them. FM2- Kenny in the finals. Rivals- Johnny, plus Kenny in the finals. Rivals- Johnny winning again.
So, as you can tell, I just hate JEK, hahhaha.
I think Evan is a strong competitor, but he never seemed to have a cutthroat drive. I was really shocked and disappointed that he was part of the current alleged incident. Goes to show you can really not rely on what you see on the TV screen.

JD did have a thing for only going for older men when he was on RW. I would think Anderson could have done better than JD though.
