lol like i said a full season of them would not work (unless it was a mini series like champs vs stars and was a legit old school challenge with them...that'd be sweet, entertaining, and they could see who still has it and could transfer to the big show).  A solid mix of old school - mid school - and new era cast members always makes for a strong season and a more balanced cast imo.

Also Thanks Montanagavemewine  <3

Also rwportland2, just for the recrod...I am a 'he' not a 'she'.  :)

I want some Survivor Players.

Woo from Survivor Cagayan would be good on The Challenge.

They honestly just need to get rid of Bananas and Cara and the show would be better.

This is all I'm hoping for.  I have to say though,  the UK group is bringing it.  Aside from some duds like kayleigh,  they are solid competitors & bring fresh, fun new drama.  Bear may be a bit hyper, but I am loving his erratic behavior & total wild card antics.  Just wish he was dragging down cara maria instead of sweet Dayvonne.

Kaz Crossley from Love Island has been training with Georgia, Theo & Bear, any chance she got a call?

Enough of the UK people.

She's a Thai baddie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Is she entertaining?

Enough of the UK people.

not enough*

You're right, hoprefully they bring Chase, Morgan & The twins back

UK and Amanda are keeping up with what Marie started with making the challenge fun again.

I totally agree with this article!

I wish networks would actually care about this people mental helath after they used them for their shows and to get money out of them.

This would be the ideal franchise to provide help after the shows, since many of these people do come back

Lol these producers are demons who only see green & couldnt give two shits about anything besides that as long as its not directly affecting that (TapeGate is a clear example). There could be 20 suicides & all Jonathan Murray, that Skye ***** & all the rest would say is some pseudo-psychological nonsense that still won't solve a thing if they even do that.

MTV/BMP in general are very demented companies & lost any goodness they had when Mary-Ellis Bunim passed. I wonder if Leroy knows they may be trying to get Trash back on the show.....

Wasn’t that why Sarah wanted to pursue psychology bc she wanted to specialize in dealing with people post reality tv? This stuff clearly is not healthy and you can see it in the ones who are unfortunately not here and those like Cara Maria who don’t know the difference between real life and the show. These people really sign their lives away going onto these shows and it’s sad that the producers could not give a single F

Another reason why Camila can't come back to this franchise, she came close to her breaking point on CvS, if she's made any progress as a person off the show then she needs to stay off the show for her own good

Eh. I think all of that is on the person. At this point in the game everyone knows what RTV is about and what it does to people so they gotta prepare for it. You gotta have your head on straight and know who you are because otherwise you endd up like Camilla or Cara Maria or even Backpack.

She's a Thai baddie >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Is she entertaining?

Meh. She came in half way through Season 4 and broke up a couple but she never really did much. But she is gorgeous

To be fair, Georgia also didn;t do too much on her season.

Even though I agree people should take responsibility, producers (MTV specifically) should definitely also be held accountable. It was clear to anyone with a brain that Tonya's mental health was way off and they continued making a mockery out of her without giving a single ****. She was very vulnerable around that time and in a bad place on her life and she probably saw the show as a way to escape from her demons irl, but no let's instead let Kenny, Evan and Bananas torture her the entire season because "boys will be boys". She definitely should have declined that season, but a person in that state isn't exactly well equiped to make good decisions.

And it's the same shit with Camila. She IS an awful person, but it was VERY clear since the first Exes that it was more than her just being a piece of shit. But they continued with the Camilanator schtick and encouraging her behavior, and then they want to act shocked with the end results? **** outta here.

Also, I never noticed until that picture on the waterfall was posted, but **** Georgia's body is banging

Tonya  on The Ruins is a very unique situation.  I'm not really sure what production knew of her before they cast her for that season.  Tonya wasn't a complete trainwreck on The Island (short stay) or The Inferno 3 so they may not have known she had fallen off the deep end.   We also don't know exactly what production knew and when they found out regarding Kenny/Evan/Tonya.   I mean, by all accounts Veronica basically acted as Tonya's mom on The Ruins and she flipped out on her.  Yes, they have a past but Veronica was taking care of her.   It's weird to think how different thing could have been over the past decade if Diem just beat Tonya instead of throwing it.

I disagree! Yes they know what reality tv is but at the same time its also production responsibility. They made millions of dollars from shows with this people the least they can do is help with their mental health bills like Sarah and Susie have said a million times on their podcast.

Some people after this shows touch button and really depressed Preston, Christina (Bgc Mexico), knight, camila/tonya , the love island girl that committed suicide last year, this love island guy and the list keeps going.

I think the bigger probably is casting people who clearly didn’t pass the psych like Sam from BB20. She was clearly so mentally ill and the mocked it...which really wasn’t cool. They also need to quit recasting people who clearly are spiraling out of control. Cara and Paulie are not mentally stable to be doing challenges but they will be first called and that is messed up. They like exploiting mental illnesses and that is how we end up with suicide and people like Ryan from Megan Wants A Millionaire.

Kajun spilling tea

Cara is definitely gonna snap one of these days, especially since she’s been getting so much hate this season and she’s clearly not well equipped to deal with it. She has become so consumed with The Challenge, like that’s the only thing she has going on in her life and it’s kinda sad. They really need to force her to take a break because clearly she’s not gonna decline a call.

Paulie is unhinged but we been knew since the moment he set foot in the BB house.

Reality stars obviously crave attention, it’s why they go on reality (not a bad thing). But they need to think is having a strong social media following worth all the negativity that comes with it. So many of them just need to delete their twitter and stick to Instagram and either limit the comments or keep them off. Stay away from sites like this too lol cause we have strong opinions. I know the fame and followers is intoxicating but it just doesn’t seem worth it unless you have super thick skin.

Brett from BB20 did the Challengemania podcast. I was wondering if anyone listened to it and could give a rundown on any interesting things that was said?

Oh most definitely & it's crazy that we're all watching it happen slowly but surely. If she don't want the help tho, there's nothing nobody can do.

I honestly can´t say what´s worse, the environment and pressures of living in a challenge house, or the constant bashing on social media.Cast members get so much hate its ridiculous. Cara deactivated her twitter to get a break and MTV basically enforces social media activity at least once a week (on Wednesdays)and makes it part of the contracts. Don´t get me wrong, I think she needs a season off, especially after getting to a final 3 times in a row and consequently being in this environment for the whole filming period, but social media and especially the twitter wars with castmates and hate from trolls have to be damaging.

Things would have def. been a lot different.  For starters Kenny and Evan would have prob done a lot more.

I agree with what Susie and Sarah say too, they should offer mental health help post-show.  And having people take a season off (like Cara Maria or Bananas) would be super healthy for them as well (not to mention more entertaining for viewers when we see some one we hadn't seen in a year).  As much as I hate note seeing Marie or Veronica this season,  if by some odd chance they came back next season it'd be super refreshing with them having a season off.  I think it's just good for the show in general.  Having 3/4 the same cast every season gets monotonous.  I think thats why ealrier seasons worked so well...yeah we had a few people who were brought back each season but a majority of the cast was always different.  And a lot of of the different cast members each season were big names like Coral, Beth, etc where we got a heavy hitter (be it in performance or drama) and they were different each season and some seasons we were blessed with multiple people.  It made it more exciting.

I went off on a tagent but I stand by that lol

Whoever managed to sit through more than 5-10 minutes of Brett talking deserves a gold medal. Not to mention you can't even listen to that podcast without Derrick rambling about his time on the challenge.
