is it me or is that 4 women going up the volcano thing at the end of it? meaning 4 women made at least a portion of the final? it's very hard to tell if they are guys or girls but id say they look like women
i have a good computer, and buzfeed took like 20 min to load this whole thing, so i have much time to look at freezeframes while it loads, geez...
I just saw 2 girls
I just saw 2 girls
and 2 guys? becuase it's 4 people. the 2nd person from the flag looks like laurel if anyone she just looks big but i thought maybe it was the first checkpoint of the final than they break into teams or something ..that far back hard to tell becuase they have huge coats on..it looks way to close to be the end of the whole challenge too but thats def the final in some aspect
The random draw thing intrigues me and gives me "Survivor purple rock"-ish vibes. I see this as a positive because in the past few seasons it's always been "I don't want to go against the toughest team/competitor" and the final jungle in Rivals 2 was a testament to this. Diem/Aneesa vs. Paula/Emily would have been a fantastic jungle but instead we got the lackluster Jemmye/Camila vs. Diem/Aneesa jungle. Now, nobody is ever safe and always has to watch their backs which is cool.
I'm sure there'll be more drama in the full trailer on Explosion tonight. This was probably just to tide over the hardcore fans. The big stuff will be on when new fans could possibly see it.
Also, direct quote from the Buzzfeed article.
Below, BuzzFeed has the exclusive first trailer for The Challenge: Free Agents, and the roster for this season’s competitors.
I assume this means there's more to come, if you weren't convinced.
This is just the wrong cast for this format , I'm sorry , yes I know there is more to come but this whole season gave me FM2 , no drama and the rules are just sketcky , This is a clear season for Laurel to win as she was given no competition maybe There, Jonna and Aneesa could hold there own against her in a finals but overall this challenge is gonna have to a no for me.
I'm still excited for this season but the trailer kind of sucked. The trailer better be better/longer tonight.
Johnny R. & Nany.. interesting
Jemmye wasn't even shown neither was Camila.
The missions seem intense though.

Jemmye wasn't shown but I believe you could hear her talking and that's enough for me.

Just because there was no drama in this trailer doesn't mean there was no drama in the entire season.
Ok, after rewatching about 10 times the trailer has grown on me, accepting the fact that this is just the first one. I like the music and the transitions.
It helps to think of it as a "teaser" rather than "trailer" lol.

This isn't the right cast! On the girls side it seems like BMP tried but many dropped out (Susie, KellyAnne and Averey)
Paula was down but then they got rid of Tyler which is messed up because he would have been good for this! He is wayyyyy better than Frank!
Darrell and Mark needed to be here! Also, I wouldn't have mind seeing Noor for this format. And even Tyrie would have been better than Brandon. Tyrie sucks but he never gives up and will call you out too! He could have a had chance here.
Did anyone else get a Hungers Game vibe watching the trailer! Like the black jerseys and the scenery like I bet that was what BMP was going for too lmao
I actually like the cast and trailer. I agree - if they had Kellyanne, Avery, Susie, Cooke on the girls side, it would have been a different game.
I mean I like the cast but they should have got some more heavy hitters! Like Ruthie OMG!
This is just too funny

That actually looked really scary! Like I hope no one got hurt because of that!
Classy.
We shouldn't judge a single 20 something year old for hooking up with whoever they please. It might go against your beliefs but everyone has their own.
I most likely in the minority but I LOVE the random selection format. I've been waiting for something like this to happen for a long time! Now we get a chance to see the top dogs go into eliminations. Also I hope Laurel doesn't dominate the season but I have a feeling she will similar to Paula and Emily last season.
I know I'm gonna catch soooooo much heat because of this comment but I kinda miss Kenny, NOT Evan but Kenny.
Speaking strictly challenge wise, I was never big on him. He's like the male version of Diem. He had some funny moments and one liners but I never really cared for him. The Kenny vs Wes season was good though (FM2?)
Hmmm ... just watched the trailer (teaser?) and it seems underwhelming (despite the apparently high level of production).
It is great to see that it's an individual challenge finally, but really feels like they weren't able to get the dream cast for this format. It would be exciting to see CT, Mark, Landon, Darrell, Derrick go at it and Laurel, Paula, Emily, Rachel, etc. Why are Jemmye, Preston, etc. even on this? I'm not really feeling this one as it stands.
Also, the random elimination cards take the best drama out (the politics) which seems like a strange call.
Also, why is Nany hooking up/kissing everyone? Could it be that the Rivals 2 "rap" about her was on point? ;)
Great to see Cohutta and Isaac though ...

I agree. The show has swung way to much in the direction of alliances and has desperately needed to find a balance again.

The only reason I wanna see him is so he can interact with these new kids. I wanna see the dynamics!

I think Jemm is the first gone.
After thinking about it I think I like this format. Being randomly put into elimination kind of sucks, but the last three or four shows there was really no reason to win challenges, especially if you had the right alliances. Most of the time the goal was never to win...it just was to not come in last. Now you have to win to be guaranteed the right to not go in.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but it's basically either an individual, pair, or team day, somehow the pairs/teams are decided and then the winning person/pair/team picks one person among the losers to go in and all the other losers have to draw those cards to see if they're safe? I think that's pretty decent.
