Is Hannah even going to the games? I don't follow it closely but I read something about her not doing too well in the qualifying events.
Frank announced his retirement on Grantland interview or real world ex-plosion
Praise god. His voice was really annoying. Still remember his Alexandra delusions.
He didn't say anything about this challenge. He said he was done with challenges and talked about the new real world. He acted like him and Zito were cool. He said he never wants to speak to Nate again and how he hasn't talked to Knight since he hit him because he doesn't hang out with drug addicts but he mainly talked about the new real world.
There goes Frank saying something ugly. Suppose Knight said "he doesn't hang around with you-know-whats? I bet things would get ugly fast. Frank is messy.

Didn't somebody around here say that Frank's boyfriend is not so drug-free?

LLOL, I feel for him then. Like isn't she 10 feet tall?
Why do people always complain that Johnny "should get a job"? Just because you reach a certain age doesn't mean that you have to stop doing things that you enjoy doing. Quit *****ing about other people's lifestyles and worry about yourself.

Agreed. The thing I've never gotten is why people just single out Johnny. It's like do they know that they could say the exact same thing about guys like CT, Dunbar, Paula, etc? It doesn't appear as if those people are working 5 days a week from 9-5. And isn't CT 2-3 years older than Johnny?

Well I've also seen it said here that he still lives with his mother. I have no idea if that is true, but it seems to be the main reason why people call him out on it. No reason to be 30 and living at home because you refuse to get a real job. On rivals 2 I think Wes said his mother pays his rent? Either way, if true, not a good look.

I'm fairly certain that those 3 have jobs, not necessarily 9-5 5 days a week jobs, but jobs. Johnny doesn't have a job period

I could have sworn I heard Dunbar say in an interview that he was basically broke and trying to land an acting job but with no success, and that he was sleeping on the couches of a few of his friends. It was in an interview he did with Alexandra from RW San Diego either before or after Rivals II. Idk, I could be wrong. I've also heard from friends of mine who know CT (I grew up in Boston before I moved to Texas) that there was a time period not too long ago that he didn't have a job, unless you call bar appearances, hooking up with random girls at clubs, and partaking in wet t-shirt contests a job. Maybe he actually has a job now?

Paula is a bartender, and yes, they make good money on the weekends without having to find a job.
Sorry Johnny is a real life loser. He lives at home with his mother, parties all the time, has never held a real job, probably doesn't have a good education, and is a jerk and he's in his 30s. So yes, the loser needs to grow up and do something with his life instead of living off of an mtv reality show. For someone that gave Tonya crap for her lifestyle, looks like she is doing much better at life than he is.

this! And 9-5 jobs do not always equate good jobs anyway

Penn State is a pretty good school, isn't it? I'm not trying to defend Johnny because I like him. I don't hate him, but I don't like him. I just have never understood why he's the only one who gets crap for "being a jerk" (could say the same thing about Kenny and CT, two of the biggest ********** to ever appear on this show), "not having a real/big time job" (I'm sure he's not the only one), the list goes on and on.
probably doesn't have a good education
Johnny has either a BS or a BA in economics from Penn State, and he had to do decently in high school to get accepted as he doesn't live in Pennsylvania and state school's admission standards are much higher for non residents.
Clearly this doesn't mean much if he isn't doing anything with it, but to say he's uneducated when he completed his undergraduate degree (unlike a good percentage of the others) is a bit silly.

This, I think that's why johnny gets all the crap on getting a real job ,because he judges everyones lifestyles except the one he has, I think that if production decided to stop calling someone like CT to do challenges, he would be fine, he doesnt seem to depend on the challenges to live.
Exactly but if they stopped calling Johnny he would be in big trouble financially because its hard to get a good job when your résumé is empty because he hasn't had a job. No professional company is going to hire someone with an economics degree who is in their 30's but has no experience that's why Johnny shouldn't judge anyone else's lifestyle

Don't know mate the way he's worked people into making him money over the years can be seen as a pretty good asset.
It could be but real life doesn't always work that way, employers want to see that you have experience at least an apprenticeship or a previous job he can't just come in with a list of mtv shows/appearances and think he's going to get the job over a guy who has a resume full of jobs/apprenticeship and references. Also Johnny's public image is negative and when employers search for his name online they will see videos and negative articles/comments about him
Can someone point me to any point at which Johnny commented on Tonya's off the challenge life because I've never heard it. The only person who I've ever heard go in on someone's real life is Wes.
To say Johnny is uneducated beause he doesn't work is just dumb. He is actually very intelligent, I just feel like he is lazy. But he is basically living the life, not working and traveling all the time. I'm sure anyone wishes they didn't have to work and could just travel.. It is his life so who cares.
If Johnny did make fun of Tonya's real life then hes one to talk. They were all saying she was a drunk on the ruins but really they all look pretty stupid when theyre drunk. I wouldnt say the guy is dumb for not working on the side but it will be a bit difficult to get a real job with the challenge on your resume, even if it isnt employers can still google you and see you being stupid and drunk. I think some still found decent work though, Paula has a real job now right? Katie does too, and I think Brad has an insurance company or something. Kenny said most ppl who are now successful had to completely leave mtv and for the most part thats true, most working ppl are not on the show, Wes and Diem do work and I think Knight is a car sales man, Emily has her superhero training thing, Melinda does something with teeth, dont know if CT still does the house flipping, havent heard what others do in real life besides for bar tending (theres nothing wrong with bar-tending)
Johnny seems to be ridding the challenges as long as he can then I guess he'll look for real work, imo thats not the best idea. I would think you need something going on so you can still provide for yourself in case youre not called for 2 challenges in a row. Thats why I think what Wes has been doing is respectable as cocky and arrogant as he is about his business and whether or not he actually makes as much as he brags about its clear that hes worked on that company for years and had a plan since he started MTV, which shows hes thinking long term and its good to see ppl passionate about something. But I still question how seriously Wes' business partners take him cause of the dumb things hes done on Tv, maybe theyre too old to know what the show is about.
