I highly doubt JR beat the 4 other guys.
People are saying Leroy beat Zach, Johnny, and CT.. I don't think believing Johnny R. won is too far off.

I agree, we haven't seen him perform yet, he could surprise us. Personally, I think either Johnny Bananas or Zach won, but I wouldn't be that surprise if Johnny R. won. In fact, I'll be more surprise if Leroy won.
Haha more surprised... Leroy is on par with Zach IMO. And Leroy is in much better shape then Bananas. And he's in better shape then JR. Leroy winning wouldn't be surprising at all.
I don't get why people think Zach is better then Leroy. IMO they are the same... Both are really strong and physical. And pretty good to average at everything else.

How do you figure he's in more shape than Johnny? His muscles? And did you not see Zach crush Leroy in that Rivals 2 elimination? Leroy is nowhere near as physically strong as Zach imo. Leroy winning would be a shocker to me just because he's been fairly average on all his challenges so far. The only thing he does have over some people is upper body strength but that isn't always as useful as swimming, puzzle solving abilities, balance/agility, and endurance. And everyone who's speculated to being in the final has proven to be better at all those things than him. Except Johnny R. of course.

When has this been proven that Zach is better than Leroy in these categories?
Zach crushed him in Rivals 2 elimination?? They weren't even going against each other in something physical. It was who can escape faster through a tower thing.Leroy and Zach are pretty even like I said, they're both really strong and are really good at physical things. But they're both average at everything else.

In a way they were going against each other. Zach and Leroy were doing the same levels. Zach crushed Leroy popping the chains and breaking through the door. Both of which required physical strength.

And in the end, Zach was the dumber person as he got his team DQed.
To me I can't tell if Leroy is that great or not because on every season he has been on he isn't really shown much or just plays the game safe.
Rivals- Him & Mike played it safe. He proved he could climb though
Battle of the Exes- Well he had Naomi as a partner..
Rivals 2- Him and Ty played it safe. Leroy even said they just did the missions to make sure they didn't come in last.
Nothing against playing it safe, I just could never tell if Leroy is up to par with some of the better competitors because he is always in the background. I guess this challenge will show it more.
I still to this day think Fresh Meat was the most unexpected, undetermined, and spontaneous challenge we have had. I mean even with The Island where the rules were given at different times, Fresh Meat was just crazy. I mean with Coral actually going home, Coral & Evan getting disqualified after dominating the entire game, Wes vs. The World, Tina working against Wes/then working together with him, Wes making the finals, Derrick & Diem screwing over Theo and Darrell, Darrell actually gets voted into an elimination round, etc. That whole challenge was edited and executed perfectly in my opinion. You cannot deny that the first Fresh Meat produced some of the greatest key players in challenge history.
I might be a little late responding to this but I think you make a really good point. Evan, Kenny, Wes, and Diem all made their challenge debut on Fresh Meat. Never in any of the challenges have I seen plans ruined like they were on Fresh Meat. I mean 90% of the house was against Austin and everything went as planned for the first two eliminations, but when Wes and Casey came back the third time they started to raise eye brows. Finally after coming back so many times teams did not want to face them...and a deal with Tina. Rivals I and II have seen rookie teams make the finals, but none that had a target on their back like Wes and Casey did from the start.

umm the Gauntlet with Sara?
I hate when people think that rivals was the first time rookies made it to the final, both duels a rookie girl came in second. Sarah made the final on the ruins, Janelle won the inferno 3 as a rookie. Jamie and Landon won the inferno 2 as rookies. Tori won the gauntlet 3 as a rookie. Emily made the final on Cutthroat. Rookies making the final ISN'T a new thing.
I know right the last 3 out of 4 challenges had Rookies going to the Finals... It's very normal for Rookies to go to the Finals.
Indeed. Rookies in the Final happens a lot but a rookie winning outside of Fresh Meat is super rare from the Inferno 3 era on. Besides the others already mentioned, I can only think of Gauntlet 3 having Rookies win because it was, well the Rookies team.
However, even most of those rookies had been on a previous Challenge. If I remember right Frank was on Battle of the Sexes 2, Jillian was on the Gauntlet 2, and Johanna was on Fresh Meat 1. Only Nehemiah and Rachel had never done a Challenge before.
EDIT: Was this Tori's first Challenge?
San Diego won Battle of the Seasons but that year it was set up for Rookies to win a Challenge with who was cast.

Tori was the only first timer on that team. Nehemiah did the Duel and Rachel did Inferno 3.

Ok, cool thanks. I completely forgot about Nehemiah being on the Duel.

Right. Wasn't it an "interesting fact" that for a while every challenge saw a Female from the previous RW season making it to the final?

I'm more surprised with Rivals, because they didn't really earn their spot, whereas every other rookie named did.

Yes they did. Mike/Leroy earned their spot by staying out of the jungle.

So Frank & Johnny earned there spot on rivals 2
