I'd be surprised if CT wasn't high priority for every challenge they cast. Rivals, Exes, and Rivals 2 were all the CT show. They seem to be in the routine of just bringing back the same people over and over, the only way we could see drastic differences is if the current people decline. It would be great to see a different group. Especially of older players.
Aside from CT, Johnny, and Aneesa, this challenge is a different group. The rest are from Sydney-Portland.
Aside from CT, Johnny, and Aneesa, this challenge is a different group. The rest are from Sydney-Portland.
Never noticed that. This is the first season since Gauntlet 2 with no RW Austin people, too.
Never noticed that. This is the first season since Gauntlet 2 with no RW Austin people, too.
And watch Danny pop up as one of the missing guys on this challenge.
And that's a good thing.
I don't mind this cast, but I would kill to see Susie, Veronica, Abe, Rachel, Darrell, etc.
Aside from CT, Johnny, and Aneesa, this challenge is a different group. The rest are from Sydney-Portland.
Camilla? Cara? Ty? Jonna? Jasmine? Frank and Zach will have done 3 straight Don't forget Paula dropped out because Tyler got booted. We don't even know the actual cast too.
I don't mind this cast, but I would kill to see Susie, Veronica, Abe, Rachel, Darrell, etc.
Rachel is weird for me. I'll really like her one season and hate her another season. Susie and Veronica do nothing for me either. We agree on guys though :playful: I would rather see Jenn, Ruthie, Coral, maybe even Tina again.
Camilla? Cara? Ty? Jonna? Jasmine? Frank and Zach will have done 3 straight Don't forget Paula dropped out because Tyler got booted. We don't even know the actual cast too.
That's because they are the new regulars. Abram, Tina, Coral, Brad, Derrick, etc... had their 5/6/7 in a row challenge seasons too. Time to move on.
That's because they are the new regulars. Abram, Tina, Coral, Brad, Derrick, etc... had their 5/6/7 in a row challenge seasons too. Time to move on.
that was my original point. they just cast regulars.
that was my original point. they just cast regulars.
Well the past 3 pair challenges had themes in which most of them had to have been on a show together to be paired up. So not much opportunities for a fresher cast. And most of the older ones were probably less likely to exploit their past relationships that they have moved on from. But on BOTSeasons, the only regulars were Wes, Sarah, Camila, Cara, and Brandon. Everyone else was practically fresh or haven't been on in a while. And on this challenge we have (or so we think) Isaac, Cohutta, Swift, Johnny R., Emilee, Nia, Jessica, Jordan, and Latoya. And as for the vets, we got a handful of new ones... Leroy, Chet, Theresa, Jonna, Laurel, Brandon etc...
Never noticed that. This is the first season since Gauntlet 2 with no RW Austin people, too.
Since Eric isn't on this season, won't it make this the first challenge since Gauntlet 2 to not feature anyone from Fresh Meat 1?
Since Eric isn't on this season, won't it make this the first challenge since Gauntlet 2 to not feature anyone from Fresh Meat 1?
yup
That's because they are the new regulars. Abram, Tina, Coral, Brad, Derrick, etc... had their 5/6/7 in a row challenge seasons too. Time to move on.
Abram: 4 in a row Tina: 2 in a row Coral: 3 in a row Brad: 3 in a row Derrick: 6 in a row So really only Derrick
I wish we could go back to years like 2006, where three challenges aired, and there was only a 2 month wait between seasons.
I wish they brought back Road Rules. Maybe Netflix will revive it.:welcoming:
Mark Long said they won't bring it back because all of the challenge viewers are the road rules viewers. They didn't bring in any new ones or have its own viewers like real world. He said something like that, I may have butcherd it though...
I wish they brought back Road Rules. Maybe Netflix will revive it.:welcoming:
I'd settle for the old seasons on netflix.
I have no idea why, but I am sticking to my gut feeling that Brad is at the challenge...no one ask me why but I just hope and think he is, especially since no one can figure out the official cast, just want to throw this out there haha

What if Randy and Brad are back :applouse:
I'd settle for the old seasons on netflix.
I know they have tried but Viacom wants some of their other poorly made shows to be part of a package deal with the Challenge, RW, and RR. NetFlix is refusing, with good reason, to pay a large sum of money for a few shows they want out of a dozen shows from MTV & VH1.

I love how Chet and Camila both just followed one person on IG. Unlike Nia and Emilee, who apparently didn't give a **** and have been liking and following people like crazy.
Thank god.
Don't worry, you'll always have FM2. ;)
I have no idea why, but I am sticking to my gut feeling that Brad is at the challenge...no one ask me why but I just hope and think he is, especially since no one can figure out the official cast, just want to throw this out there haha
To be honest with Real world san Francisco having format tweaks, I can see BMP doing the same for the challenge. He was brought into filming later, since Mold wrote there wasn't a replacement. or Brad didn't declined and was there from the start, maybe Tori was tweeting for him to confuse people...Tori did tweet about seeing her family with her little man, didn't mentioned Brad at all (Maybe he stayed home working, but who knows):
if its a Cutthroat sequel maybe they brought in Brad as one of the 'heavy hitters'
But Brad's last tweet was the 23rd. Like dayssssss after filming! Also, anyone excited for The Real World: Ex-plosion? I hope a major format twist comes with this challenge!

Amazon has really developed Prime Instant Video into a legitimate competitor to Netflix, especially considering that $80 a year gets you unlimited streaming and unlimited two day air shipping. Lots of stuff on Amazon that isn't on Netflix, like the challenges, duck dynasty, and a few others.

Both Hulu and Amazon are fighting for second place behind NetFlix. It is well known fact within those circles that they try to get on NetFlix first. If they cannot, then they go for either Hulu or Amazon Prime. NetFlix already looked at a deal from MTV for the Real World, Road Rules, and the Challenges but MTV refused to sell just those 3 shows as part of the package deal. They wanted 9 other (poorly made) reality shows lumped in with them for the deal so NetFlix turned them down.
