The Challenge: Free Agents - Love in the Fast Lane
In tonight's episode "Love in the Fast Lane", close friends fight after a night of celebration and a budding romance ends.
Who will go home tonight?
Assuming off of the title, this is going to be the car racing mission.
Going to be interesting to see how the voting dynamic goes when it's a pair(?) picking the elimination players instead of half the house voting.

Totally! I just wanna see how they are partnered up.

Same. If I remember correctly from the teaser, it looked like Dustin and Nany were in the same car, so if that is the case, I would guess it would be the Duel "pick your own partner" style.

There was a sneakpeak that revealed two more teams as well. Can't say I would've thought of those two paired up willingly but who knows

Oh, never saw. Maybe it's like the first mission, randomly selected people can pick partners or just random all together.

if you want to see.
I am more excited to see how the order for each team is going to be select it, every season the winning team of the prior mission select the order of everyone.
Hi, I'm just registered today and I'm pumped for tonights episode. I've been following Vevmo a couple of years and after watching years of the Challenge there's something I want to say:
Am I the only person who hates the "rookies have to pay their dues" excuse? It gives any contestant with the vet label a sense of entitlement; thiking that if their name comes up for possible elimination it's a freaking crime but if it's a rookie it all good, the rookies rarely stand up for themselves and kiss *** (which is why Battle of the Seasons 2 is my favorite season, loved the rookie revolution!), and it usually leads to the same people to the finals which makes it boring to watch. The reason I keep watching is because I hope for another BOTS2 where the rookies won't take the veterans BS.
I'm excited for this episode, lots of drama to expect.
I think the winning team, Nia's team, are choosing their partners right?
Ct > Emilee
Nia > Frank
Swift > Theresa
Nany > Dustin
The rest pick
Jordan
Laurel
Preston
Devyn
Bananas
Johnny
Jessica
Jasmine
Cohutta

Welcome. I joined a couple months ago myself.
You should listen to Jemmye's interview on the Bus Drivers Route and she kinda went over this. Throwing in the Rookies early makes sense because it's just an excuse to send people into the elimination.
Over time these guys become friends and while it makes sense to do a power move and throw in Camilla over Latoya on paper, these guys are friends and just throw someone in they met a couple days ago, instead of someone they've known for a couple years.

I understand making allies and easy choices, but that kind of strategy only makes sense for the vets because "rookies first" is an excuse so they can keep getting money. Besides who wants to go to the finals competing against players who had played the game 8-9 times? If you truly want to maximize your success you take out the stronger players early game so if you do manage to see yourself in a elimination round or the final challenge you don't have to worry about facing vets like CT, Bananas or Theresa.

Probably because most of the rookies are afraid that if they go against the people who are veterans who have other long-standing members of the show on their side then any rebellion by them will get them in trouble with the numbers.

They might as well go big since they start the game with targets on their backs.

Might as well go big since they start the game with targets on their backs so they pretty much have nothing to lose.

Nobody had the balls to go up against CT when he was a rookie. The same can be said about Laurel, Marlon and Jordan.

When CT was a rookie, they weren't treated any differently. Laurel was on Fresh Meat... there was a first-time Challenger on every single team. Marlon and Jordan were constant targets on Rivals 2.
Awww, looks like I probably won't be able to take part in the live chat with you guys, but I'll still be watching live. Fingers crossed for another great episode!

Nobody was willing to say that they weren't afraid of Marlon and Jordan. They tried to get rid of them because they thought of them as threats. Instead of picking Marlon and Jordan first they sent teams like Robb and Zach, Tyrie and Lolbar, Leroy and Ty.

This is true. However, at least one team voted for Jordan/Marlon every single round simply because they were rookies.

Maybe if Rivals 2 had stronger teams then I could see them choosing Jordan and Marlon first. I don't know, but I see it as the nature of the Challenge to send the rookies in first. I don't mind it, and if I were a rookie I would definitely expect my name to be called out first since I'm new. Get your feet wet and show people why they shouldn't mess with you (Latoya).

I'm not sure if it's true, but Jordan said that if the voting had gotten back to the guys, Jordan and Marlon would have been going in. Robb/Derek went in again because the girls already burned that bridge.
They probably should have gone in after that, but the girls messed up the voting.
Susie is on the after show?! Is she the host?!
Don't know if she is hosting or just a guest commentator but regardless im happy to see her on the tv screen!
