Keep in mind that they only re-use 7 cast members from Fresh Meat 1 and 7 from Fresh Meat 2.
Carley was going to be the exception on Battle of The seasons 2, but she wasn't able to leave the country as the last minute replacement so they went with Cara Maria. That's why Cara Maria Jersey had her name on a tape over Carley's name on her Jersey on the first episode of Battle of the seasons 2.

I know this is Brandon's thread, but I just want to remark upon the fact that it REALLY sucks that Carley couldn't make it on Seasons. I've been wanting to see her back since FM2. I loved her. I think she might not be so open to being on a Challenge anymore, sadly :( I could be mistaken, though.
Anyway, to me, Brandon is likable, but I do find him boring. He hasn't really had a significant story line on these things.
Brandon seems like a cool dude, but I honestly don't know why he still comes to these things. He really is not very good, bad partners or not, he is mediocre at best.
I really hate the "bad partners/teams" excuse. For proof that the excuse is bull**** just watch Wes on Fresh Meat and Landon on Fresh Meat II.

Or Emily on Exes (who had the same partner) and Derrick on Gauntlet 2... he's just not that good regardless of his partners/teams. And for someone who seems very well liked by the cast, he has no political/social game either. But I do hope he does something, win an elimination, get in top 5 of a challenge, make a power play political move, I'll even settle for a little romance or an altercation from him.

Chet is at least witty and funny, to me. Preston I am still baffled at. Not entertaining, not a competitor, not a political mastermind.
I don't mind Brandon or Chet being cast in this format. I don't think either is going to win but I think both could surprise someone depending on the elimination round. Now there's a lot of people I'd rather see (starting with Darrell) but Preston is really the only guy that has no business being on this seson
