Tonya tells me she was coached through it by production. Beth would have left the next day anyway, since she had a contract to be at Sundance which production new about before Beth agreed to do the challenge.

Beth didn't know that Tonya was being influenced by production and Tonya didn't know that Beth had to leave. We got together and worked out what happened during our "Sexiest Women of Reality TV" calendar photo shoot about two years later. Well, apparently they got her to throw Beth's clothes in the pool.

one of the draws of the Duel 3 is that if it happens, a lot of vets who haven't been on in a while would be willing to do it, and it would also be a very performance based with the best of the best competing. To have a Duel 3 with a bunch of rookies/newbies would be a huge disappointment.

Landon's only real rival might be Beth, but it relates to a business matter that had nothing to do with a challenge. Landon violated a contract with Beth's production company. She wanted to sue him. Her business partner talked her out of it.
