I didn't think it was bad either. A Duel doesn't have to be "best of the best."
It should be especially now with all the damn partner challenges. There are what three old school people which makes it a hell of a lot worse.

They aren't THAT many of them. It's mostly Rw'ers so it's good.
And it really doesn't matter if old-schoolers want a duel. That doesn't automatically mean they should be on it. Besides those old-schoolers probably already were on the first two seasons anyways and if not they were able to show what they were made of in another challenge. Honestly I think it would be really nice to see the current crop of challengers be on their own completly for once. That's more interesting to me than seeing tired *** old-schoolers compete for the umptenth time.

I don't even consider Cohutta and Kellyanne Old-school. I love Beth but she is tired and doesn't need to come on anymore. Same with Derrick. The guy has done 9 challenges and has done about all he is going to do on this show. No need for him to be on.

Frank wins this season without competition. Marlon & Leroy can't swim, CJ is unproven in finals and last tine he was on Abram was out of shape. The other guys are unproven
The challenge isn't all about swimming though. And yes CJ hasn't been a final but you can't just assume he'll suck in one and for all you know Abram is back in shape.
And with the others..well you can't assume they'll all be weak.

I agree but I do want Darrell back on one more time only because so he can redeem himself after the way he went out on his last 2 shows and I think he deserves a better ending to his challenge career than that.

I love Darrell. He is one of the few good and humble guys of the Challenge. Maybe he doesn't bring that much because he's much quieter than the usual loud D-Bags.

They were cool but There was an incident where Ty pushed Andrew over some stairs while he was drunk and he fell to the ground and hurt himself badly.
Yeah I remember that but Andrew was cool with Ty even after that. But this would be BMP/MTV we're talking about so a stretched pair wouldn't be a surprise.
