Where is the the information coming from saying that Tyler lasted 40 minutes against CT? Is it on Derrick's podcast? A daily? Was CT trying that hard to beat Tyler or just kind of maintaining a little bit of leverage?
They said it in the podcast, after show, and preview reunion. It was actually quite the opposite; Tyler wanted to continue to prove to the other people he was a good competitor so he didn't stop after the 19 second mark.
CT was trying to beat Tyler, but I don't think he gave it his all to be honest. If you looked at his facial expression right before and during the thing, he looked pretty calm.
Against Johnny it was a completely different story. I'm pretty sure he hates Bananas and in the daily when they were strapping up there was no trace of a smile. All i saw on his face was a rage that was about to unleashed and a person who would accept nothing less than complete and utter destruction of his opponent. It was personal with Johnny and against Tyler he really didn't care. At least that what i got from watching the clip.
Ugh, Tori is soooo unbearable. Oh noes!!! A bloody nose! She made it sound like she broke something the way she was crying for help. Did you guys see Derrick's face after the challenge? It was completely effed up. THAT actually looked painful.
I think the entire cast (except Emily and Derrick, and maaaaybe Tyler) are annoying the HECK out of me. I'm really annoyed that Emily stepped up again--she really didn't need to, and I wish Jenn would take her turn.
My list has shriveled to:
Derrick
Emily
Jenn
Tyler (though after seeing how he acted at the reunion, not too sure)
Paula (actually feeling bad for her)
And I shift between the grey girls. Sarah usually makes me mad, for some reason I don't mind Laurel, and I like Cara Maria and love seeing her because she has such a pretty face:o
Out of who's left I like all of Blue, Tyler, Abram, occasionally have sympathy for Paula b/c I used to be a fan of hers, and flip flop between Cara and Laurel from day to day (I like Cara more as a human being, but I think it's hard for me to be anti-Laurel when she is playing to win which, as it's a GAME, you should do). I'm indifferent to Sarah and don't care for Luke. So I pretty much don't like Dunbar Brad and Tori.
I also don't really care about anyone who got eliminated besides Johnny and Dan (and Emilee based on aesthetic appeal)

That sounds about right. I just have a hard time believing it would take CT (who pulverized Johnny in a matter of seconds) 40 minutes to draw with Tyler. I sound like a homer here, but I think CT could have beat him pretty quickly as well if he really wanted to. I'm sure having Tyler last as long as he did just made Johnny look that much weaker.
Ugh. I really wish Brad just didn't do this challenge since he bugs the **** out of me this time around.
So because he stepped up in against Abe, he shouldn't have to go into the Gulag? So basically had Tyler stepped up, he wouldn't have gone it? Bull. Tyler would have done a Gulag with CT, then do the one on one with Abe, and then go into the Gulag again.
I can't believe Tyler and Dunbar are two of the more tolerable people this season.
Oh and since it can't be said enough, SHUT UP LAUREL. Though I'd like to say that to the entire Grey team at this point.
Also LOL at Johnny... yikes. At least he could kinda laugh about it but probably not as much as I did. Here's hoping Emily destroys Paula. Paula is, quite frankly, a moron. Did she really think they were going to send Tori in over her? Paula had yet to be in a Gulag and Tori just went. Granted, it should have been Brad and Paula but oh well.
Brad is a horrible athelete and a horrible competitor! He's always been claiming to be a big dog, and is basically a coward. This episode proved what I've been saying for years... It was hilarious hearing his rational towards Tyler and Paula....... just as hilarious to here 749384 reasons of bull to stay out of a gulag.
He was supposed to be Red's best chance to win against the grey given Tyler had an epic gulag vs CT and Dunbar was injured...he's weak anyways, but Brad had no confidence in himself.
As for CT vs Johnny, as bad as Johnny looked, and he looked bad...this should give further indicatgion to you all just how lousy of a competitor Dunbar really is. I still remember Ragdoll from the Ruins and Dunbar was tossed around like a sack of potatoes vs Johnny. Never cared for Johnny, but the 2 people who need to keep their mouths shut are Brad and Dunbar. Brad looked just as bad in Push Me, which I think broke his competitive confidence. That duel was the starting point for the person you see today...one that refers to lies and shortcuts to win
Tori is annoying, and she makes me sick to some extent, but she is a great competitor when she has to be, which forces me to believe that she'd smoke Laurel if it was all on the line. Laurel's mouth is her demise. She has a poor attitude and doesn't think with logic.

I really only like Emily so I guess I'm rooting for the blue team. It'd be pretty cool if Emily could win as a rookie. Plus I guess Jenn's due for a win. Derrick I don't care about.
Anybody else think Tina purposely went easier on Tori than Theresa? Yes, Tina was tired out from Theresa but the way Tina looked against Tori seemed like she wanted Theresa to lose. Theresa even said that in her interview when leaving.
Wont say much just touch on the CM/Laurel thing, someone said (I think it was cryssy) who said Cara is always worrying about what people say. Well tell me this, if you are locked in a house that you can't leave and have to hear about that for a month you'd get pretty annoyed too. As for Laurel, I get her but her "ive been there before" attitude is annoying as ****, yes you got to the FM2 final so? Katie has won a Challenge, does that make her a queen B? Yes Laurel is a great competitor but jeez be a little bit humble. As for Sarah? I dont even wanna get into the endless Sarah only beat so and so, or she's a wonderful human being debate so I'll leave it at that.
Good episode though, loved the visual of Derrick telling the red team to basically "Bring it on", as for the person that said he should've quit since he was going into a Gulag...its Derrick the guy doesn't quit no matte the odds, plus according to his twitter he loved that mission.
I think Tori grew up reading books with lots of pictures in them... I'll just leave it at that.
Seeing how everything played out, I really wish that it was Brad/Johnny vs. CT in that last Gulag. CT would've smashed Brad worse than he did Johnny and gotten him off the show, plus he still could've embarrassed Johnny too by beating him easily and giving him a reality check.
That way, ****** bag Brad is gone and we don't have to listen to his backwards voting logic and Derrick still has a teammate on his team instead of being all by himself in that Riot Shield challenge. I would like Derrick & Johnny's odds going up against Dunbar/Tyler and Abram/Luke. I just love watching Derrick compete & he was at a total disadvantage being by himself in there and I don't like his odds going up against Tyler in Pole Me Over because of the weight disadvantage. That kid goes 150% all the time and ducks nobody and gets the ****** end of the stick and you have some low tier coward like Brad snake his way all the way to the end with the exact opposite strategy and philosophy for playing the game.
I definitely think CT turned up gears going against Johnny. That's the only flaw in the Heavy Hitter thing, CT and Tina could pick & choose who they wanted to win.
Is it me or brad has sorta been exposed in this challenge? In previous ones, on camera he looked like a nice guy but of course that doesn't always tell the story. Supposedly he was a snake in the grass like Evan and made shady moves behind the camera. But in cutthroat, with the format of the game, its impossible to hide that. I don't care how many dallies show him saying he wants to go into the gulag, the fact of the matter was he made every move possible to stay out of the gulag because he was afraid of it like the black plague.
Also, as a competitor i think he really got exposed. He's got a nice resume finishing 2nd in both duels, but at as everyone knows, that doesn't always tell the story. He hasn't shined at all on any of the challenges and the riot act really sealed it for me. He was scared to go against Abram in a 1 on 1. And it's not like brad was going against someone who outweighted him by like 50 pounds. That to me was the final proof that brad isn't as great as he's made out to be.
I agree with the post above. I also feel like he was put into a position as Team Leader being the oldest vet on the team, and he was not prepared for that. His team had no set plan besides send Camila & Brandon in everytime. I wish that Tori & Brad hadn't anchored this team because we would have seen a completely different output.
What else baffles me is how bad of a team Shauvon put together. When you look at gray's males besides Abram the rest are average as hell (Vinny, JD, Luke & Dan), but it also allowed everyone to basically play fair since they weren't stacked with vets, but it's weird that 3 Fresh Meaters made it to the end on their second challenge all being on the same team.

I think had Chet not gotten injured and removed from the show, the outcome would have been slighty different. Heck Chet could have faced CT or it would have been down to Chet and Brad for the final Gulag, and then Chet would have been going in...
As far as the Shauvon team thing Look at the Males are the other teams when compared to Gray guys:
Red: None are on Abrams level except maybe Brad/Brandon, Then Tyler/Dunbar middish (=Luke/Dan), then Chet is about s useful as Vinny
Blue: Derrick=Abram, Derek=JD, Eric/Ty=Vinny, Johnny=Luke/Dan
So yeah, in terms of guys gray wasnt that outshined. Hope this made some sense
Oh and I agree the 3 Fresh Meat thing is weird
I think the main reason why I sympathize with Paula is cause of what Tori did. She's like "oh i really want you [Paula & Brad] to win" and considered going home just so that could happen. NOW she's sending Paula into the Gulag? Yeah, Tori I can tell you REALLY want Paula to win. (not to mention that Tori is still on her team, so she's still the "weakness" to her team that she was before in her opinion)

As far as missions go, no Red male has stood out. The Red team has underperformed every mission except of course the two missions they won and I have to say it's not because of how well their team members did but how poorly certain members of the other teams did (like Ty in the obstacle course mission.)
The MVPs have been Derrick and Abram. Abram for his leadership and carrying the Gray team and Derrick for stepping up multiple times and never messing up. Next I'd say is Johnny for doing well sometimes and Brandon and Tyler for their gulags. Other then those 5, I'd say no male has done anything worth mentioning.

I don't think that Shavoun put together a bad team. I think Gray was the best team.

Pretty true for the most part. That's also a reason as to why Brandon may have kept going in since at least after the first two to my knowledge, the last 2 he was sent in to were ones that he underperformed in.

Didn't matter how he performed, they were sending him in regardless. They weren't going to switch things up. I hate to be the one to break it to you. He was the outsider, and playing fair was not part of their game plan.
Laurel is older than Ev. Ev is 23 now. Laurel was 24 at the time FM2 was taped, ~13 months ago. Ev just seems older because she's been doing this since she was 18.

I actually meant "younger" as in mini. (Didn't know Laurel was older though), but Ev obviously is stronger and has more experience than Laurel, but I see Laurel as the mini, upcoming version of EV. (Sorry for the ambiguity).
First time in a long time that I acutally really enjoyed watching an episode of the RW/RR Challenge. Since the stupid FM series started I say there were only a couple episodes on both Duels, Gauntlet 3, and Ruins that I liked, but yesterday's "Cut Throat" episode took the cake. I mean we saw the legend CT just humiliate Johnny "Bananas" and hopefully embarrassed him so bad that he will never return to another challenge. Now CT needs to do that to Evan and Kenny so they too can stay home with "Bananas" and never return to another challenge lol. Also finally we saw some action on why this challenge is called "Cut Throat." So many arguments between the red and gray team members really made for some good entertainment, and speaking of good entertainment how good was that mission? Of course the two ****** Road Rulers, Derrick and Abram stole the show there. I wish Abram went up against Derrick instead of B-Rad because "Big D" would've put up a bigger fight. Lastly enough with all the bad talk on Brad. He has finally taken his game to new heights on this challenge and isn't playing the Mr.Nice guy role. He has already paid his dues on these games and I can't wait to see him win his first ever challenge next week (Hopefully!). It's been long overdue my friend.
It's amazing how contradictory those statements are. You want Evan and Kenny to be embarrassed for playing a certain way, and praise Brad for playing the same way? All in the same post???? I don't get it. Plus Brad is < Evan and Kenny IMO. He's playing the game a lot scummier while Evan and Kenny don't play AS hypocritical IMO, but play their game better.

I understand that, but if you live the whole month complaining, you're doing harm to yourself and making yourself look mentally weaker than you already looked before. I understand Cara being upset, but every episode, and most dailies she complain about it. You cannot change the person, so change your attitude to it. I think Cara's a sweetheart, but she needs to develop a bit tougher skin, and be like how she was in the after show. "Then I guess I'm worth 14,000 dollars" - Now that was great. By the way, I don't think Laurel is THAT proud. I usually understand where she is coming from and why she says what she says. I think she is confident, sometimes overconfident and proud, but I won't say she's that proud. Plus, she learnt from Kenny anyway.
I don't think that Shavoun put together a bad team. I think Gray was the best team.
I agree. At first, it looked like a bad team, but based on how many challenges they won, obviously they weren't as bad as people thought. I think they were pretty good actually.
I don't think that Shavoun put together a bad team. I think Gray was the best team.
I agree. I thought that they would be a bunch of misfits at first, but they have won the most missions and Abram has done a good job leading them. Aside from the Laurel/Sarah vs. Abram/Cara Maria/Luke feud, they aren't that bad.
None of the 3 girls made smart picks rick off the bat. I hadn't seen the first episode until recently and I figure "oh they probably picked Brad, Abram, and Derrick first." What did they do? Dunbar, Vinny, and Johnny...yeah I don't get it

I truly believe that had Abram and Derrick ended up on the same team instead of Derrick and Johnny, this game would be so much different.

I think that Johnny's been better than Brad this challenge. I think Abram and Derrick have been 1/2 in some order and then Johnny, then Tyler, THEN Brad. I said on another thread had Camila picked Johnny first the Red Team would've been LOADED. They would've taken Laurel instead of Tori and then had probably either Derrick or Abram available to them and probably Emily as their second girl pick. And that's without knowing how good Camila would be. Johnny/Laurel/Derrick/Emily as as first four would probably not lose a challenge.
I noticed that when Brad has a rematch against the two people who have beaten him, he can't get it together and loses again. Derrick beat him in G2 in a gauntlet and in the final round of one of the missions on D1. Then Abram who beat him in I2 beats him in the final round of this episode's mission.

Ooooh, that would have been quite interesting, but people would still be pissed because Derrick and Johnny might have won again, then we would probably not have seen that Johnny/CT elimination that goes down into the best challenge moments ever. :P
I'd have probably still like to see that team though. Talk about a powerhouse.
