Brad in his confessional: I really wanted to step up and go into the Gulags but Tori wouldn't let me. Brad in the voting room: Brandon, you're going in everytime. Brad in the voting room later in the season: Tyler, you volunteered but you would've gone in anyways, and you'll probably go in next time, too. (He's so annoying this season.)
I wish they would've shown Abe's reaction to CT and Tina. I don't think they even showed Abe close up when CT and Tina walked in.
People reacted the same way when the guys "trimmed the fat" on Gauntlet 3. Lots of fans can't stand them now because of it. I know where Laurel's coming from, and I was on her side when Abram rattled off that excuse to save CM (that actually made me sympathize with her - why Abram?). But throwing a mission would not be in her best interest, nor is forever completely fuming about what happened. Just keep it in mind and use it for the future voting. Spin the situation into your favor. Plus CM doesn't deserve the attitude towards her that much.
That was one of the worst things about G3, watching the guys act like *******s and toss Coral under the bus. I agree and I don't think Cara Maria deserves the heat she's getting and if anything, Laurel should have been on Ayiiia's *** in the beginning and not Cara Maria's. Strategically, it would have been in Laurel's best interest to throw the mission, then she, Sarah and Luke would have been able to vote Cara Maria into this gulag against Tina. Granted, I can see Cara Maria beating Tina easily, but Laurel & Sarah are thinking ahead to the final and who they trust to back them up, as well as dividing the money up at the end. Nobody else on the grey team is thinking strategy except Laurel & Sarah, while the blue team is and well, the red team's just everywhere and nowhere at once. Abram's not thinking like a leader on this one.
I wish they would've shown Abe's reaction to CT and Tina. I don't think they even showed Abe close up when CT and Tina walked in.
For real, especially since he said it was one of his favorite moments ever. Plus he has a longer history with them than the others on the show. They could have shown him instead of, say, CM, who I would guess probably doesn't really know much about them, considering she didn't know about Abram before the show (though she looked super shocked). llcooljonas, I don't think Luke would have voted for CM if Laurel and Sarah threw the challenge. He seemed to agree with Abram on the "prove yourself" thing. Laurel mentioned something about him wanting to vote fairly, so I think it would have been best for them to try to get Luke to see that voting on overall performance and experience was fair at this point.
Can anyone find the Cutthroat Confessional on mtv.com? I can't seem to find it.
It's up now. Click on the picture link instead of looking for the link in the videos. I had to refresh the screen once after I clicked on the link, but it came up. Warning, though - it sounds like Derrick jumps the gun when mentioning the CT and John gulag.
Watching CT completely dominate these two scrubs in a gulag is going to be awesome. This is the only time this season I've been excited to watch the show. I'm ****** they left this week's episode on a "to be continued..." Like someone said earlier, it's a huge disadvantage to have to go first, even against someone as powerful as CT so I'd bet that Johnny goes home. I don't have a beef with them getting Tina. Sure, there are better competitors, but there just isn't a female equivalent to CT. For the record the two people who talk the most *** without backing it up are Coral and Wes. Tori is a huge nanner. She's annoying too. Brad was right when he told her to stop talking to him like he was a 5 year old. She was annoying on the Duel 2 as well. Why would anyone want to marry a girl like that? Maybe Brad enjoys having his "balls in her purse" as he put it. I guess there's a redeeming side to her that we don't see on these shows. Laurel and Sara... who cares. Both of you are nobodys. I'm not so sure Cara Marie wouldn't take Sarah out in an elimination round. Cara Marie does seem very fragile mentally though. Imagine if the next challenge is loaded with the big guns and every elimination round was enjoyable. MTV, please make it happen. Especially if it is the last season of the challenge. I'd like to be excited everytime there's a duel/inferno/gauntlet, etc. instead of just thinking to myself "Wow, who cares, these guys both suck".
Personally... I think they picked Tina because they had to. If CT got to come back, in any way, after what he did.. Tina would need to be able to do the same. It's probably just a legal situation.
To be honest, I think they picked her for two reasons. 1. Shock factor. It's been a few years now since Tina appeared on the Challenge, most of us probably assumed she was done with them. 2. Boston. They could fly them both out simultaneously.
The quickly abandoned plot to throw the challenge shows how emotionally driven and irrational Laurel is, and how much of a follower Sarah is. I want to like Sarah, but she seems most comfortable when she is somebody's lackey. Those looked like some sweet elbows to the kidneys thrown by Theresa in the Gulag.
Okay I do think that Laurel and Sarah are being kinda unfair to Cara Marie. I mean sure Larurel and Sarah are better competitors than Cara Marie but it's not like she's Casey. C.T and Tina-I gotta say that I'ts cool that they brought them back for a little twist. It's nice to see these challenges get shaken up every once in a while. One thing I like about this episode is how they were showing clips of past challenges. They showed The Duel 1 and 2, and the Gauntlet 3. They've also did this a few times On Fresh Meat 2. It's nice to get a glimpse of older seasons and I hope BMP continues to do that for the next challenge. And Honestly I'm Hoping that Tori Loses. I'm really turned off by her this challenge. Plus she just admited that she isn't a good runner and ususally the final challenges require some long running distances so I think the rest of the team should take that into account ESPECIALLY Brad and Paula(who by the way didnt' look so bad this episode) And Brad is so full of **** there is NO WAY Brad was EVER going to vote himself into a gulag. Not as long as the other guys were there. Loved the Tyler and Abram moment. Also does anyone else hate when they to "To Be Continued" ?

Furthermore, Sara is obviously a somebody and Laurel is obviously a somebody. Sarah would do very well in a one on one just like she has done in the past. Sarah is one of the best girls on this challenge.

She honestly doesn't seem like anything more than average, which is disappointing considering her Meet the Meat trial scores. As for Laurel and Sarah, they're both extremely competitive and are actually thinking about the endgame. As far as they've (and tbh, what I've) seen, Cara Maria barely pulls her weight. I'm not saying that she will drag them down in the final, it just looks like she's the one most likely to. Plus, Laurel at least has some pretty impressive credentials to her name (although she is NOT the goddess she thinks she is), and Sarah is no slouch either.
Honestly, I cant stand Sara or Laurel. Sara seems so fake and always seems like she follows stronger players. As for Laurel, she did well on FM2 but that was her first challenge and she didn't even win. I can't stand her cocky attitude and always acting like a child. She wasn't impressive on any of the challenges on this season until today's so I completely see where Abe is coming from. I was excited to see CT come back, however, I think that Tina was a bit of a disappointment. I understand the whole being kicked off for fighting thing but honestly there's a lot better competitors than Tina out there.
Oh and HOW can I forget the look on John's face when C.T came out? I am PRAYING TO GOD that John loses. It will be one of the best moments of this challenge for me. Oh and what the **** was that long *** commercial break for?

Sarah is a strong competitor who likes to align herself with other strong players. Most important, Sarah is a wonderful human being. Laurel may have her crazy moments, but competitively she pulls through just as Sarah does. That's not to say that competitively they're perfect, but they're very good nonetheless.

People keep mentioning the **** Meet the Meat trials but honestly..have any of the things they did in the trials been at all used in this Challenge? Apart from maybe running? Plus that was what over a year ago? Look at Abe he said he sucked at basketball but made more baskets than Derrick did on the last Challenge. Those trials mean squat in this Challenge.
I'm sorry but if you lose to Teresa, you suck. "I'm here for pride." No, you're probably there for money and because Ev wasn't available. Either way having both people face the same person is unfair. Rest or not the second player has a huge advantage.
Why do people assume Theresa is a weak competitor? Yea, she hasn't proven herself on these shows, but she hasn't done horrible either.

That's not to say that competitively they're perfect, but they're very good nonetheless.
I think most of us get by now that Sarah is wonderful human being in your opinion because you've said it multiple times. I can completely understand why they want to get rid of Cara Maria because she hasn't "proved" anything really on this challenge, but other than that one challenge with swimming, I'd really like to know what Sarah has "proved" (I personally feel as if a win against Johanna and Katie is not showing that she is a great competitor because those two are lackluster competitors to begin with). In my opinion her and Cara Maria are in the same boat. Although I think Sarah should be sent into the Gulag before CM because CM has already been in one.
Sarah has the Kenny factor with her, Laurel and her are part of the huge JEK alliance that spans many people. Abram has said Sarah is below average to good not great and well he has front row seat to her on Challenges while we get an edit. Saw the CT/Tina return highlight (wont see full ep till tommorow) I'm quite ****** now I read spoilers, or **** that MTV showed it before hand would've been awesome that they hadn't bigger surprise but I get why they did it.. CT equals some ratings (I hope) so they had to promote it.
Funny.. Johnny hates the Fresh Meat kids as much you do.
Really? are you serious? That's kinda odd considering he's buddy buddy with 2 of them.
Yup..listen to Derrick and Kenny's podcast with him as guest.
Really? are you serious? That's kinda odd considering he's buddy buddy with 2 of them.
1, he really doesn't like Evan that much.

Rest or not the second player has a huge advantage.
They are heavy HITTERS for a reason. I really don't think the producers even asked Ev. Teresa is bigger than Tina. I also really think Tina didn't know she could knock her can down. She looked defensive all the way.

I'm not sure when Abe said this about Sarah but many other people from the challenges seem to agree that Sarah is one of the stronger girls. I've also seen how competitive Sarah is and she no slouch to say the least.
I mentioned those trials as a reason why people's expectations of Cara Maria were high. No, none of them have actually been used in the exact format they were, but they're supposed to be a general marker of physical fitness and athletic ability (and a teeny tiny bit of problem-solving capability). In general, the people who did better in the trials perform better as challengers.
I am pretty sure on formspring he said sarah was average to good. But, he also said that he thought she was overestimated the entire challenge. But, competitor wise he didn't see what she did on the ruins. And of course his opinion as Cara as a competitor is biased. I mean finally we hear last night him saying last night Laurel was good. But, whatever...its a game and of course people are going to talk smack about each other. Otherwise, this show be VERY boring. Johnny did say he hated FM people on a podcast..but I think he was referring to the FM 2 people. He said they were good for nothing.
Johnny did say he hated FM people on a podcast..but I think he was referring to the FM 2 people. He said they were good for nothing.
***? how many of them has he competed with? I would love for Noor or Pete to kick his ***.
1, he really doesn't like Evan that much.
Really? Wow I didn't know that. I'm thinking all 3 of them were super close friends. John just went up a little bit in my book.
Tori looked like she **** her pants when she saw Tina. LOL But also, Tina? Really? I know she "punched" Beth but I can think of a dozen-plus more fierce female competitors from these shows than her. She's such a wannabe. Oh and I wish Laurel didn't suck so much, because she is totally right about Cara Maria and Abe, but she ruins it by being a gigantic *****.
