You sentence says that CT ripped the flag off the ring that held it to the carabiner...so the flag seperated from carabiner which is a DQ no matter how you look at it. He lost.
Yeah he definitely lost, see if it had been Brad who did that CT would be crying DQ. It was clear he got too aggressive and ended up making a mistake.

Yes. CT is one of those people who is okay with seeing stuff happen to other people and calling them out for it, but not when it happens to himself.
Ruthie vs. Beth was a good elimination round as well. It was so emotional seeing Ruthie lose.

I don't remember that one, what happened?
I wish I had a picture of what they showed on TV from the Duel as to how the flag was hooked on, then you'd better understand what I'm talking about. There was a little ring that was looped through the little loophole in the flag. It was used to shorten up the slack in the string to keep the flag flat on the ground so that there wouldn't be a lot of slack; thus causing the flag to blow around all over the place on the end of the string. CT grabbed that ring and crushed it, that's what caused him to fall backwards right away. By crushing the ring, he let out all the slack in the string and that's what caused him to fall backwards off balance. The ********** was still clipped to the hook in the ground, and he got up after falling back and unclipped it. If somebody could get a screencap or something of the way it was hooked on, it'd be easier to explain.

Well, Ruthie was the team captain and of course almost everyone on the Vets team wanted Beth so they threw her in there against Ruthie. It was Reverse Tug Of War, and basically if you had the size advantage you would win. Ruthie fought really hard, but Beth won and then the Vets got worried. I guess it was just the fact that Ruthie is a fighter and she got sent home.

Why is this an argument? He lost, it's over, moot point.

I don't know and I agree. He feels that CT didn't really lose. Back on topic.
AYanna's elimination on Battle of the Sexes 2 had to be the funniest thing I have ever seen.
Yeah it goes down in the books as a loss but I just thought it was ridiculous that some of you people seem to think Beth got shafted worse than CT did in his loss. When Beth lost, she had the flag in her hand and the ********** was still hooked in the ground. When CT lost, he had the flag in his hand with the ********** still connected to the flag. So, you tell me whose loss was more ridiculous?

doesnt really matter they both lost...

A good example would be CT calling Tina an idiot for punching Beth and getting sent home when in the next challenge he got sent home for the same thing.
ETA: ooo even though they weren't truly spectular I liked Theo vs Tina (FM), Darrell vs Derrick (FM), Coral vs Beth (GIII) only because it was one of the few times that they (Coral, Theo, Darrell) were in jeopardy of going home.
That Coral/Beth gauntlet was hard to watch. Coral was gassed after the first run and was pretty much walking to the ball and STILL beat Beth. Absolutely pathetic & unimpressive showing by both.

I actually enjoyed that one as you never really get to see them go at each other that much and might never again so it was a pretty good match up. Plus Coral got to stay, even if it was for a little while.

Ever the hater... yawn. Not welcome at that other place today or are you just slumming?
I know that you are aware that Coral and Beth discussed which one should win and which should lose. BMP was aware in advance that Beth would be going home. It was a subject of discussion with Jusin Booth the morning of their Gauntlet.
If you didn't like the way it was edited, that is fair enough. I'd agree. They didn't show Beth on top of Coral on the ground asking if she was still OK with staying. Beth helping Coral up and brushing the sand from her face after tackling her out and going out of bounds so they had to start over (there was a lot of that). They didn't show the best parts of what Jillian, Johanna and other cast (including your buddie) called the best challenge theater they had seen.

Hahah, I agree. Everything that was entertaining was bad to him.
May I ask why they kept Coral instead?
I had read that a lot of people don't understand that she has good relationship with people like Coral and Aneesa who people seem to think that she has problems with. Even if it was fake, for people at home I think it was a dream Gauntlet.

Certainly was a nice match up and even it it was a little preplanned involved I still liked to see it play out. Alot of them are edited too because some take a long time and MTV edits it down to a couple minutes. Guess they wanted to keep Coral around for a nice slice of drama.
As is the case with everything that involves Beth, everything she does is planned ahead of time, phony, and premeditated so that she can get camera time. It's supposed to be reality TV, not a rehearsed soap opera. That's why people like Beth & Tonya have no place on these shows. They aren't interesting people just being themselves so they have to resort to premeditating their actions.

Beth didn't premeditate. V1 even said someone from production sat them down and they talked about who would stay there. Beth didn't do it. They have no place on these shows? Yeah thats why both of them put together have caused more drama than anyone. I bet Beth premeditated that Tonya would throw all her clothes in the pool? But CT is interesting on these shows because why? He gets drunk and decides to be overly rude?
Tonya and Shavonda on Inferno 2 was a funny elimination for me. Shavonda is sitting there wasting her breath by yelling at Tonya, when she gave up, and then must have felt bad afterwards for talking all that crap.
They aren't interesting people just being themselves so they have to resort to premeditating their actions.
Do you know Beth or Tonya in person? If not, I believe that you have no credibility when it comes to judging whether they are interesting people or not.
The end.

You are dissing them for doing what MTV hired them to do...Why??
You are dissing them for doing what MTV hired them to do...Why??
Exactly. They are doing what hey need to do for these shows, while CT, is doing what for these shows? Being extremely hurtful to people, getting drunk, physically abusing others. No, so you making judgements by people that you don't know should stop.

Actually, on another board under a different name, Masshole claims to be a family friend of CT, knows his brother, etc... Whatever relationship he may have with CT is clouded by the fact the he always lays claim to the dark side of CT's personality and actions. Unfortunately, whatever relationship he may have or may have once had with CT is dated. At the MTV RW Awards Bash, CT came alone and spent most of the evening hanging around Beth and her fiance, Matt. My thinking is that Masshole didn't get the memo from the CT camp that would have updated his talking points.
Yeah Beth talks a lot but how much of it is true & how much of it does she back up? If she was really that much stronger than Svet, she would've blown her away right from the start like CT did to Brad. That's what you should do in a game like Push Me where you have a big weight and strength advantage. Beth was struggling against Svet, even when she did try to push on the pole, she wasn't moving it that much. Go back and watch the end of CT & Brad's duel when CT gets up off the ground. He has the flag in his hand with the string and ********** totally intact. He didn't rip the ********** off, he ripped the little ring that was holding the flag to the **********.
You are so clueless, it's embarrassing.
Svetlana was part of an alliance with Beth until she decided to make a power play on her own. Beth was not going to expend a lot of energy against her in their duel because she judged herself in far better shape than Svetlana in a contest in which Beth held a clear strength, mass and experience advantage. Not expending energy unnecessarily in any competition was part of Beth's strategy going in to the challenge. What you didn't see was Svetlana walking off the competition area in tears and frustration because she could not move herself forward or beth further away from the flag. Beth was in the process of unclipping the carabiner when Svetlana ran back on the platform are and threw herself into the pole. Beth was extended over the pole to unattach the carabiner. Her hand was pulled away from the carabiner but she still held the flag and it separated from the carabiner. There was about a 15 minute discussion that took place among the producers and TJ, during which time the cameras kept rolling on Beth as they hoped for some outburst from her. They didn't get one. They also hoped for some big reaction from her when TJ announced Svetlana as the winner. Again, they didn't get on. Certainly, many were happy to see Beth go home because she was 1) not in their alliance, or 2) someone they would not wish to face later. She left smiling and laughing after a short conversation on the platform with Wes. Everyone, including Svetlana, knew it was a BS call by production. Those are the facts.
I find it laughable, as does CT, that people like Beth and Tonya take their reality TV "stardom" so seriously. They think that just because they were on Real World that they're some sort of huge A-list celebrity.
They do?
I'm clueless as to why, even after repeated tries to get back on topic, that this has turned from the Best Elimination Ever thread into the repeatedly bash someones character thread. Everyone is entitled to not like anyone they choose but this isn't the thread to highlight it in.

LoL. Yeah, I think it needs it's own thread. But back to the topic, the Beth vs Ruthie gauntlet was pretty good. :)

It was good because it was one of those Gauntlets you could get into, Ruthie was trying so hard and it was just hopeless. Same with the Derrick/Timmy Gauntlet but more so since Derrick was this close to getting to the last mission and he fell short.

That was a really cool Gauntlet, but also really sad. He worked really hard to get there and at the last male gauntlet day he was eliminated. I felt really bad for him.

Derrick had worked hard the entire challenge and then the last one he came up just short. It just wasn't his game against Timmy and it added to his challenge losing streak but hey we all know he did win eventually :D

I wonder why they didn't go by them rules in the Gauntlet 3? You know, where the captain of the losing team goes in.
I wonder why they didn't go by them rules in the Gauntlet 3? You know, where the captain of the losing team goes in.
I guess they wanted to be fresh and think of some new rules to fit the challenge. Plus anyone could have gone in and not just the captain but I did like that on G2.

I liked that rule too. it was much more dramatic than sending in anybody of the teams' choice.
I have to admit, I think one of the funniest Jeremy in the first Inferno and Ace quit after like a second.

Yeah, and then the same thing happened to him again on Fresh Meat. On the Inferno 3, he finally broke the curse of going home at the end, but it seems as if the curse was passed on to Aneesa.
Ace gave up after spending about 11 secondss under that bug helmet. His team was really disappointed in him, even Coral. As he was packing his bags, Coral was trying to figure out why did he come if he didn;t really want to be there
