Also, Frank was completely right about Camilla putting on a show for the cameras screaming that she's going home yeah right she's not going to pass up the chance to win $250,000 she wanted Brandon or someone to go after her to stop her from leaving it was all an act in my opinion.
Agreed, although she's grown on me.
Cara Maria: I've also had about enough of you. "Camila you don't want to be here, I shouldn't have to go in" -___-.. Well how bout Camila pull a Coral G3 and leave before the Arena, thus still causing you to go in?? Go ride a horse. Did Sam get eliminated?
Ehh I'd say the same thing, she and lots of people are serious about the challenges and saying you wanna go home aren't words that they'd ever say so when they hear someone say it obviously that person seems less deserving to be there. There were lots of people not shown because it's so early and there are still so many people, it's only an hour long show y'all, you'll get to know the ones that stick around later.
Oh and is it just me or does Brandon always seem to get the crap end of the stick when it comes to teams? He's like the male Sarah. Katelynn, Cutthroat Red Team, Pre-Exes Ty, now this?! They gotta get this guy on a Duel or at least a big team challenge like Ruins or Gauntlet. ORRRR he should hook up with Laurel or make an enemy out of CT!
Yup my thoughts exactly, it's a tad pitiful. He seems like a chill dude. I'd LOVE a duel or even a situation where there are two big teams but they are scored individually so the person not pulling their own weight still is in the hot seat. Side notes -Did someone say something about McKenzie havin scars on her face? How did I miss that? -Big Easy and Devyn is interesting to say the least, kinda just perplexing cause they're so random. Alton and Sarah is genuine, but as for the drama about Sarah and the Vegas team, meh. I could for sure do without all that. At least Trishelle ate her words at the end.

I gotta say I'm glad that Camila is now stuck with Eric...she's not gonna get very far with him and I don't want her anywhere NEAR the final considering she won the last challenge (and she's a non-castmember). I really think that it wasn't smart for Alton to push for New Orleans to go in. New Orleans is in their alliance and it would've been really dumb for Vegas to turn on their alliance at a point when they don't have to. He should've pushed for St Thomas to go because really they're the only team that's not really aligned with anyone and noone would really get all that mad. Alton needs to understand that alliances are now apart of the game and nobody is gonna want to go up against a strong, solid team at the end. Trishelle...she was definitely wrong about Sarah. But I think she was right in that her relationship with Alton is influencing him...but she should've looked at that as a advantage rather than a liability. I'm glad that she started a little bit of drama..but in the end she looked stupid. The challenge and the Arena was MUCH better this episode...I'm glad that Chet and Sarah pulled out a win. But at the same time I feel bad for Brandon, he can't seem to catch a break when it comes to teammates. I'm glad Cara is gone. I usually don't mind her but she was really starting to irritate me.
LOL Brandon: It feels like you're dragging a dead body". You've dragged a lot of dead bodies before?
He sure has, that's why he's always sent home in these things. I feel like he could do more than what we've seen of him if he wasn't on such ****** teams or pairs on each challenge.
Great ep. I liked that everyone competed hard and there was so much strategy talk about who to throw in to the Arena. I didn't watch Chet's season and have gotten an annoying, pretentious vibe from him with those trendy glasses of his, but he kinda cracked me up this episode with his asking JD why he can't get in Frank's bed and joking around about Sarah and Alton having conversations about stars and wind. Ha! Someone refresh my memory: when eliminations progress, can you get to the final as a team of 4? Or does everyone go down to 2? Just wondering if we're gonna eventually see teams turn on each other...for example, what if Zach and Ashley decided they'd have a better shot at winning the prize money (and have less people to split it with) if they got rid of Frank and Sam? It'd be interesting to see that!

I'm sure at some point teams like Brooklyn and Cancun may turn on each other to try to get down to 2 teams but that's risky since you don't truly control who goes in.
-Did someone say something about McKenzie havin scars on her face? How did I miss that?
I did. It was when they showed her at the mission, she had her helmet on, so I think it was right before NOLA started participating. She had red marks on her face, as if she'd been scratched (possibly from the Oil Change mission?).
He sure has, that's why he's always sent home in these things. I feel like he could do more than what we've seen of him if he wasn't on such ****** teams or pairs on each challenge.
I definitely agree. It really sucks because he's fun, so I wanted to see more of him, and also it'd be nice to see his physical abilities. It also makes me wonder if he would ever come back for another challenge... After 3-4 times, I would just get discouraged.
I can see more new rivalries starting next week.
Way to go Sarah!!! Great win against two solid competitors and in a tough elimination round!
This would have been the week to turn things on their heads and throw SD in. Probably they'd have to eliminate Frank & Sam first to have a shot at Zashley, but those are the two you don't want in the Finals because they're almost sure to win. And you want an equalizer elimination round like this episode had, to have a shot to get Zach out. Easy not volunteering himself is absolutely the correct call; he has nothing to gain by doing so. Brandon is a stronger competitor so the power team should jump at the chance to get rid of him. Easy has proven that eventually he'll eliminate himself (and he knows that others know that about him) so there's really no reason for anyone to put him in. Assuming Trishelle wasn't faking the whole thing, I have to wonder what kind of a muppet she's become where she's willing to take what people tell her at face-value instead of making up her own mind (about Sarah). My wife said she came off sounding very jealous of Sarah in a way. Maybe I'm missing something here but why does McKenzie seem like such a fan favorite? (I haven't gotten around to watching their season yet) She hasn't shown anything in the way of competitive talent yet and there are certainly prettier girls there. (I don't want to come off sounding harsh there but I'm not seeing anything that makes me want to root for her)
Camila (The Challenge, House), 25 points: Longtime GRTFLers remember Camila for her early 2012 hits such as "The Zombie Swim," "Banana's Hammock," and "The Demonic Death Threat," but she's closing out the year with a comeback performance for the ages. This week her teammate Brandon was the target of one of her patented switch-flip, rage monster, teary hate-tirades (5 + 5 = 10 points), which crescendoed with her standing up, lowering her voice four octaves, extending two middle fingers to the sky, and spinning in a weird dancing motion while screaming, "YOU CAN GO BLEEP YOURSELF, YOU CAN GO BLEEP YOURSELF, EVERYBODY! YOU CAN GO BLEEP YOURSELF" over and over and over and over and over again. She then stormed off and announced, "I am going home, I'm leaving!" (15 points) Brandon quickly (and accurately) diagnosed her: "You need help. You need therapy. Like, you are ******* crazy for real." Now, if you're going to go theorizing about the source of her ragey craziness, it would be idiotic to attribute her behavior -- as The Challenge legend Johnny Bananas once did on a podcast -- to her Brazilian heritage. Which is exactly why I am going to do it. But instead of relying on the simplistic (and offensive) old saw that "Latin women are hot-tempered," I have identified the exact source of Camila's affliction. It took a lot of time and research at the Grantland labs, but it is now clear to me that she's routinely possessed by a Candomblé deity called an Orixa. Let me explain: When the slave trade was channeled through Latin America, hybrid religions formed that were based partly in Christianity and partly in traditional African beliefs. One of the popular ones in Brazil is Candomblé. Candomblé beliefs hold that Orixas are minor deities that are summoned and possess believers during certain rituals. While the possessed are under the trance of the Orixa, they take on the voice, speech patterns, and movements of the Orixa. Which is exactly why Camila seems to morph into a rage monster every time she has a couple drinks. She isn't actually just a drunken crazy person; she's being possessed by her Orixa and her Orixa wants everybody to **** themselves. Got it? Glad we cleared that up. Devyn (The Challenge, Undrafted/May not exist), 25 points: When we made the rule "Slandering someone's sexual performance -- 25 points" it was one of those jokey rules that we never thought would actually, ya know, happen. Well, thank you, Devyn: "Real World: Las Vegas is going to throw in Real World: Brooklyn? Sarah, do you not know how to give a proper********? I just don't understand how that is happening." Microsoft Word just corrected me and asked that I change "********" to "*******." I never knew Microsoft Word was such a ****** computer application. Chet (The Challenge, House), 20 points: Remember when Pete Sampras puked all over Queens in the 1996 U.S. Open? No? Well, check it out. Chet totally did the same thing (10 points) after winning the elimination challenge this week. I knew he was going to win because in the "This season on The Challenge" (my favorite five words in the English language), he makes out with Trishelle. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if at some point in the early 21st century Pete Sampras made out with Trishelle as well. She gets around. Sarah (The Challenge, Simmons), 10 points: Sarah notched 10 points for winning the elimination challenge, but she didn't puke like Chet did. Lame. She also inspired her crush -- the greatest athlete in our species' history, Alton -- to declare, "You are like me, only a white girl. Or I am like you, only a bald black guy" and "Sarah honestly completes the picture for me. A full-on picture of what I can see my life being." Yes, a woman that he just met four days ago on a reality show "completes the picture for him." I hope that picture includes the two of you breaking up immediately upon a return to the States once you realize that you were only attracted to her because she was one of the only 16 girls that speaks the same language as you do that you met in that last month. Alton, Trishelle, Dustin, and Nany (The Challenge, Various Teams), 5 points: Team Las Vegas is far and away the most entertaining bunch on this show. You have reality legends Alton and Trishelle, the sexy Nany, and the RA of the Fratpad, Dustin. They won the challenge this week and then promptly fell apart while deliberating about who to put up for elimination. Alton did not want to put in the Brooklyn team because Sarah is on that team and Sarah, ya know, "completes the picture" for him. While Trishelle and Dustin were discussing what to do, Dustin suggested that he was going talk to Alton and Trishelle snapped, "You can't even go in that room right now because he will brainwash you." Trishelle, he is Alton from Real World, not Charles Manson. Dustin is a big boy, he can handle himself, it's not like he was tricked into doing gay Internet **** or anything ... oh wait. Cara Maria (The Challenge, Kang), 5 points: You will be missed, Cara Maria. You were not the only one crying when you left the show (5 points), you are easily the most attractive woman on television that looks like a pirate, is obsessed with horses, and dated a dude that covered his jail cell in feces. Brandon (The Challenge, Simmons), 5 points: Dude, the woman that you are arguing with is possessed by an Orixa (5 points). Be cool, man. Take it down a notch.
via
I'm really liking Chet this season. I never disliked him but I never liked him either. Wasn't this his first elimination round win ever?
I'm really liking Chet this season. I never disliked him but I never liked him either. Wasn't this his first elimination round win ever?
Agreed--Chet's growing on me He lost his only other elimination match to Wes during The Ruins--so, yeah, his first win.
Chet and Sarah, to me, are definitely the heroes this season.
Jacoby killed it in that column.

Kenzie is a knockout, she is one of, if not THE, most beautiful girls this season and in RW history. Athletically she beat Nany in the oil wrestling match (one of few that was actually a legit match). And Nany doesnt seem like a weak girl. Why not root for her?
Chet and Sarah, to me, are definitely the heroes this season.
What exactly makes those two heroes? Is it taking out two subpar competitors?
What exactly makes those two heroes? Is it taking out two subpar competitors?
Why do you think Cara Maria and Brandon are subpar competitors? Brandon is an average male competitor, while Cara Maria is a well above average female competitor.

"Athletically speaking", a wrestling match fought in a pool of oil means nothing; after all, Dustin took Zach to a draw. As far as looks go, I'd say she's maybe #5. Nany is definitely #1.
Why do you think Cara Maria and Brandon are subpar competitors? I'm not discrediting Dustin by any means, he seems very athletic and all, but on podcasts and stuff people say that Zach is like 235-240 lbs. Dustin at most is probably 200. How can a big bad, former indoor football (probably 3rd string) wide receiver not even beat a dude that he outweighs by 40 lbs? He's a challenge bust. I can't wait to see a challenge where goes up against some of the big dogs. Btw, Zach, you got lucky with the cast this time around. If you win this season, you'll always have an asterisk next to it.
Name one thing that Brandon and Cara Maria have done to be considered average and/or above average competitors.
Brandon won 3 elimination rounds on Cutthroat and nearly won the elimination round on Rivals against Wes and Kenny. Cara Maria made the Final on Cutthroat and Rivals and was able to keep going when Sarah, Jenn, Mandi, Abram, Mike, and Leroy were unable to.
If anyone's interested there's a video on mtv.com with Evan and Paula recapping the "highlights" of the first three episodes. Nothing too interesting was said except a lot of smack talk about Big Easy. Evan seems to have taken all the comments about him on Rivals to heart...he looks as skinny as I've seen him look since maybe Duel 1.
Evan seems to have taken all the comments about him on Rivals to heart...he looks as skinny as I've seen him look since maybe Duel 1.
Looks like he has already delivered the baby.
That was quite interesting to watch. Evan kind of used the same commentary/jokes he made from Derrick's podcast.
smh at ranking McKenzie @ #5...no comparison to Nany. 1.McKenzie 2.Ashley 3.Melinda 4.Sarah 5.Trishelle 6.Nany the end.
I thought McKenzie was the prettiest girl on the show but there are some interviews where she doesn't look nearly as good as she does some other times. I also think that that one wrestling match isn't that big of a deal. From what I saw, and the episode is locked on mtv.com so I can't double check, she didn't throw Nany out so much as Nany's leg flailed and crossed the line. Knight, Alton, and Zach (on a podcast) have all now said McKenzie's not a good competitor and all three have had opportunities to make those same criticisms of Jemmye and haven't and only called out Mckenzie.

Cara Maria has physical strength, whether or not her head's always in the right place is a different story, but she's definitely physically strong.
5? Cara Maria has physical strength, whether or not her head's always in the right place is a different story, but she's definitely physically strong.
Cara Maria's such a train wreck mentally that I can't even consider her strong physically. I'd say calling her "a 5" or average is legit. I would very rarely expect her to win an elimination round unless she has an elite partner (see Laurel). She beat Mandi which is alright.
