He looks like he is the guy to beat with Camilla. Apparently he was supposed to be with Casey and fortunately for him , she was subbed with Camilla. Lone representation for JEK. Big turnaroud since Cutthroat, he dominated Rivals, and so far looks like the best pair (since Mark and Robin sucked on the second one, and VInny and Sarah got booted, Ct and Diem look like a mess so far)

Johnny should be very please he got Camilla as a partner and not Casey. Could you guys imagine how he would of reacted if Casey was his partner this challenge I am pretty sure he would not be one of the top teams this season.

Okay, I don't resent her lol, but I really wish that she had accepted because there is no way they'd win as a team. I dislike Johnny and I am tired of him winning challenges.

From the Real World Key West to Cutthroat I really couldn't stand Johnny I thought he was a major D Bag and winning the Island and the Ruins made him even worse. But after CT turned him into a backpack in the Gulag it seemed to of humbled him and made him more likable on Rivals and Battle of the Exes.

I agree that Johnny is a lot more tolerable of late than he has been in the past. He seems to have subscribed to Kenny's plan of ' help your friends into the finals, to hell with the rest' without actively stirring the pot too much. I think he's realized that he's in control (even minus EK or other close friends around) and he doesn't have to do much as the weaker teams will take care of themselves without intervention. I don't know spoiler info about these season but to date, Johnny has the same record as Kenny (3 wins out of 8 attempts). Maybe it seems like he's winning a lot more because he has appeared in many recent challenges, but come on it's not like he has Darrell's track record on these challenges (4/6). If he wins BOTE as I expect him to, I might concede it's time for someone else to step up but for now, he's ok and he makes for some good tv as he always seems to be pulled into the middle of things even when he's just trying to mind his own.

Honestly, even Evan and Kenny weren’t that annoying in their time as Johnny is now. I’m just really sad how things go on because of his ‘empire’. Guy is running whole show. This is sad. MTV got amazing cast like Aneesa, Rachel, Mark, Abram and Johnny Bananas just runs it.

I just can't stand the way he use to play and control whole game. I'm one of those old generation fans who had been watching Challenges since BOTS and I was really excited to see people like Mark. Now I hate how Mark acts on BOTEX because of Johnny.

Calling Johnny a top player feels like disrespecting Mike, Mark(when he wasn't a *****), CT(When he was in his prime), and Derrick(G3). I just think he has a great social game but if it was straight physical and smartness needed like something in The Amazing Race he wouldn't be near first. He has a good partner she puts it up when needed and he's good but just very very very very very overrated this season. If he had Casey he would be second to go I mean the girls this season(Besides Rachel/Aneesa) aren't very competitive. Diem is a good but she seems to be not performing 100% out of spite for CT then you had Naomi, Mandi, Robin and Priscilla. Then the average girls Paula, CaraMarie, Sarah and Heather. Then the only good girl Emily who out performs Ty even though he has been performing good this season. [/rant]

Have you seen his recent track record though? His social game is off the charts but his challenge game has been great. He sprinted up the slip slid today twice. He and Camila come in first every other challenge. On Rivals he and Tyler did extremly well. Cutthroat he was one of the best guys on his team. He is extremly crafty and resourcful too. Right now he's on the short list of good players in the game. Some people would take him out physically but few can match him politcally and few are as crafty.

I don't have much to back my statement up, but that girl is just so shady, I can't even come up with an reason to excuse her behavior. I don't think manipulation of people on Challenges is something you can really practice for. The best way to increase your Klout among Challenge participants is to network with them outside of the shows, and Johnny does that well enough. He's been around long enough (along with other like Paula and Mark) so he does carry that influence. That probably helps him more than 'saying the right thing at the right time to the right audience' during the show. As far as practicing/training for the show in the off-season, how is that not admirable? I can't see it unless someone just doesn't like his personality and is using his work ethic as an excuse to attack him. Training year-round is considered smart money for other types of physical challenges like Ninja Warrior or even... the Olympics but it's considered dumb or elitist for a Challenge??

Suck up to the main power and fly under the radar and not putting a target on your back, thats just a normal average human thinking/acting. Every challenger wants to win in the end and usually the prepared one wins the challenge. The more prepartion you do (even if it means to manipulate some people), the more it will benefits you. We(99,3 % of us) dont know how JB is in real life, maybe hes the complete opposite in real life, so maybe the others just like to have him around....

I'm a Bananas fan but I really do appreciate the fact that he wears Kenny's stuff for pretty much every show related event that involves a camera and shouts out Suck Yeah all the time and not just his "Real Johnny Bananas" thing. You can say what you want about him, or Kenny, or the clothing line in general, but that's a pretty good friend. Some of the other cast do it here and there too but I almost always see Johnny wearing that stuff.

Johnny/Kenny pretty much have a poor mans version of the Mafia thing going on. They are connected and have influence over everyone. Even great players like Mark, Derrick, and CT fall in line for them. Viewers used to think Johnny would be screwed on his own but he has ascended to power player status of his own right.

I used to hate the sight of this guy. He's a big reason I stopped watching years back. However I recently listened to him on Nik Richie's podcast and I'm slowly warming up to him. Perhaps he won me over (ever so slightly) with his comment about the L.A. arsonist. I won't elaborate but he and I share similar views on the 'city of angels'. I'm also intrigued by his new found friendship with CT which he also touched on briefly during the show. He basically said "he's a guy you want ******* out of your tent rather than in it". <--couldn't agree more. But I find it hilarious that these two were able to bury the hatched playing X-box with each other almost daily. If there is one thing about him that remains disgusting it's his chauvinist views towards women. He should really work on that.

I remember her not ever openin gher mouth during rivals at all but I think she does a decent job at decent english. Yes she has a slight accent but so does CT and that doesn't mean it's broken english.

Not sure how you can compare the two.

CT has an accent, so does Camila, but at the end of the day, they speak english, not broken. Just english.
