The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Abram Boise

They both annoy me.

Abram's my fav cast member of all time..the fact that he is crazy makes him all the more entertaining. The funny thing is that all you people say poor Cara Maria blah blah blah, but more people from the cast seem to like Abram than Cara Maria. Listen to Derrick's recent podcast. If Cara Maria teased me as much as she did Abram I'd leave her no questions asked.

Abram and Cara Maria are both crazy. Their dysfunctional relationship will make for great TV, especially after seeing that interview.

Granted I agree, I think they are both pretty crazy...this is the only relationship I decided to post my thoughts on, as usually I mostly care about the competitive part of the challenge. But it seemed like Abram was at a point where he wanted to make the next step into the relationship, and Cara Maria was not ready. What do you do in this situation? It's been quite a while since Cutthroat filmed, I doubt time is a issue, and I'm assuming age is a factor here. Abram is probably ready to settle down and Cara Maria isn't. Should Abram commit to a long distance relationship or should Cara Maria take a leap, or should one of them commit to ending the relationship, no more teasing, or what other option is there? I have no idea, but this "interview" really peaked my interest. I've been in front of a true life camera doing this type of stuff before, and I was never really able to give a real emotional response like I watched Abram do.

Sounds like he's at peace with it. To be frank I might be the only one who feels this way but Cara Maria seemed too smug and fake in that...you can't have meaningful conversations with people like that. It drives you crazy.

There is nothing particularly real about it. Surreal perhaps...

There is a huge difference in Cara Maria's type of strange and Abrams. Cara Maria is strange in a harmless, "I'm gonna go make arts and crafts" kind of way. To be honest Abram scares me. I think he's insane and stranger than probably anyone could ever imagine. If he ends up in jail or a mental asylum a couple years from now I wouldn't be surprised. Don't like him at all.

Just a happy loner who doesn't quite relate to our society. Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily. I personally like Abram, but I guess I'm one of the few who sort of understands where he's coming from.

I actually think he's right in some of the arguments she's shown on youtube, like the one where she apparently told him he didnt have to worry about money on their trip but then says he didnt pay for stuff, and I agree with him with what he said in their interview when he was implying that she cant commit and she admits that on her formspring but the way he over reacts and acts stupid to prove his point makes him look like a lunatic, like the burning money thing and how he walked off from the interview, like calm down idiot. It makes her look better because she stays calm. But other times he's just a complete and utter moron, like who puts their car in reverse when they're on a hill? And then decides to get pissed about it when their passenger freaks out.

Well, Abram apparently chose to participate in the face-off to get sent home, because according to the story MTV tells, his business venture was in trouble and he really wanted to leave. At this point, Abe was already in possession of a key which he had won in the face-off against Kenny (and Tonya) in the episode before. During the face-off Derrick and Johnny worked together to eliminate Abe first. Finally, Derrick won against Johnny. Abram begged to be voted off. Derrick and Johnny received a key. I'm getting old.[/QUOTE] Cast rumor is that he was not on the phone talking with people in his business, but, rather, was talking to Coral, and that the fix was in with his challenge buddies for Abram to share in the winnings if he would leave early. Just rumors of course, but they have the ring of truth.

Well Cara Maria just claimed on Brandon's podcast that this time she is DONE with Abram FOR GOOD because this time he slept with another girl and she claims she kept holding back on being labeled as his girlfriend, which upset him, but she's never slept with another guy since she's met him. Drama! I hope they show more of this because the CT and Diem stuff is so boring. I hope they are done because just looking at the videos of them, say what you will about Cara Maria being annoying and dramatic, I think Abram is crazy in a creepy, intense way while Cara is not as crazy or weird as she wants people to think. She's just trying to find herself. And I think she should have made up her mind on what she wanted from the relationship, but Abram is the one literally flipping out over small things and calling her horrible words. It's hard to imagine Coral ever putting up with that. lol.

Sometimes I wonder if she actually cares for Abram or if she only fell for him because he's a TV personality. She cannot keep any aspect of their relationship private (IMO).

I genuinely feel more bad for him than I do for her. He's not the sanest guy out there but I think he has a pretty clear picture of what he wants and she just doesn't. However, she is so prideful that she won't allow him to just move on. She doesn't want to commit and expects him to wait around for her and be at her beck and call. At least that's my interpretation of things based off what I've seen/read.

If she doesn't know how to forgive then she shouldn't waste his time. For however long she spoke about how she enjoys her freedom and didn't want to be anyone's girlfriend or be married. I don't know what that whole "facebook official" thing was about if that's how she felt. She still doesn't want to commit but she wants him to not live a life until she figures herself out. From that point on, she didn't know whether or not to trust the kid since there's a difference between weird crazy and stupid crazy and that was stupid crazy. I don't see how she's fake because of that.
