Maybe the following will help unless one was recently in diapers... Steven Adler -- Former drummer for the hard rock band Guns N' Roses is coming back to Celeb Rehab after being on the same shoe and Sober House in 2008 & 2009. (FYI, BethS, RW Season 2, was working as Axel Rose's PA at Guns N' Roses when she was cast for RW:LA), Bai Ling -- An actress born in China who has appeared on TV in Entourage, The Unit, Lost and Touched by an Angel. She also appeared on the reality show "But Can they Sing." (She couldn't) On film, among her over 50 roles is The Hustle which will be out on DVD on July 1. Most on-line bios of her note her roles in Spike Lee's She Hate Me, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith from which most of her scenes were rumored to have been cut after she appeared on the cover of Playboy. Win–Loss record: 194–112, Earned run average: 3.51, Strikeouts: 2,293; several run-ins with the law post-baseball. Three of my favorite staring roles for her were in Blade Runner, A Kiss Before Dying (with Matt Dillon), and The Boost (with James Woods). Most recently, she was the first celeb eliminated from last year's "Skating with the Stars" on ABC. (Just being anywhere around that show would have sent thousands into the need for rehab). Considering one of the alumni of this show, the guy from Taxi--Jeff Conway I think, died this week from complications from an overdose, I think maybe they should change the name to Cameo Rehab.

I think most younger people would be more likely to know him as Kenickie from Grease.
Anyone watching the new season? Sad to see Sugar on there.
Anyone watching the new season? Sad to see Sugar on there.
I heard about that a little over a month ago and was told her addiction was "mild".
Anyone watching the new season? Sad to see Sugar on there.
I've been watching, and to be honest it's kind of a bore-fest. The only entertaining part of the show so far is Bai Ling wandering around the roof of the facility in just a bath robe. As for Sugar, according to what I heard on the show last night (I wasn't paying a lot of attention, so bear with me), she dabbled in a bunch of different drugs, but her main addictions are alcohol and marijuana. Also, she said after her second season of Survivor, she wanted to kill herself.
I heard about that a little over a month ago and was told her addiction was "mild".
Her real addiction is alcohol, but they're making a huge deal of her weed smoking. It's stange! Speaking of strange, I am loving Bai Ling! I don't want her on meds because she's so funny without it! "Hi, I'm Bai Ling and I'm from the moon."
She said she was kicked off of Survivor HvV because she wanted to harm herself??? They usually send the pre-jury boots on vacations. I think she wa saying that they sent her home instead of sending her on the vacation.
I thought she said something like she overdosed after being voted off and they flew her to Australia. As for Bai Ling, I'm loving her! Dr. Drew: Michael, I think you're having a reaction. Bai Ling: He's too nice! Michael Lohan: NO, I'M NOT TOO ******* NICE! Bai Ling: Ok.

Is this show coming back? The Couples Therapy deal on now is just a lame imitation....
Is this show coming back? The Couples Therapy deal on now is just a lame imitation....
Dr. Drew has other things going on, including his CNN gig. I don't think Celebrity Rehab is high on his agenda. He's better off spending time in the rehab of his own reputation which was somewhat damaged by his VH-1 experience His new show has nothing to do with celebrities. Here is how the Hollywood Reporter described the VH1 announcement: "VH1 has ordered eight episodes of "Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew," a series where the addiction specialist treats a group with sex compulsion issues. "Celebrity Rehab" spinoff is one of two new series orders and several pickup announcements the network made Wednesday. ... In "Sex Rehab," Dr. Drew Pinsky will treat a group in Los Angeles and try to shed light on misconceptions about the issue. Eight one-hour episodes have been ordered; the show will premiere in the fall. In what I find laughable, Jeff Olde, who I really do like, reportedly said this about VH1's 2012 programming decisions, "VH1 is riding high on its most successful wave of original hit programming yet," said Jeff Olde, executive vp original programming. "Much of our momentum can be credited to many of the franchises and talent that we're renewing." Did I really miss something? Has there been "momentum" at VH1? I must have missed all their new "top ten" shows...top twenty?

I think the real momentum stopped with Ryan Jenkins. Abrego/Cronin were basically THE network for a few years with their guilty pleasure shows.
And no offense, but without the failed celebs, why would I watch any Drew show?

They need the old bald guy from Intervention for this..."gotta bunch a people that love ya like crazy"
Rodney King RIP...was about the only guy on all the Rehabs I actually was rooting for to do well.
I heard. Very, very sad news.

Thank God the court got the children out of that house just in time.
There are two reasons why Dr. Drew should be ashamed. First, the show was only 21 days in rehab, not the necessary 28, or because there are filming tasks in addition to the therapy, perhaps it should have been longer. And second, while there were people with severe issues like Mindy and Rodney, they were mixed with attention *****s like the Lohan father which just detracted from every group session. IMO, it was a recipe for disaster And I hope his team is reaching out to other past patients regularly.
I have faith in Dr. Drew's willingness to reach out and I'm certain he keeps in touch with as many as he can. But if they are unwilling to help themselves, then it won't matter how much help he offers.

If Dr. Drew were doing anything inappropriate, there are countless lawyers in California who would be all over him with civil suits for malpractice and complaints to the Medical Review Board of California. No record of malpractice suits settled or judgements entered; no administrative actions; no license issued with public letter of reprimand. Media criticism is pointless and doesn't count. Critics are paid to be critical and, sadly, there is no board certifying them. He and his producers were very professional and up-front in their interaction with us and our client. I would not have hesitated to work with them again.
