Did anyone else tune in to see Piers win The Celebrity Apprentice? I was happy that Trump did not sell out to the middle America propaganda bullshit edit and kept his integrity in tact by choosing the obvious winner.
It was not even close. This season was about raising money for charity and Piers was the only one on the show that actually pulled in serious money. He leveraged his rolodex with his fame and got the big bucks. That is what the show was always about.
Trace seems like a great guy, but he was way out of his league. In truth, the only person on the show that could have possibly competed with Piers was Gene Simmons. It is to bad he choose to be fired so early in the season. His eccentricity got the best of him.
I actually thought that Carol Alt was the second best player this year. I was very impressed with her mental acuity and will say that my opinion of her has changed because of the show (i.e. not just a dumb model.)
Looks like D-Lebrity apprentice will be back next season. I'll probably watch if there is at least one person I know on the cast...
