Brittini Sherrod Interview

I don't think she is a bad competitor, but even V said that half of the cast wouldn't even put her in the top half of the girls.

I have not seen anything spectacular from anyone besides Rachel and Diem in a mission. Ruthie wasn't there long enough. I hope Brittini is in the next Duel, and wins. I like her, but she doesn't deserve so much credit for getting to the end .

It kinda sucks because I was excited to see her, and I'm still wondering where the crazy Tori is that everyone is afraid of. Name one mission where Tori has had a better time than Brittni. Landon sure didn't hoist Brittni on his back and climb those ropes by himself. Even with the ropes mission, Britt held her own. Aneesa is horrible in missions but is good in Duels. Jenn doesn't do that well in missions and Kim gets points for taking out Ruthie, but Robin? When has Robin been scary? Robin won one elimination round, against Casey. Diem has done well in missions. IMO, She does get credit for being at the end. As much as I don't like people who coast, everyone gets credit for being there at the end. I don't put Brittni up there athletic wise more than Rachel or Evelynn but she's not weak either.

You claim Tori has coasted and has done nothing great, but then go on to say the she gets credit for being there, even though she has coasted? Come on, we all love Brittini and she deserves some credit for being there, but not the amount that people are trying to give.

Athletic wise, she probably is better than all girls that left, with the exception of Ruthie. Sorry, we are going to have to agree to disagree, Dart. I'm not going to give Brittni less recognition because Landon is her partner.

That's the great thing about opinions, everyone is entitled to one. I would agree with TJ. Based on The Duel II, Britt has been a top female competitor with or without Landon. Although I would rate Rachel above her, I feel she is closely matched with Diem. I would like to put that on par with Tori, but Tori has shown no significance this challenge nor has female physical ferocity in competition. I know she has got it though, its just a shame she didn't display that at all while being in New Zealand. I, too, would be interested with one word descriptions of cast members that Dart suggested! ;)

The basic problem with many opinions is that they are so poorly informed. The fact that people watch a few episodes of TV and form opinions is, well, foolish.

We can't all be working in entertainment and television, not to mention having close relations with MTV and cast members. Thus, I am forced to go off of two things. 1. What I see on the episodes (Each challenge Britt does well. She doesn't not finish, she doesn't whine about heights, she isn't dry heaving and saying she is going to have an emotional breakdown. Whether she wins the girl heats or loses, she does well.) Unless MTV production is purposely altering the challenge results or making up pretend footage, I am going to guess that what is occurring in the challenge is truthful. 2. What "informed" people with close relations to the game and the shows offer to us, their opinions. Fact is, most of us are just happy reality television RW/RR junkies. Sadly, I am uninformed. However, I am curious to think how lively and visited the Vevmo forums would be if the average fans didn't offer their opinions.

Its okay to like Brittani as a person but don't let her personality cloud your judgement of her as a competitor. Let's face it, if she hadn't been paired with Landon she most likely would have been called into the duel several more times probably more than Kim was. And honestly if she wasn't friends with Aneesa and Rachel she would be picked because I believe she is an easier person to beat than Tori or Diem. she hasn't proved herself in a duel (no Brooke doesn't count)

I didn't like her on RW Hollywood.

However, she performed to the ability Landon hoped she had in her. He picked her for a reason. Landon is good, but if he had, say, Aneesa as his partner...I think we can all assume her inability would overshadow his amazing abilities. Britt was pretty solid in most challenges, heights related or unrelated. She showed great mental composure and brought her game when need be. Individual challenges she has faired pretty well, and even won one [I]without[/I] Landon. Shall we discredit Britt for that solo win because Rachel was stupid, underestimated Britt, and did not pace herself each round (Athlete 101)? I hope she does go into the duel next week, for then, we might get better insight.

I personally am go to form my opinon on Brittini. Yes, she has some athletic abilities and has done fairly decent. However, she has NOT shown me that she is capable of anything spectacular. I don't have anything against Brittini because she lucked out and took advantage of the card she was dealt. I will say she played the game very smart. Nonetheless, I believe Landon was the main factor that got her to the finals.

However, after she beat Rachel in the flag challenge, which was the most difficult one and physical taxing, her competitive prowless has exponentially increased in my book. Perhaps, she may have been called into more Duels, but I believe with the exception of an Aneesa in (Back Off, Push Over, or The elevator), she would and could most likely take anyone else in any of the Duels including a hesitant Rachel. And after eliminating a few people, she would have been perhaps more feared imo. I think that may actually turn out to be a minus, her not being able to display herself in more duel situations. She would smoke someone like a Diem or Paula in any of the duels. Brittani imo is a very solid competitor and is second to Rachel. Rachel in the challenges overall is better, but not by the landslide presumed by most. Still, Rachel is untested in an elimination round, where nerves also come into play. I actually think that Landon can thank Brittani for a few of their team wins just as Brittani can thank Landon. She scaled up that ladder just as fast as the rest of those girls in the team ladder challenge. From the 4 individual challenges, Rachel won 2, Brittani won 1, and Ruthie won 1.

Rachel isn't invincible and everyone has their good days. I'm not saying that Brittani is a weak competitor I just think she's the weakest left. There are 2 reasons why she is still in the game one is that Landon is attracted to black girls like Shavonda. Two she lucked out and roomed with Rachel and Aneesa. Had she roomed with say Brooke and Shauvon she probably wouldn't have been as protected as she was. And I would have to disagree that she could beat Paula, KimN Diem or Tori in a duel. I think to get a good assessment of how good of a competitor she is shell have to do another challenge.

Because she has only done one duel, I then look at challenges. We can continue this discussion with better information in a few days due to the possibility of seeing Brittini in the final duel before the final mission. Maybe she will surprise us - the fans and the haters. I look forward to Wednesday =) Edit: While I find Britt a cute girl, Landon already has a girlfriend. She isn't black, so I guess Landon just likes girls in general.

If that was the case, he could've just chose Aneesa. But Aneesa normally doesn't do well on the challenges rather than eliminations. So that is maybe why. Brittini so far has done well in the individual challenges, and the challenges she had to perform with Landon as her partner.

Landon had a thing for Shavonda, does that make him have a thing for all black girls? Brittini being Landon's partner because he is "attracted" black is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Landon has a girlfriend, who is white, and at the time Brittini had a boyfriend.

I was just saying that he could've chose Aneesa as well if he is attracted to African American women, but probably not because she is not a good competitor on the challenges.
