Oldschooler whats you're idea of a perfect first date? Smile

I knew Cirie being on this would be disappointing.

she's literally in the best spot in the house, how is she disappointing? lol

I should have worded that better. SHE is not disappointing, the outcome is disappointing. It's like Patrick Mahomes throwing against a little league defense. She is too superior and it's not fun or impressive to see her take on braindead dummies. Like I've said, we've seen how boring it is with vets vs rookies. It's almost always a letdown with super fans letting their fandom get in the way plus no one in this cast besides Felicia is fun or exciting on their own.

yup i love cirie but she has no real adversay this season, it's another paul steamroll

I just don't like the unanimous votes.... I like my bb house split

Oldschooler whats you're idea of a perfect first date?

A casual dinner, not somewhere too nice but not somewhere tacky like Olive Garden. Then a fun activity like bowling or axe throwing. Or just walking around downtown and getting icecream. You can tell a lot about a girl by how she people watches. I don't hate a picnic and hike first date either, especially if it's to a lake or waterfall. I'm a big water guy.

Yup. That's been a huge turn off for me. It's like Cirie makes the decision and the sheep just line right up.

cory is just a liberal twink ben shapiro

i dislike the r word and think people should avoid saying it but i also don't watch reality tv to see good morals nor to see people be respectful/well mannered. the same ones calling for him being banned are the same ones crying about how wholesome and dramaless the show has become, if you want fights and drama then you kind of have to take the toxicity that comes along with it, you can't have yr cake and eat it too.

like don't cry for more seasons like bb6 and bb10 whenever almost every single cast member on those seasons, even the 'good' ones would probably get cancelled

anyways i am proud to be an AMERICAN tonight

Why are y'all acting like Cirie is handed the win. y'all are comparing it to Paul. Paul didn't win. Cirie is an obvious 4th/3rd placer. So y'all can******** whenever that happens and someone else falls *** backwards into a win. Considering she's aligned with people we wouldn't typically see you do well on the show I think that makes for an exciting ending. Without Cirie the young yts would be in control as usual.

His saying that didn't lead to a fight or any drama, so it exists in a bubble, not a good one.

And, BB6 only works because Janelle and Howie could be just as bad as the Friendship. They were all terrible enough that it cancels out.

Like, Monet and Britney were nasty af about Rachel, and Rachel was that way about Kristen and Annie.

Like I'm sure if we dig far enough in some old forums, we'd see people complaining about certain things. And, the things people are complaining about aren't leading to any blow-ups.

I'm not saying everything is going to be peaches and cream, but Jared saying that did nothing and at this point, I feel like people use the lack of drama in modern reality TV as an excuse to run with people doing and saying shitty things that don't even lead to any engaging arguments or conversation. Like there was at least something that came out of people saying/doing things that weren't morally/politically correct. That type of nuance is lacking today.

Like people were arguing that Luke should've stayed in the house, and yet he's been nothing but caliver and upset on social media, no lessons were learned.

At least with the treatments of Kemi, Taylor, and Candice it lead to some drama and the people involved were called out for their actions. It lead to something, none of the mess this season has done that as of yet.

Like everyone on reality TV isn't going to be perfect, but I think people can also formulate an opinion and say, "I don't like what this person did." and not like them? That's valid.

I've seen Black people on reality TV get it worse for less. Liana from a recent season of Survivor said she didn't like this white boy's face , and they were in her comments harassing her. Both sides of the spectrum are unhinged, and we have to stop acting like Twitter stans are the reason reality tv is the way it is. There's little consequence for Luke and will be little consequence for Jared in the outside world.

Even the BB15 cast bounced back and that was the most blatantly bigoted cast I can think of as a collective. The BB21 cast weren't egged on the street either like idk these things exist in a bubble anyway.

the final 4 obviously is izzy jared and cirie. cirie is not going home in that scenario, you talk a lot of ish but don't say much. flip flopper timster...

It's not about her winning. It's the fact that she will dominate all season and create one of the most boring seasons ever. The cast already has no (and bad) personality and now we don't even have good gameplay. It's nothing against Cirie. It's production giving us the same twist that we've never seen succeed. It's a huge boring flop every time. And Cirie is ready to turn on Felicia. Didn't she already turn on Mecole too? Jared is terrible at this game. We are going to end up with an Izzy and Matt or Izzy and Cory final 2.

Cirie is not winning lol she's F6-F4 boot because everyone already sees she's running things. I can see anyone not named Jared turning on her at some point.

I actually like this cast almost everyone is actively playing besides Bowie and sometimes Meme. Usually half the cast are chillin like Bowie is but everyone is gaming.

Cirie is def not winning, sadly.

Cirie's downfall will probably be her and Jared's relationship.

If it gets out randomly, the jury will probably grow bitter if one of them makes it to the end and the other doesn't. If Izzy weren't so polarizing, I would argue she has a shot to win, but I don't think she's that well-liked.

I don't understand why production hasn't just said it yet, because normally the other HGs know unless they're waiting until the jury hits.

Also, keeping America AND Jag who are more likely to make a move against her is stupid, but she survived a  Cameron HOH, but Red leaving will only make his next one worse.

Well that playing isn't translating on the edited version and neither is their personality. All I see is cringe and absolute boringness.

you do make some good points, i think that an issue with modern day seasons comes from some individuals saying nasty things from a distance or behind someones backs where it leads to nothing. or it happens in the context of a power structure in which the majority is picking on the powerless minority. like jack and jackson towards kemi, it was sad to watch because kemi wasn't in a position of power and was isolated to a point where she couldn't defend herself without tanking her game even more. but being honest situations like kemi's or candace/howards to me aren't even worth having 'good tv' for because they're probably all traumatized for life now because of how they were treated. i really don't know where the line is between "good, entertaining drama" and "bad, unacceptable drama" is because it's dependent on so many factors, like the current political climate, the power structure of the house, what exactly was said, the ability for the person being attacked to defend themselves back, etc.

but i also think if those seasons aired today, the majority consensus would be negative and people would call for everyone to be expelled because reality tv fans can't handle drama unless it's in their own specific way that isn't always realistic.

do you guys think blue is just laying low and waiting for the right time at around mid jury to utilize jared's secret or did she just devolve back into a doormat. i swear she was so smart and aware of everything for like a week and then she just went right back to what she was doing before lol

i can actually see izzy winning

She's the vanilla Josh.

Remember when Kalia got canceled for saying she kicked her dog on feeds

i can actually see izzy winning

She's the vanilla Josh.

more like a mild Sam from Real World San Diego 2.

I just meant in the sense that she'll be Cirie's lapdog for 99 days doing the least and win because of a bitter jury.

I wanna see Felicia and Cirie become the granny version of April and Keesha. We need a good old lady feud with some good cat fighting.

It seems like Meme and Felicia want to vote out Jag but their alliance plan to blindside them by sending Red home so they'll get blamed for the votes against Jag

The edited show is so terrible I'm just going off of what's really going on on a game level from twitter/feeds lol

about the slur discourse i wish people were simply honest and just wanted Jared out because he's a shit head and not on the side of their faves.

Pretending that they're perfect people who've never said that word is just crazy. I don't personally use it anymore because i'm not a child and don't really have use for it but lol

I agree about Candice and Kemi, Kemi still regrets doing this show because of that. Even Candice gave that cast some **** but it's not enough to combat the actual racism she faced. The only semi-good thing that came out of it is the cast getting some heat, but outside of a few months of dragging that was it.

But as for old seasons in general, yeah I see BB15 getting this show canceled and you can see a shift in presentation too during BB16. Like there's always going to be discourse tho whether it makes sense or not that my whole thing. It's inevitable.

I feel like something like BB6 would probably force everyone to stop being performative and just stan who they stan.

about the slur discourse i wish people were simply honest and just wanted Jared out because he's a shit head and not on the side of their faves.

Pretending that they're perfect people who've never said that word is just crazy. I don't personally use it anymore because i'm not a child and don't really have use for it but lol

I agree it was largely due to them not liking Jared, but I always feel in these moments there are SOME genuine and valid complaints that I think just get ignored due to the selective performative few.

But, also we can't say we want reality TV back and not want to deal with the discussions that surround it. Like I said in the previous comment, discourse is inevitable, justified or not.
