I'm getting tired of people on other boards constantly cannonizing James. They totally buy into the biking for awareness thing. The sad truth is that the reason James is biking around America is to shirk responsiblity, freeload off of other people, and most of all TO PARTY. Now by itself there is nothing really wrong with this as he is only 21. But they shouldn't be making him out to be a feaking saint.
The James love is out there. I used to read Jokers for hours everyday but I just can't deal with the cult of James either as if you say anything negative about the gay **** star it quickly degrades to a schoolyard brawl of the pre-K variety. I had about 1400 posts on Jokers last summer and 1 this season. As far as last night's episode goes, I wasn't that disappointed to see him get off the block as I knew that at least one person I wanted to be evicted would be evicted. The scary thought that creeped into my head was that Sharon should go this week (instead of the evil Josh) because she will be hard to get rid of in the future and actually has a chance. Either way you look at it, we are one week closer to this being over and another "bad person" is going home.
Kathleen.....I know you are smiling at that prospect of James and Josh being saved this week! ;)
Mark I can understand your frustration, and although I am a James fan I don't ignore his true self. You are right, he is not biking around the world other than to save his *** from drug dealers and he is still scamming, wearing all pink so people think he is doing it for breast cancer. He is on a free ride and he doesn't care how he is being perceived. I'm rooting for him because he is a competitive player and actually has a strategy. I hate going to message boards and seeing the Natalie is a good person crap. She is naive, delusional and an accidental player. It's just dumb luck with her and a bit of athleticism thrown in. Bacchus, I roll my eyes at your attempts to bait me. ;) I am hoping that Ryan and Natalie decide that Sharon should be eliminated now, but alas, I am a realist and I believe that Josh will be sent packing.
I actually wouldn't mind if Josh, James, Natalie and Ryan joined forces but it would surely crumble within a week if they did. Plus I still think that 'A-Baller' is entertaining. He's like the court jester of the crew.
There would be nothing worse in this game to me from this point forward then a "girl power" alliance......please God, protect us (if you are still in the reality business.)
Sweet! God is helping the good people! Best case scenario: James and Sharon on the block with Shelia as a backdoor/pawn option.
I missed the first 20 minutes, but I saw the most important parts. It's a no brainer that James and Sharon will be put up, but maybe it's time for the boys club to break free. I'm hoping so.
I was just over at Jokers doing a little reading. To summarize: "Boo hoo hoo! Woe is me! It is going to be sooooooo boring now! I am canceling my feeds immediately. I am never watching again! I AM NEVER WATCHING AGAIN EVER EVER EVVVVAAAAH!" Awwww.....I feel bad for them. I'd bust out the salt shaker if I wasn't one of the good people on Team Christ. ;)
OH Big Brother! I'm loving you again. :D ;)
OH Big Brother! I'm loving you again.
If you are happy it can only mean two things: 1. There was a huge twist and Dustin is now in the house. 2. The Diary Room intelligentsia mind ***ked Adam to avoid Nerd Herd III. I am guessing the odds are higher with the latter. ;)
Can I not just love life again? ;) Who wants old and predictable. Surprises are good now and then.
Can I not just love life again? ;) Who wants old and predictable. Surprises are good now and then.
No! There is no life loving for you allowed! You are supposed to be tortured by Big Brother like the rest of us, lol. So you are not denying then that it is one of the two options that I offered? ;)
Ok you're right. You got me. Queen Dusty is back in da House! ;)
Ok you're right. You got me. Queen Dusty is back in da House! ;)
That is it! I quit! I am never watching again! Neeeeeeevah! ;)
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :weep:
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :weep:
I have not been reading any Big Brother spoilers, but from the little you have said I am guessing that Adam did not put up James on nomination day (which is why you were happy) and then put him up to be backdoored because one of the noms won veto (or anyone but James for that matter) and used it. (Don't tell me though! :D)
Now you've got me curious, I am going to go and peak. Don't worry Bacc, I won't write anything. ;)
Well, I was right about part one. Not sure though if Adam was just an idiot or if the DR "helped" him to make his decision about nominations. Whatever the case, it was a bad move on his part for him and his alliance. Now he stands to be backstabbed by James & Co. while at the same time ******* off his friends and being at the top of their list to be removed once this week is over. He basically double f*cked himself. At least it keeps things interesting... Obviously James goes up somehow, so I look forward to seeing how it plays out on Tuesday.
I'm sorry if I ruined your enjoyment of watching spoiler free. I'll try to contain my excitement and/or ire in the future. ;) Adam claims, after the fact, that the DR manipulated him into feeling sorry for James. But I say he's just spinning his wheels to cover his *** with Ryan and Natalie. The dude voted James back in. Obviously he wants him in the game or he is that afraid of him. I say he's afraid because he told Ryan and Natalie that one huge reason he didn't want to put James up was because if he won the PoV and came down he'd be gunning for Adam right away. This way he doesn't put him up and if the PoV is won by anyone else then he can safely backdoor him with out the backlash. Of course Ryan and Natalie still were dead against it because that covers Adam's *** not theirs. It is only a one and six chance that James can pull it off, so I say it's a risky move considering has won the last 3 PoV's in a row. All those pranks on Sheila were supposed to be for April Fools. I wish they would have shown all the ones that BB did. But I guess they couldn't since Josh was the recipient of most of those.
I'm sorry if I ruined your enjoyment of watching spoiler free. I'll try to contain my excitement and/or ire in the future.
You really didn't give anything away. It is not your fault I know you so well. :D Maybe we should just start a spoiler thread and a broadcast only thread to get us through the remainder of the season?
The prophecy has unfolded as I have forseen. Now the blood stained one shall perish. Muhahahahahaha! ;)
I think Adam not putting up James was very smart for everyone. It will possibly give him a vote from James if he makes it to the end. With a 6-1 odd, thats pretty good and I'm pretty sure the James was going to lose soon. As much as I like James, its his time. If James won PoV and took off Sharon it would put Adam at a bad point but maybe in a better alliance of him and Sheila and maybe Sharon. Adam can easily win against Sheila. It was risky but it works well for Adam.

However, James is a dangerous wild animal and it was best to put him down before he bit someone. ;) I will not shed a tear for "Team Pink."
Kathleen, I know I said no spoilers but when you find out who wins Endurance HOH I'd like to know. That way I can set my level of anticipation for the upcoming week. :D
My biggest thing with James going home was that the house is going to be real boring on BB Afterdark. Now all we are going to see is Natalie painting, Sheila sleeping, Sharon reading, Adam being gross and smoking, and Ryan smoking with him. Boring. At least with Josh and Chelsia, something exciting happens like a fight or a strip show...even if it was kind of weird.

This summer I am game and hopefully they have a much more diverse cast that I can enjoy (and would care to watch outside of the televised show.)
I don't like watching the feeds but afterdark can be exciting sometimes. I'm already game for a new season.
I find myself pulling against housmates who are heavily favored by the BB production staff. In BB8 I was not a Donato fan. The producer played a big part in editing the "reuniting father and daughter" angle. Thus endearing them to america who used eric S to help the donatos. This season it is even more obviouis that the BB producers were pushing heavily for team pink. From there inaccurate portrayals of the people on that team to the multiple DR sessions where they push other HGs to team up with or trust team pink. I don't see the heavy manipulation of the "Game" by BB to end in BB10 no matter how well it is cast
I don't see the heavy manipulation of the "Game" by BB to end in BB10 no matter how well it is cast
Don't forget that the Diary Room pushed everyone to save Eric (texting buck$gate) the week before they had Eric save ****. That part of the argument is often lost on jeric fans. ;) I agree that the manipulation will not end anytime soon. The truth is that all reality shows do this to some extent, it is just that with Big Brother being so transparent (feeds) it is much harder to hide that fact. If they actually spent more time making casting decisions it would pay off in the end product and they would have to spend less time trying to steer the ship to make a compelling show. In the past I have railed against Real World types on Big Brother (plastic & pretty) but we are stuck with a serious nerd herd at this point in the game and I almost wish they went for more "Jen" clones to round out the houseguests. The biggest thing for me is the age of the cast. If you are going to have 14 hamsters, I think that you should weigh heavy toward youth but at the same time represent all the way through to 45 (maybe 8 in 20's, 4 in 30's, 2 in 40's.) The obvious Ageism in the latest rendition of the show left me a bit standoffish right at the start because I could not associate as clearly with the cast as I was able to in previous seasons because it was all kids (and Shelia.) Lets hope some lessons were learned this winter and they get back to the formula that we love.
