I think people are making way too big of a deal over it--as per usual.
Yeah that's true, he's soo handsome though and I think that'll be a more of a distraction.
Zach made that too obvious...these people need to sell things better.
Okay, I'm trying to see the bright side of things...weak players should be nominated early and often
So... if i heard this correctly, the two people nominated will battle against the other people, and if you win you dethrone the HOH who put you up? nice. this may be incentive to get rid of the weak people AND/OR backdoor
MTV, hope ya have your notepad out. ;)
Okay, I'm trying to see the bright side of things...weak players should be nominated early and often
Agreed Where does POV fall in all this?
Agreed Where does POV fall in all this?
The reamining HOH & nominees will draw 3 names. Continue as usual i guess
Agreed Where does POV fall in all this?
Then the HOH that stays and the 2 remaining nominees will compete for the POV with 3 people chosen at random
MTV, hope ya have your notepad out. ;)
It really wasn't complicated. Pretty straight forward although the average American is probably lost.
So then the best way to get rid of a strong threat is back door.
Thanks for the clarification!
So then the best way to get rid of a strong threat is back door.
You really can't backdoor anyone (backdooring is a plan to eliminate someone) You could get lucky and be able to get rid of someone after the POV ceremony but there's no way anyone could backdoor anyone with this setup.
Damn...I liked Joey...now I want her to go home second...after Frankie. Destroy the twist
Never liked Joey, she comes off so scripted and manufactured... That gasp
You really can't backdoor anyone (backdooring is a plan to eliminate someone) You could get lucky and be able to get rid of someone after the POV ceremony but there's no way anyone could backdoor anyone with this setup.
well no if you work w the other HOH you could nominate 4 people Say you want person A gone, then get person B whose nom'ed with them to throw it, thus staying on the block. ... okay i can see how this is hard nevermind.

Basically, backdooring hasn't existed since the nominees and HOH no longer picked the person playing for them.
God Frankie is just, it's too much
God Frankie is just, it's too much
I'm not finding many of these people to be likable. Gotta be patient I suppose
I'm not finding many of these people to be likable. Gotta be patient I suppose
Just curious who are you a fan of so far? I agree there's not many to like at this point
i like brittany so far
derrick too
I just caught up. I agree that none of these people are very likable so far... Honestly, they all seem to be playing up a character. My thoughts on everyone: Amber - I love her! She is gorgeous, and she's one of the few people that seems very genuine and doesn't sound scripted. I'm rooting for her! Brittany - I really like her too. She hasn't been shown much, but she reminds me a lot of my own mom! Not really in personality, just in circumstance. She also seems very genuine. Caleb - Personally I don't find him that attractive. He also has a horrible attitude. Christine - She seems okay. Didn't really make an impression. Derrick - He seems like a nice guy! Devin - He sounds like he's reading off a script. Donny - He's funny and I really like him so far! Frankie - Okay, the second episode with him was more bearable than the first. I'm starting to warm up to him. He seems to be calming down a little. At first he was just playing it up wayyyyy too much for the cameras. Hayden - I like his nose ring! I thought I wasn't gonna like him but so far I do. Jocasta - Hahahaha I love her Joey - I don't really think she sounds scripted, but I don't really like her either. Nicole - Honestly it took me a second to think of who she was. She reminds me of Jordan! But Jordan was my favorite from the first episode. Nicole hasn't really made an impression. Paola - I love her! She's so sassy and funny. Victoria - She is trying way too hard to play this "pretty, conceited girl" character. Like, c'mon, just be yourself. Zach - Literally he has to be reading lines. Everything he says sounds premeditated. And he is totally playing up his villain character. It's annoying to watch. I don't want to watch people acting for the cameras. I like the HOH twist. I don't understand the Team America twist. First of all, because America just generally sucks at making good decisions. Second of all, how can you force people to be in an alliance? I don't think the general public should have an effect on the internal gameplay. It ruins it, to be honest. Overall it's kind of boring so far. I'm not a Big Brother superfan or anything and I've only casually watched a couple of seasons, so I hope something interesting happens soon... lol. With nominations coming up though, that's probably bound to happen.
oops, in addition, I also want to add that Derrick seems like a guy who will play the game very smart. playing lowkey, throwing the comp.. ect. Nicole reminded me of Aaryn. Ugh haha. Also agree that America should not influence game play.
After the first episode my favorites are Donny, Devin, Amber, Brittany, Joey, Zach and Frankie. I actually like most of the cast, they all seem to have really different personalities and I like the range of ages. If I had to pick a least favorite it would probably be Hayden.
I'm loving this season so far and I've been pleasantly surprised at how much I've come to like the cast. Here are my thoughts on them: Amber - A new fave. I didn't think much of her pre-season, but I can see her being a Janelle. Lovely personality and a physical threat. Brittany - I like her a lot, but I don't have much to go on. I hope she has a killer instinct and doesn't bow out in the middle. Caleb - Do I... like this guy?! I mean, he's not good at the game because he's such an obvious threat, but I find his Amber obsession and friendliness to Frankie (say what?!) endearing. But if he's the same guy he was in 2012, I just can't support him. I'll give him a chance. Christine - Pre-season fave. Pick to win. Love her. She's doing all the right things as far as the miniscule amount of show we've seen so far goes. I could go on for ages. HGs better watch out. Cody - He's boring. Derrick - I found him boring pre-season, but I appreciate that he knows the game well. I could come to really like him. Devin - Pre-season fave, now I think he's godawful. A horrible gamer, he's doing all the wrong thing. Physical threat, trying to be a leader, obviously seeking a win. He's gone pre-jury. Donny - He's adorable and funny. If he can make it past the first few weeks, I see him lingering on. Frankie - You love him or hate him. I love this guy. BB fans need to respect that he's one of the most knowledgeable about BB in the house. His problem will be that he's so noticeable. He has all the social game and strategy in the world, he just needs to keep hush hush Andy-style. Hayden - Pre-season fave, delivering exactly what I wanted. Jocasta - Nice, bubbly personality. Archetypical edit aside, I think she could have a killer social game. Get rid of the bowties. Joey - Don't love her, but she's on our team, so I'd better start. Nicole - Pre-season fave. She's going to coast far, no doubt about it. She could easily win if she brings out strategy near the end. I predicted her and Christine aligning pre-season, which I would love. Paola - Annoying, yet kinda likeable? Too noticeable. Victoria - Disliked her the most pre-season, so I hope to see some endearing qualities soon. Zach - I find him hilarious. Watching him will be very fun this summer, if he can hold his tongue. As for thoughts on the premier: - I'm shocked BB was okay with the first 8 having such a gigantic advantage. They could connect, form alliances, and be alone to talk things out. Then the next 8 came and have none of those advantages, but the first 8 can still connect easily with them. Very skewed. - I love the twists. It's almost Hunger Games-esque with each HoH nominating tributes. But there's a focus on challenges, that will hurt a lot of people who are just strategic. My favorite 2 guys and girls right now are Frankie, Hayden, Christine and Nicole.
Thus far the only people I do not like are Paola and Victoria. Favorites are Jocasta, Zach, Amber, and Christine.
This new intro makes me sad, like really sad :(
Wow. They are making these girls look like a bunch of fools..
Wow. They are making these girls look like a bunch of fools..
Hopefully the girls prove them wrong
How are they gonna call out floaters on the first week? I hope that the girls alliance pulls though because another guy's alliance/brigade dominance will be so boring.
