I don't know why the house doesn't like Andrew, he is a bit dorky and his excitement over Rachel was more than weird, but he seems like a nice guy all around.
Monday night-Tuesday night was a holiday called T'sha Ba'av (the 19 of the hebrew month of Av) It's a fast day and you can't eat or drink for 25 hours. You pray and sleep for most of the time!
