I notice that the posts concerning Big Brother 9 have come to a trickle. Seems that this cast wore out their welcome in only 12 days! Is that a record?
Maybe I'm failing at my job at starting the discussion? I just haven't had time in the past couple of days to give any updates.
I think BB9 is a train wreck but with any train wreck people will still watch even if they are disgusted with what they are seeing.
There's a noticeable dip in the ratings, as well as traffic on the live feeds. I'm sure you're probably seeing a dip in search hits.
Anyway, I'll still provide the updates and watch the feeds for as long as it's on.
Personally I just think it's been relatively calm in the house and once things heat up again the interest will pick up.

Well if you are not posting, I am not getting any Big Brother, lol! I just don't have the level of interest to head all the way over to jokers and read through 50 pages of nonsense to find out what is happening. At least you are watching the feeds, which does give some insight. :D
I am barely interested enough to reply to this thread stating that I have lost interest. ;)
Just kidding, I have just had a really busy week, and I missed Weds ep and haven't had a chance to see it, but starting Sunday things are going to settle down and I will play catch up on the episode and reading the update summaries.
I love BB but this season isn't very interesting. Sex, sex, blow jobs, talking shit...... the teams thing isn't really doing it for me. Then again neither are the guys, lol
NBC announced the cancellation of Las Vegas. I think it was doing better than Big Brother...
I can understand NBC's decision...it's been declining for years, but I think it blows that we are left hanging like that. Not that I particularly cared for Delinda, I just wanted to know that there is a happily ever after and the baby is okay.

The strike is going to be brutal to the fans of many fringe shows that would have gotten a back 9 pickup but were not slated for renewal. I am hearing that Friday Night Lights (also canned) could show up on another network or maybe even be wrapped up in a movie of the week. Meanwhile Las Vegas is done, done, done.
Nothing like building a dedicated fan following over half a decade and then pulling out the rug...
...and looking at the numbers, you are absolutely right V1man. It pulled 7+ million (2.2/ 7 among adults 18-49) last Friday. Big Brother would probably be wallowing in CW sized numbers if they moved the houseguests to death row (a.k.a Friday.)
