I guess I'm going off the idea that he seemingly just went up to Wes and said "I'm not sacred of you" with no real reason to (unless I missed Wes saying something)
and then he said he wanted to "**** with Robb," then in the middle of Zach telling him to calm down he pushed Robb.
I know he's a camera *****, but it was just obnoxious.
I agree Frank is just a drama queen, God when he was in Wes' face I was like, "LOL look this guy trying to be a bad *** or something"
Ok. After really examining the episode, I totally get a gay vibe between frank and Zach. I think at least frank has feelings for Zach and Zach is merely entertaining his affections back.
I wouldn't claim he started stuff for no reason. He seemed pretty smashed to me, and in that environment that's just a recipe for fights to happen. Also remember he loves his camera time, so some of that could have been contrived.
He started stuff for no reason, it was mainly him being a drunken idiot. He was yelling at everyone sitting at that table, you couldn't hear it but he was yelling at Derek then started yelling at Robb then probably said something to Wes then Wes says you look like an idiot which he totally did, then he says why are you such a ******* **** talker and goes ape **** as if he was gonna really hit him . Then he kinda like falls on Danny and Danny gets up and starts yelling as if hes Wes' bodyguard while Wes just sits there. And what was really stupid is he then yells at Sam and freaks out and tries to run at her like he was gonna fight her too. The guy is a moron, he tries to act tough and flip out over nothing. It's ridiculous how Zach had to sit on him to restrain him you'd think someone just insulted his mother or something.
Frank and Zach remind me of Tyler and Johnny. Thats all I'm saying.
I don't, those 2 didn't get along cause of stuff that happened in the game, it wasn't anything personal and Johnny isn't a homophobe, but Zach and Frank are trying to pretend to be Johnny/Tyler and Laurel/Cara Maria, the whole "they used to hate eachother now they're in love" BS. Does anyone else get the vibe that Zach/Frank's bromance is just BS? Or maybe just Zach is. Zach went from being this homophobe to being his this super tolerant gay man lover. I think Zach is just doing it so he doesn't get anymore hate cause surprise it's not cool to hate gays, I'd really like to see how he reacts if his son was gay. The way he treats Dustin is proof of that. And Frank, what a moron. Frank making fun of Dustin is so ******** he's like oh he's so gay he sucks *****, what, is he saying that so Zach will like him more? So they can both gang up on him on twitter? If a straight man said that then its like saying I'm calling you gay cause a man sucking another man's **** is nasty and it makes you less of man or something. So I don't get why Frank says that **** cause he ****s men too, this does not help the anti bullying **** that he should be preaching. ******* hypocrite, in his season he was trying to make people tolerant and now look at what he's doing. How would he like it if he came onto the challenge and everyone treated him the way Zach did on RW?
What's wrong with Ashleys personality?
Some people dislike her because she is more normal than other contestants. She doesnt really get into the drama or the hardcore party scene, she is more chill. I think some people conflict this show with real life. If you are really looking to settle down and have a normal life with a girl Ashley would be the way to go. If you are looking for a good time and wild crazy life, then Jonna would be the way to go.

I'm from the Los Angeles area, and there's a large gay population in Hollywood (particularly in West Hollywood). I've grown up with gay people around me and one thing I've noticed that a select number of them do (obviously, this doesn't mean all of them) is make an effort to prove specific straight men are gay. They will go out of their way to tell everyone "he can't be straight because A, B, and C..." or something to that extent. Now, I know that Dustin did his whole frat house thing, but I hear there are a lot of gay for pay actors in ****. Apparently it pays more, and if you're from a messed up house with not a lot of money, why not have sex for money and have fun while doing it? Some people really enjoy sex.
Point I'm trying to make, though, is that it isn't uncommon for an LGBT member to go out of their way an call a hetero person a derogatory gay term or whatever. (Hey, we saw Preston call Ryan a ****** on B2NOLA).
As far as Frank and Zach's bromance goes, I don't think it's all that contrived. I remember the end of one episode of RW B2SD involved Ashley and Zach accompanying Frank to some clothing store where Zach dressed in incredibly gay clothing and was having a good time. I can believe that he's opened his mind to the idea that gay people are okay.
Isn't that the point of the Real World (other than getting hammered every night)? Remember Coral and Mike on Back to NY? Mike was incredibly uneducated and ignorant when it came to black history, and Coral made it an effort to educate him about it. Now they're like best friends and had each others backs on the challenges they went on together.
People change. :D

Zach isn't a homophobe, I think he just couldn't stand Frank.
Now he's nice to Frank because my guess is, they both have big problems with Ashley, because Ashley dumped him. What I wonder is why...I saw that relationship lasting a while, but guess not.

Very true. I don't think Frank is good athletic at all. He is in good team but that's it. Half of past guys in this season would beat him.

Why do you think Zach is a homophobe? The only thing I remember him saying was “I’ll beat the gay out of you”, and I definitely think that was homophobic, but I don’t think he’s a homophobe.
And their friendship doesn’t seem fake to me. I wouldn’t call it a bromance yet, but they’ve obviously worked on their friendship.
I agree, Frank is being really stupid and rude insulting Dustin, but when has Frank been a rational person, let’s been honest here.
By the way, the censor thing didn't work lol.

I think he is/was a homophobe cause he was so uncomfortable around gays and him and Ashley didn't wana go to Sam's gay thing (sorry can't remember what it was) and come on, in this day and age who the F is still that uncomfortable around gay people, he was so freaked out when Frank was with his bf. I can understand he was an 80 year old Christian man but this guy is just a bully and Frank is just a moron period. Don't go saying be tolerant of others then go and treat others bad for doing something gay, I don't get why gay men call other men ****** as an insult either.
Frank is so obnoxious and vile. He clearly has a drinking problem and after acting the way he acted on his season you would think perhaps he'd learn and grow from seeing himself on tv and try to change his behavior......the premiere of BOTSeasons showed he's exactly the same and still likes to get belligerently drunk and rude for screen time.
It sucks cause I actually like the San Diego team but Frank just ruins it for me. He's just absolutely repulsive in the way he acts and treats people.
What's wrong with Ashleys personality?
Well...based on her edit for her season, she doesn't really have much of one, at least not compared to Jonna. I'm sure it's different in real life, but hey, I watch reality TV to judge what I see on the screen.
About Frank...totally agree that it's absurd that he can hate on Dustin for his past, yet be all up in everyone's grill about tolerance during his season. WTF man?
I think it would be sooo satisfying if everyone in the house dealt with frank the same way Wes did...with amused, pitying silence. People like Frank thrive on drama. Don't give him the satisfaction.
I'll put my 2 cents in about Frank.
He honestly didn't bother me that much. I mean yeah he did come off looking like an idiot getting into it with Robb and Wes but to tell you the truth I didn't mind it...although I have a feeling I'm going to end up hating him later on in the season. For now I don't mind him.

Yea I didn't watch much of SD but I did watch the episodes that focused on LGBT issues, and I can't believe I felt bad for that guy. I really thought he was being sincere about wanting people to accept him and be tolerant of his lifestyle and I felt bad for him when Zach was acting like he's gross. But now screw him. You can't say I'm so anti-bullying yet go pick on Dustin and the girls. Like I'm sure Heather has heard enough crap about Dustin from others on Twitter, it's getting old. Some people have been very harsh to her on Twitter, it's not like she did anything wrong by dating Dustin.
Frank is just a drama queen, you know you're over reacting if you're yelling and screaming and your teammates are trying to hold you back and the other guy is still sitting there. I think he purposely gets drunk just to start crap, and imo that's not entertaining, that's just obnoxious. Good TV is when there is a real reason to be arguing and both of them are involved, not 1 guy acts like a psycho and the other just watches.

I don't think Frank is pissed about Dustin's lifestyle. I get the feeling that he will be annoyed that Dustin lies and has lied about what went down on that Fratpad show. Frank probably feels that Dustin's some kind of disgrace tothe gay community. Or something like that.

I think Zach and Ashley didn’t like Frank, not his homosexuality. Maybe they were uncomfortable with him being so sexual all over the house, but that hardly means they’re homophobes. And they got along with Michael, or whatever Frank’s boyfriend‘s name was...
Concerning Sam’s lesbian night thing… I don’t hate people who listen to rock music, but that doesn’t mean I wanna go to a bar that plays rock music all night. It's just not my scene.
I definitely don't think they behaved the right way, but I'm still on their side, as you can tell ^^

THIS.
In the clip that MTv posted last week, it looked like they were getting into it because Dustin was talking crap about Frank and Derek kissing. It feels like he's calling him out on being a hypocrite and an *** much the way Mike did on that RW season.

The only thing that bothered me about them was the way they acted about service members being honored. Those people fight for their freedom and they're big jokes to them just because they're gay?

Not being tolerant of intolerance is not the same thing as not being tolerant of gay people. Gay people don't control their attractions. People like Dustin can stop their annoying, homophobic, and overcompensating behavior. Big difference there.
AND I think Dustin's attitude is what caused it based on a clip posted by MTV last week. We shall see...
I didn't watch their season but I don't get how anyone is defending Frank based on everything that has been said.
Zach and Ashley apparently got along with some guy that was gay on the show which would indicate they're not intolerant of gays. Maybe they just simply hated Frank or the way he acted or countless other things. Also, I have friends that are gay but I would never go to anything dealing with "gay rights" because I would be uncomfortable there as would many people that are tolerant. Take anyone out of their normal environment and they're typically uncomfortable. That's normal.
Just from the premier I absolutely can't stand Frank. He seems like an awful person regardless of his sexuality. I wouldn't support anything he did. Pretty sure he'll fight with everyone at some point. He even attacked Sam's girlfriend during his drunken tirade. Again, Frank = awful human being.

It was just a general comment. People seem to dislike Zach & Ashley based on what happened in SD and just watching 5 seconds of Frank I have no doubt he was the main problem. If I was living in a house with him and was close to someone else I would have completely distanced myself from him and anyone he was close to just to avoid the drama.
People seem to be defending Frank already without even seeing what occurred with Dustin. Like you're simply assuming Dustin is in the wrong. He very well may be true but Frank seems just like an insufferable human being that creates drama out of any situation. I would assume Frank is in the wrong until it is proven that he's not. If Dustin is to blame then blame him after we see how if plays out but I wouldn't rule out Frank simply attacking Dustin just for the hell of it. Like, what did Robb do?

Are you kidding? 90% of this board is up Zach's butt and was even during the season.
It just seems like people have to reiterate how uncomfortable with gays they are (for the THOUSANDTH time) when ever the SD season comes up and it's obnoxious. And this is coming from someone who hated Frank.

Strange. If you check out that board or youtube comments or anything else, Zach was a folk hero for people to use to release their frustrations about gay people.
