Battle of the Seasons: Brooklyn - Chet, JD, Sarah, Devyn

As Chet notes, "I can't say that I love every single person on my team, but I can go play these games and just leave that in the past until we win the money." Like teammates Chet and JD, Sarah is a Challenge veteran and hungry for a spot at the top of the podium, stressing, "This is Challenge #6 for me. Sure, I've made it to some finals, but I've never won. I just want to win." Sarah may have the strength and desire to propel her team to the Finals, but she risks losing her laser focus when she begins a romance with one of the toughest players in Challenge history. Brooklyn's wild card comes in the curvaceous form of rookie player Devyn, a former beauty queen who may be more concerned with her beloved $$1,000 wigs than trips to the gym. Though she may wear dresses and heels around the house, Devyn is excited to rediscover her inner athlete, explaining, "They see this girlie girl, but I took flying lessons, wakeboarding lessons, skiing lessons!" Where the hell does Chet come off as an authority on working out? I can't stand this little twerp, I want him gone fast. And hopefully he will take Sarah with him & neither will ever return. I would much rather see Devyn & JD compete for the $$ solo.

Chet can be annoying but maybe he was worse during his season--he wasn't awful on the Ruins or Cutthroat. Also, Sarah & Chet are better competitors than Devyn and JD--let's be real.

She's starting to remind me of Paula...Her talking about this being her 6th challenge and her wanting to win so badly. It reminded me of Paula at the beginning of Cutthroat talking about the same thing.

She was definitely going to be on this one after getting kicked off because Vinny's an idiot on the last one. MTV makes them talk about how many challenges without a win--really not that big of deal. If she was completely useless (like a Casey) then I'd agree but Sarah's solid.

It's been how many years since Real World Brooklyn and they are still talking **** on Devyn, oh and Sarah has joined in. So much for the BFF forever they were trying to sell at the reunion. LOL. Chet makes for great TV but I do still have to wonder where Scott has been hiding. Go Brooklyn! Loved their season!

It is called being competitive and wanting to win. Aint no shame in that.

The challenges will eventually be cancelled and they will all move forward to a boring normal lifestyle...why the hell not do these while you can. She is still going to school and is still young, if I was her I would continue until this show was over for good.

Thankfully, she's a solid competitor that enjoys these--that's good enough for me. Keep people like her and mix in new people--that should keep everyone happy.

I will never understand people like her & Paula being invited back. Give us new and interesting characters, they are washed up and over used.

I mean, BMP isn't simply catering to those that watch the Real World. I hope Sarah does 10 in a row personally. Keep introducing new players but keep some of the old. Sarah is back for a reason--just like Paula. You don't have to like her but you should comprehend that some people do. BMP needs to create a cast that will get the most possible viewers. Sarah helps them achieve that whether or not you want to see her on these challenges or not.

I don't watch the RW so I can't say why--based on the comments it seems like people expect drama Ryan from Fresh Meat? I mean, he did make a final and was one of the last people eliminated twice (Gauntlet 3 & FM2). Not exactly useless. Not someone I necessarily want to see but not someone that I'm annoyed that they're on the show.

I know a lot of casual fans, when I informed them Sarah was back they had no idea who she was. Besides a successful rookie story on Ruins name one thing she has contributed to the show besides being Kenny/Evan's puppet.

The only times she hasn't made a final is when she was paired with Vinny or Katelynn--not many people would with those partners. I find Sarah entertaining but I watch for competition--I don't need drama. Like Landon was drama free but I'd like to see him on every challenge. Not everyone is looking for the same thing which is why they need a good mix. This cast has that IMO--we'll have to see how it plays out though but if you're going to have a "Brooklyn" team you absolutely have to have Sarah over Katelynn. There's no doubt about that. I don't know the other two guys on the Brooklyn season (Scott & Ryan) so I can't say Chet & JD were needed but Sarah & Devyn were the right picks IMO--unless there's another woman I'm unaware of that could be interested. If anyone watches the Challenges and doesn't know who Sarah is after the past 5 shows then they really aren't watching--at all.

Or is she really as forgettable as everyone said she was? I don't think she's been contacted at all to be on these challenges either...IDK well I kind of liked her during the show, but I guess BMP didn't? I wonder if Ryan or Scott were contacted as well, I would much rather have seen one of them on this team instead of JD.
