So i've read on some form that tiffany blogged offsite (wasn't the oxygen, I already checked) that the Tanisha prank actually happened the week before they were to leave the house...

Yes and it makes a lot of sense. It looked like Whit and Ailea were just edited into the episode.
A week before they were to be done filming or a week before they went on vacation?

I don't know I remember Tiffany being really pissed when that happened, and to me it doesn't seem liked she'd react the same way after the whole fight in Mexico happened. Could be wrong and if I am, I think they edited it pretty well to make it seem that way.
Just remember that Bad Girls Club is cut in the same editing room as are Real World and the challenges.

Supposedly it was after the Cancun thing. The whole reason why the Ambers did the pranks was to get back at the fake five for doing all the things to them.
It really does make sense if you think about it.

It makes sense as to it happening but when I saw that episode (which I thought was pretty funny) it appeared, to me, anyway that they are the ones that started the pranks. That is why Tiff got mad, and sad she'd get even and what made the fake 5 start doing their pranks.

If that really happened the week before filming wrapped, Boston wouldn't have still been there.

That doesn't mean anything. The editing sucks and I truely think the Tanisha thing came after Cancun especially after reading the blog. I read it awhile ago and I honestly forget where it was, or I would post it. Why would Tiff be lying? She has no reason to lie about anything.

The person I heard this from originally said that she read that Ashli wasn't there, or something...I'll have to find the post again.
Apparently it said something along the lines of "the producers told Ashley to hide" so they knew they were going to use the segment out of order.
BTW, just re-watched the Tanisha webisode (the 10 minute episodes) on Oxygen, and I seen the casino sign on the fireplace. (the casino episode was when Ashley was there). So there is at least some proof.
Also, isn't it kind of weird that no one mentioned anything to Boston or Ailea about the whole prank and nothing was said about it ever again? Think about it.

Along with the casino sign still up on the fire place, no one mentioning the prank to Ailea and Boston, there's also the lack of tan lines on the girls in certain parts of the episode (mainly when Tanisha is there, you can see tan-lines, and when Sarah gets excited over her playboy pictures, you can't see tan-lines.)
