Wow, people obviously have no idea how it is decided who carried the belt. Of course its written, but first of the writers don't decide it. Creative does. Big difference. second, in order to even be thought of to carry the title wrestlers have to prove themselves, work their way up, became a superstar in the WWE and show promise. Mike worked hard for this, congrats to him. And to top it all off, he is hosting the after show according to MTV. Nice to see he appreciates the real world/challenge experience.
Yeah - I've seen tweets from Mike to BMP and he seems very thankful for the experience and the platform it provided. It's good to see that. Some people who find success beyond The Real World like to try to act like they weren't a part of it.

Although you don't really have to prove yourself I mean, John Cena is the current champ and he can only do a fixed numbers (5) moves... Whoever brings in the money for Vince gets the gold.
You must not have watched his match with CM Punk 2 Sundays ago or his match with Rey Mysterio last night. *On topic* Maybe Miz will bust out a "hoorah" tomorrow?
Of course I did :D CM Punk is making the biggest buzz in the biz right now, Miz isn't anymore. Miz will get it again in time, but the spotlight is on CM Punk and John Cena, which is why both are champs right now.
You do know The Miz didn't do the Hoorah thing first right?
You do know The Miz didn't do the Hoorah thing first right?
Possibly. Was it Latterian who did it first?
I always thought it was Laterrian
How AWESOME is it that The Miz is coming back?! Even if it's just to host the after-show.
I saw it on another thread and on Twitter, a lot of people saying he's bringing ratings back up for Rivals. I highly doubt that though. The Miz is just one man, he's got star power but he's not that big, he's just recently breaking out in the industry. He's very well known in the WWE now, yes, but if you were to go up to someone on the street and ask them "Do you know The Miz?" they probably wouldn't know who he is. He's no Rock or Steve Austin or Undertaker yet just to name a few that pop into people's heads when one brings up wrestling. Even the WWE is lacking in ratings right now, barely pulling in 2.0's on their shows weekly. I love him and I'm glad to see him again, I just don't think he's that big yet to spike the ratings up by a lot.

Recently they've been pulling in high 2.0's. Rajah.com and LordsOfPainWrestling have been talking about it a lot recently on how the ratings are declining.
I always thought it was Laterrian
Yep. It was Latterrian.

But the ratings were below 3 twice, and that was for the taped fourth of July episode and then the one the same day as the home run derby and other things. The Rock brought ratings to 3.8, not 3. They're practically always at least slightly above 3, only in rare situations do they not achieve it. Trust me, I would know this. I don't know how much you follow wrestling and news and all, but I doubt it's more than I do.

The July 25th edition of WWE RAW drew 3.2 rating with 4.8 million people watching. A trend worth noting is that show opened with a 3.01 in the first hour and climbed to a 3.4 for the final hour. This week’s viewership was virtually even with last week’s post-Money in the Bank RAW. Thanks SEScoops :)
Back to the Miz please...
So Miz is hosting these aftershows? Awesome. If anything it's good to see a one time Challenge vet involved with the shows again even if it's for hosting.
My memory is blurry........was the last time we saw Mike on a challenge the Inferno 2??? Didn't he get pissed cause they didn't have an actual reunion for I2 or something and that has been the last time we saw him??
I think Miz was on a few of the "Greatest Challenge Moments" shows they had a few years back (after the first Duel, I think). That was the last time we saw him do anything challenge related I believe. He did a great job hosting the after show, I thought. I loved it when CT came on stage and they hugged and Miz said, "I don't know anyone on these shows now. I was happy to see you're still doing these!" Made me miss the old days...

The only other people on Rivals that he did a challenge with was Aneesa and Robin on Battle of the Sexes 2 and Robin again on Inferno 2. However, they obviously aren't going to be on an after show with Mike.
I never thought I would long for the days of The Miz. He was annoying & cocky but miles more likeable than Kenny, Evan, Tyler, Johnny, Mandi, Laurel...basically the majority of the cast of Rivals.
Loved him he did a amazing job hopefully WWE allows him and clears him to host more aftershows!.
Loved him he did a amazing job hopefully WWE allows him and clears him to host more aftershows!.
He did! I really liked him as host, not scared to say anything but still pretty respectable. Although I've only watched about 10 minutes of the aftershow so far lol.
My souls bleeds at the fact that I forgot to DVR the aftershow. And of course MTV seems to think it wise to have nothing but Jersey Shore playing for the rest of eternity.
Adam was very briefly on BOTS 2, I believe.
Yep, Adam was on BOTS2.....he was sent home second or third I think. Seeing Mike last night made me really miss the days when the Challenges were AMAZING (Challenge 2000, BOTSeasons, BOTSexes, Gauntlet, Inferno) before the overkill of Fresh Meat, Austin, and Key West kids.

I'm very big fan of Mike and I really miss him, but... In the aftershow he was a lil bit annoying. For me.. However, Team Mike 'The Miz forever!

My insides were jumping up and down when I saw he was hosting the aftershow. It really makes me miss the good ol' days. I really wish BMP would get a clue and stop treating their cast like lab rats. LET them get out of the house, at the very least. I'm happy to see that the Rivals cast got out a little bit. I hope that if these challenges continue that some things change. Did anyone watch the extra footage on MTV.com of Mike talking 'game strategy', etc?
The Miz just awarded the cast of Glee with a Teen Choice Award.
