A lot of people say that and then when tempted return. The show is a lot more easy and kush now. I don't think they even lose much weight anymore. It's 2 weeks shorter and in better conditions than when she competed. However, Taj is probably a firm no sadly.
The misconception with the new era is that they don't lose weight but it's not true. Charlie lost 22 pounds in 26 days which is crazy. Even people like sifu who didn't make jury lost a ton weight for such a short time

Charlie also put on the weight to prepare which makes it easier to shed. I gained weight in a short period and then only cut out sodas while still eating fast food every day and lost 18 lbs in a 30 days. 26 days compared to 39 is a big difference. Even the 3 extra days in Australia made a big difference. I think there are some old school players who have said "no" in the past because of the toll it took on their bodies who would be more willing to say "yes" with the new conditions. Taj I don't think is one of those bc her bad experience seemed to go beyond the physical toll.
Along with the short 26 days they also feed them pretty much constantly with the sanctuary rewards... Most people do not lose signifance amount of weight anymore. I don't notice a drastic difference in most of the 3 finalists in the new era

Some people have trouble going without food for 1 hour and 26 days is 624x as long as 1 hour.
