politics have become a lot more polarized since trumps first election. if all it came down to was solving a problem one way or another way, nobody would gaf about who votes for who. but when the far right has made their entire personality racism and transphobia, i think it's pretty clear why somebody wouldn't respect their opinion nor want to befriend somebody w those views.

There are definitely people like that out there. We have one on our board who is pretty open about it, but I don't think most right are racist or transphobic. They might disagree with allowing transwomen to compete in women's sports but I don't think it's out of malice, I think it's more out of fairness. However, I get your point and support not associating with people like that are racist and bigots.

Now they are all culty, and I am very anti-cults so I am not part of either political party and will not vote again until things change.
