I agree. I think the production team is trying to create an engaging format, but it is really more convoluted than anything.

Beefing with Melissa and Big T like he's living his little mean girls fantasy thinking it's fun and cutesy to be a fake c^unt. Speaking on Amanda and bragging about how a lot of castmates he's in group chats in talk shit about her behind her back? Like, why are you so proud of having friends that only talk shit in group chats but can't say it to her face? Cause yr a fake ***** like the rest of them? ******.
I didn't like his beef with Melissa and Big T, especially the way he continued to disrespect Big T on social media. He's definitely the villian. I just feel like people overreact to Corey more than if it was Shane or Frank, or even a straight male like Zach for yelling at women. Corey was painted as the big, aggressive black male on 39. I'm not with people pearl clutching every little thing Corey does on a show that is SUPPOSED to be messy just because he's against people I may like.
I see where you are coming from, but I will say that those two get tons of hate as well. Peopled hateddddd Shane in Final Reckoning (myself included) and people only like Frank cause he's been gone for a while, but they hated him back then too. I may have to rewatch Frank's seasons and I may be wrong but I don't remember him every being fake, just a psychopath. Shane has had snakey and shady moments though and I'm always gonna side eye him cause I feel he would backstab anyone if push comes to shove. But he's also shown loyalty at times
Corey is def better than those two when it comes to misogyny though, I'll give him that. Shane and especially Frank have been way more overty nasty towards women.
Skye has said that the casting team works with a pool of 300 potential cast members that are divided based on gender and longevity on the show. I wonder how this plays into casting for the current season.

I've liked Nehemiah a lot more since I decided to watch Real World: Austin. You really see how likable and entertaining he is in that, he just unfortunately isn't a priority to Challenge producers so we don't get to see that often.
