You need more empathy and morals. Joking about the death of someone and celebrating a murderer who is clearly in a mental breakdown is weird behavior. The whole situation is sad and disturbing. So anytime someone deems someone "bad" they can just go cowardly shoot them cold in the street? So gun control is no longer an issue?
Ok, I didn't want to talk about this but maybe here's the best way to get it off my chest.
It's sad that that boy threw his whole life away for an assassination. And maybe the CEO himself was simply a fall guy for a predatory industry and maybe he was a good guy in his personal life. People in general shouldn't celebrate a murder. It's vigilante justice and immoral. We should be above it.
But I am enjoying the online reaction to it. The rich are continuously pushing for an oligarchy and they need to be reminded that society is very fragile and if they get too greedy this whole place can turn in 1793 France REAL QUICK.
I'll say it one more time and let it be, I don't condone murder. I don't agree, I just think this timeline is interesting and seeing peoples reactions expressed where we as a society stand IMO. I used to work with claims in health insurance, and knowing people would get denied treatment or even transportation for treatment was always very difficult to forget. Sometimes these people don't have the help, it's unfortunate when healthcare should be a basic need that all humans should have access to. I work with tech stuff now within health insurance so I'm far removed from all of that atm but I remember what a horrible feeling it was to see appeals denied.
One more thing: he documented some kind of blog/diary about his moms health and what happened with the insurance. I suggest people give that a read. He was not in a good headspace due to his moms health, and the pushback they were getting from the insurance so it delayed treatment for months.
i can't imagine how I'd feel or what my headspace would be if my dads insurance gave us pushback or run around for cancer treatment when he had cancer.
A lot of people don't go to the hospital even if they have something wrong with them because they don't want to get stuck with some high *** bill that they can't afford at all. So i'm more sad for luigi because he's going to get locked up for life than that other man who perished. I wish luigi went at it another way to bring light against the issue but you can't tell people how to act when their literal BACK is against the wall! We need free healthcare for ALL!
