Meh Cara would've always been relevant with or without Laurel. Drama follows her every where she goes. If anything Cara's drama with Wes/Paula/Jenn and crew gave Laurel the opportunity to defend her partner and start that storyline. If Laurel was paired with someone boring like Katelyn she'd just be Kenny's housewife until her inevitable elimination.
