Most of the regulars they have now will be over 40 by then and the OG's like bananas ct, aneesa, wes, cara and laurel would be close to 50.... do people really wanna see senior citizens still acting like jackasses and trying to relive their former youth? This shit probably gets cancelled before then especially when they arent trying to build a new generation they just take 1-2 rookies to bring back each season and then never call back the rest lol
Tori is annoying this season? Or is just annoying she's good at the game?
I'd also put Kaycee in blah. Josh is the worst of all time
Tori is annoying because she doesn't even have to play the game. She relies on four personal connections to take her to the end of the game. She has an annoying air of arrogance basically all the time now. It stinks of Jordan.
Kaycee is literally Challenge Security that is somehow a contestant. Doesn't have to play the game, doesn't have to self-nominate, doesn't have to talk. She's a charisma vacuum. Even the editors hate her. She has 12 confessionals this season. Amanda had 13.
On average the show reaches a milestone season every 7 years.
Season 1: Road Rules All Stars (1998)
Season 10: The Inferno 2 (2005) - 7 years
Season 20: Cutthroat (2010) - 5 years (the exception)
Season 30: XXX (2017) - 7 years
Season 40: Battle of the Eras (2024) - 7 years
That means we're looking at 2031 for season 50. Most OGs born in the 1970s and early 1980s will be in their 50s. People like Beth will be in their 60s. The rest (early to mid 1980s-early '90s will be in their 40s and people like Amanda and Tori in their late 30s).
I'm going to mis the Aviv/Darrell interactions and Fresh Meat flashbacks. Although annoyed he did her dirty in that one episode, but he then redeemed himself after putting two pull ups in her place.
Is worrying most needed to write down addition, subtraction, and multiplication. More physical elims are definitely needed.
Kaycee is absolutely worthless. It makes me sick to my stomach that she's taking up space while amber wasn't even called for this monumental season. We were robbed of seeing an Amber/era 4 dynamic.
Kaycee provides as much as Amber--Amber's just better to look at
What a trash take on Amber. Every season she been on has provided something unlike kayce
Yes, as long as it's on MTV. It's their most popular show. However it does baffle me that they don't invest in new talent. Even the era 4 people they do callback are in their 30s. I'm all for bringing back OGs for as long as they are providing, but they HAVE to get younger talent, people in their early 20s willing to be messy and get hurt.

as much as I don't care for Darrell, I think he would have won a head to head elim against Kyland the sweat.

reality television is finally evolving to include majority 35+ people and I prefer it that way. The days of rookies debuting at 19 are over and unnecessary. Old people have more flavor.

But they also have carreers, families, and things to lose. 21-25 year olds wouldn't care.

When you are nominated and not in power you'll get less confessionals though. Of course she has very few right now.

What has Amber provided? Honest question...maybe I'm wrong. I don't remember anything she's done. I remember others doing thing and her reacting but nothing she's done.

I prefer the older people too. But that doesn't work for the Challenge. It's one of the few reality competition shows that requires the same people to come back each season. We can't have rookies starting out at 35. They're only going to last a season or 2 before wanting to get married, have kids, and move on to careers that don't involve getting hurt. And unless you're Laurel or Cara, more likely to be mature in your 30s than you were in your early 20s.

Hasn't this show taught us that they're always still the same person--it could be decades and a couple kids later and they never change
I don't disagree about people moving on but I'm not convinced we need rookies--these vets are happy to keep doing the show and they're still providing

That's because the vets we have now started reality tv in their early 20s, lol. Love them still, but Darrell, Katie, Nia, etc. are a shadow of what they were. Which is fine, people should grow.
I actually don't think that was revealed until quite late, like a week before the episode IIRC.
If I cared this much about lesbian drama I would've watched The L Word instead.
Nope Amber's supporting cast that needs others to make her relevant. Like Cara.
These eliminations have been kinda terrible tbh. I don't know what they were thinking
does this show make it to season 50?
probably.

The show's not making it to 50 because MTV isn't going to be around in 2032. I hope it can make it to 45.
wtf lol
as much as I don't care for Darrell, I think he would have won a head to head elim against Kyland the sweat.
I've been counting the good and bad ones and I think this one wasn't too bad imo
could have been better tho

idc gen z cannot keep this show alive on their own.

Biggest example is Olivia, what does she bring...
Olivia is 32, she's not Gen Z.
I don't know that botched hideous looking jumpscare dinosaurs age, my bad.
I just hate math eliminations. I'm fine with puzzles but watching people do math bores me so much
