Lock the thread and move on.

So over this topic.

nothing they said changes anything, pegs in the wall count (they didn't factor in pegs coming out of the wall). Then saying they did the math about Horacio's ball getting stuck and having to put his pegs in; ignoring how that changes all activities going forward. Saying Horacio lost by a second when he was leisurely putting in his last peg says differently.

The fact is that when Production saw Jenny putting the pegs back in, the point should've been reiterated before the Derrick and Horacio round. But the main issue is Production making shit boards and a shit slide where it was even possible for the pegs to fall out or the ball to get stuck that caused all of these subsequent problems.

The show seems to care very little about its integrity as a competition at all. Which is sad. There's a reason that Survivor gets nominated for Emmys every year even when they have a ton of boring, dogshit seasons in a row. The Challenge is just too annoyingly sloppy around the margins.

None of this is gonna matter in the end. Horacio will be back for one or two more seasons before he gets dropped, and Nurys will be here until she gets pregnant.

It doesn't though.  I can't stand Derrick and I like Horacio but Horacio was wrong here likely because of the overreaction by Nurys.  We have no clue who truly won.  Can't argue that we do.

I have a bigger issue with the Nia-Amanda elimination when Nia's ball wasn't considered dead and we all know I dislike Amanda more than anyone on this show.

I'm sure there's either a time limit for the ball to be free, the defender has to wrap up the offensive player while the ball is free, or the ball has to roll out of the circle for it to be dead. Amanda never wrapped Nia up while the ball was loose and the ball was loose for only a couple of seconds.

I'm kinda feeling like Laurel was somewhat justified in being pissed at Darrell lol? I just rewatched the Darrell vs Tony elimination and Laurel is the one that leads Darrell to doing the right pattern. So it makes sense for her to feel some type of way with him making her a target. The massage comment was insane of course. But the "F  ck you, Darrell" makes sense lol.

Laurel needs to be popped one good time. She's great TV and one of the few authentic people left, but she goes too far sometimes.

I doubt anyone is saying Laurel was wrong for feeling some type of way about Darrell choosing her but why even bring up his marriage and weaponize a harmless massage. Thats the unhinged part.

These are grown *** adults playing a game.  They target people; people target them.  They should know better than to take it personal.  The hypocrisy of being upset soneone is targeting you in a game when you are targeting people to get rid of is laughable.

TBF, there's a lot of immature, insecure idiots on this show.  Veterans like Laurel, though, should know better...

As a Darrell stan I wasnt even mad that Laurel was mad. Im honestly surprised he targeted her over Emily, but yeah I just feel like going after his marriage was wack. And she did it so effortlessly lmao, like what..

I feel this way about quite a few reality tv people, and I definitely agree on her

This and she just said **** you Darrell and only said the marriage comment after he clapped back. Not like she got in his face and made a whole show. He targeted her, she was surprised so yeah she's gonna get a few words in. If Darrell did that to Cara she would 100% make comments too (maybe not the marriage)

So they can put the VMAs on Paraflop the next day but not The Challenge?

So they can put the VMAs on Paraflop the next day but not The Challenge?

it's so confusing. they also put the challenge next day on P+ in canada.

Hi everyone, this has been a long time. As a huge Derrick fan, I just had to come see this forum to see how the responses were after his 2 elimination wins and the horrible editing of the elim vs Horacio. Quick disclaimer: I haven't watched yesterdays episode yet.

I've read a lot of comments on the subject of the elim vs Horacio. Apparently, production put the pegs that fell out of Derrick's board back in? Might seem a bit unfair at first, however as soon as he takes the pegs over the line and puts them in the board, these can be considered as 'dead pegs?' at least in my book. In any way, they probably should have specified these rules better before starting. But I also read there was maybe something wrong with the board on that side, and that Aneesa was also struggling with this. Rachel R. at least said Derrick was killing it. Typical Derrick move however to put himself in trouble haha.

I don't think production WANTED Derrick to win over Horacio. I mean, Horacio is like the new Challenge prodigy right? I just don't understand some people complaining about how unfair it was, and then questioning how production could have Horacio lose, since he is this new Challenge God. Like that WOULD be fair?! Come on, if he is this good as a lot of people say, why let this elimination get so close against a 41 year old veteran? I don't quite see this. Aside from the fact Horacio is clearly a good athlete, the guy was boring as hell this season. I think his only confessionals were "I am so happy with Nurys", "I really miss Nurys now" and "our team really needs to win this". You need more than a good athlete to be great for TV, even on the Challenge in my book.

Anyway, Derrick ROCKS, all the haters can******* and lick some Horacio poster or whatever. GO DERRICK

Hi Derrick

Derrick knows how to type?
