Okay so the pegs being in the hole and falling out still counted. But in the clip, they said they both didn't hear that rule. Did they say in the podcast why was production still picking up Derricks pegs and not Horacio's, making Horacio run and take time to replace his? Or why they let Derrick keep playing while Horacio's ball was stuck? Or why they still announced Horacio as the winner and what happened in order to change that decision?
I don't really have a side I'm on in this controversy. To me, it seems like they both kinda got screwed over and production flopped as usual. I just wanna know what's up with the what's up

But what about the refs helping Aneesa and Derrick put their pegs back on the wall but not Horacio and Jenny who had to do it on their own?
The quitting talk was always insane. You have this golden opportunity, and throwing it away would've been so ridiculous. Literally a guaranteed $50k-$90k paycheck once a year to show up for a few weeks to do dormlife and do silly daily challenges. If he quit, the influencer money would've dried up in a couple years.
He finally learned to shut the **** up and accept that getting into the rotation for a show like this is literally a dream.
And he made Nurys looks like a fool. IMO, she hurt her relationship with producers even more than he did. And that's 1000% his fault.

The fact that producers reached out to them with the actual footage means one or multiple of three things:
1.) The backlash was too strong and they needed Horacio to issue a retraction.
2.) They love Horacio and were heartbroken over his comments and want him on the show.
3.) They love Nurys and they want her to return.
I think one and three are 1000% true. If the producers were petty, they'd have him issue the retraction and revoke any invite for 41 and beyond lol. But I think his attachment to Nurys is going to save him.
all this mess over a guy who comes on the main show every 7 years lol.... if anything they should have just given it to horacio because him and nurys have lots of years left to build with this show for the future but I guess they didnt want era 1 to get decimated. But even with derrick following the rules other stuff was still fishy like horacio said

nothing they said changes anything, pegs in the wall count (they didn't factor in pegs coming out of the wall). Then saying they did the math about Horacio's ball getting stuck and having to put his pegs in; ignoring how that changes all activities going forward. Saying Horacio lost by a second when he was leisurely putting in his last peg says differently.
