mtv was doing the no cable option 24 hr pass for at least 10 years. I put so many onto that over the years, and just like the people I know who got rid of cable, the people who used the 24 hr pass will likely just lose interest in the show altogether. Better to make money from ads than lose the viewership

If the show is on MTV the ad is a set price for the time slot. Has nothing to do with views.
