The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras - The Era Invitational: Part 2

Episode: 2

The Challengers arrive to the Arena to see classic, brutal eliminations from each era awaiting them; 16 people will fight in the sand, only 8 will return. The losers learn they will be sent off with a parting gift of karma for the remaining players.

Just here to continue bítcħìng about this being multiple threads instead of one continous.

Hope we get some great eliminations! I fear most of them are gonna be steamrolls...

i agree tbh. the all stars 4 episode thread was a better format

I prefer it this way, I always get behind on episodes and having to go thru pages to find where you left off can be tedious.

Paulie doing the most

Does Cara and Paulie not remember the last time they played together they targeted Laurel/Bananas and would have thrown them in every time if they kept winning like they did Jordan and Theo?? Why are they supposed to just be cool with her all of a sudden lol

They even removed the live feature on the mtv website so i can't even make a throwaway email to watch the newest episode when it airs anymore Sad

Always striving to be the best version of yourself

MTV used to let you watch live even if you didn't have cable using their website?   I thought you always had to pick a provider and log in?

There was an option for no provider

Lol not on here. This is the one place I let me (playfully and jokingly) messy side out.

They used to give u 24 hour live access if you sign up with a new email for free. That's how i watched this shit every week and the video music awards...besides that mtv doesn't deserve a damn thing!

They make it so difficult to watch this show it's crazy. Only logical reasoning is they desperately want the views on MTV so bad which is sad lol

To be fair, it makes sense they stopped that since people were taking advantage of it

I do agree there's nothing else to watch though

Stop saying any of the shit MTV is doing in regards to making this show so difficult to watch Live, even for the .5% of hardcore fans on vevmo, makes sense. None of it makes sense! At the very least at least they were still getting ad revenue when people watched on THEIR website with fake emails.

Anything short of people adding cable and that including MTV doesn't help MTV.

Why would they care if you watch without paying for it?   I doubt their current ad revenue is altered by viewership...especially online.  May hurt with future prices but not comprehending why MTV is doing this is illogical.

You do realize that in 2024, revenue streams for a cable network is not just cable subscriptions?

They don't even show the newest challenge episode again once it airs on tv from what i've seen on their schedule nowhere in the week but have a million ridiculousness reruns lol

Explain how MTV is benefitting for people signing up for an account using a fake email then canceling before they're charged?

See this a valid complaint and absolutely idiotic by MTV but preventing people from watching for free...not so much

Explain what they gain from not making it possible to watch at all?

If these******* want me to pirate, I'll put on a  blue and red wig and call myself Cara Maria

Ad revenue. Which I assume like everything else is based on views. But streaming it the next day would make more sense.

Explain what they gain from not making it possible to watch at all?

All the KVMs over at MTV headquarters think you about to call Direct TV.

It's possible to watch by having MTV
