She agrees with Tori that Cara likes to play on the side of getting attacked so she can take a shot at somebody from how she chose to have those convos with Rachel but not with her and Brandon. She said Cara plays victim that needs two villains, and said if she wants her to be a villain she'll be one (it's telling how Tori and Aneesa feel so validated on how they feel about Cara lol).
Meanwhile most of them have been trying to get Cara out from the jump, and apparently Laurel was trying to get people against Cara day one or whatever, so Cara ain't exactly wrong.
I do agree Cara should have communicated with Brandon and Jasmine, but she did clearly think they would all have one another's back out of show history (she literally protects Jasmine from the first elimination and mentions their "history"). I remember when she and Zach worked together on Vendettas or maybe a different season, she said it was "unspoken" that they'd never say each other's names. So, yeah, she seems to just assume things but really she needs to communicate.
I listened to this podcast a day or two ago, and it was the most I've ever liked Tori because she loves Jasmine and got excited every time she said something spicy. Jasmine is so impactful that she brought out the best in Tori Deal of all people! LEGEND!!!!
I wish we got to see more of her! She was just getting started! She still managed to be one of the people to bring the most to the table while only being on for half the season, though <3
Seeing the Era 3 cast for Battle of the Eras is very triggering as a Jasmine fan. I would've taken her over ANY of those 5 girls (although I still think Amanda and Averey are good picks (Averey didn't do much on All Stars 4 but I like her and it's only her second season back)). I've always felt like the black contestants are expected to be entertaining, so they have to work 10x harder just to get to where the white contestants get to by putting 10% of the work in. Imagine working your butt off season after season to provide good TV for us only for some dumb girl named Tori Deal to get picked over you when she's never been more than a background character on a season????????????
If I was in production, I would always be so paranoid about editing the season because I'd be scared of putting out a show with NOTHING happening... and yet Jasmine doesn't get picked to be on 40 despite providing endless entertainment CONSTANTLY???????????? Tori Deal gets picked over her despite doing seasons 35-38 (a span of FOUR seasons) and having NOTHINGGGGGGGGGGG to show for it??????????????????????? Justice for Jasmine! I won't forget this!
Jasmine wasn't gonna contribute a damn thing except getting on my nerves until she inevitably got eliminated.

The enitre season revolved around Laurel/Cara/Nicole along with Kam/Leroy...as dumb as that is. Even Ayanna being annoying was about Kam & Leroy. Jasmine, like many others, was just there. The most memorable things with Jasmine were Veronica convincing Nicole to take out Jasmine (which is about Veronica) and Cara giving her a star out of spite.
