Y'all gotta stop living in the past. It makes more sense for a network to cast modern tv stars that are still on tv over niche hasberns from 13 years ago. Yall also need to expand your rtv viewership. There's a lot more out there than cbs, mtv, and vh1 has beens.
Exactly. I get having the OGs/legends but if I'm CBS or whatever network I'm pushing to cast CURRENT stars of my shows. Sorry no one is tuning into Traitors to watch Maggie and Jun from BB and Lil from Survivor.

That's a terribel take. Nostalgia sells. Literally everyone turned into The Traitors to see old school legends like Parvati, Dan, Sandra or Trishelle and a lot of people also saw that Villains show with New York, Omarosa and Bananas. Literally no one is seeing thet Amazon show with friking Wendell, Davonne or Joey Sasso or a Challenge season cause they have Michele Fitzgerald and Ed from The Circle.
Proven legends are a claim to a show, An iconic old school person is 100% more efective than a random current name for the last season of Love Island. A good balanced cast has a little bit of everything.
Yeah there's a reason there was so much hype at the cast reveal last time. The names were huge. Tony's obviously a modern legend in Survivor and Britney's amazing but 2 names just isn't enough to get me hype

Except that was their strategy last season and it was successful. Traitors 2 was critically acclaimed and universally loved. Why would they cast from modern shows when the ratings are bad and no one cares about them. Everyone complains about the modern day reality stars who are worried about their followers opinions. Bad take Tim.
Dont EVER call me Tim. That is not my name. It's TIMSTER
To Timster's point I get what you're saying but I think casting old school legends that are still relevant is the ticket. People like Cirie, Phaedra, CT, Parvati, Janelle, Sandra, etc are exciting old school legends that have also done recent shows prior to going on The Traitors. Best of both worlds, whether a fan's an old school or new school fan they're aware of the person.
I wonder if they paid Punky not to spoil it for them. It would be embarrassing though to have some big cast reveal just to give us the mediocre names speculated.

Im not saying legends like S2 shouldn't be on they def should but I've seen people not just here saying it should be only OGs/legends from reality tv invited and I think it should be both. I'm happy to see Carolyn and Tony and much rather see Taylor H, Felicia, Michele, Tiffany and other newer people than Maggie, Jun, (idk old Suvivor) etc
Well if you wanna see Michele and Tiffany who have both been on multiple shows recently over legends who have been away for yeards then I don't know what to tell you. You have bad taste.

Jeff Probst said he'd like to see Jerri or John Cochran on the traitors someday.
Jeff can şțfú. He already ruined one show trying to recreate each season with 18 Cochrans so he shouldn't be giving opinions. Cochran is hands down the worst person to ever appear on Survivor or reality tv in general.
I intepret sharons tweet to mean that the new way to reveal the cast is them recording the cast members being told theyre on and releasing those clips. Which for me is anticlimatic but maybe would be exciting for others?
I'd love to see LC and Kristen on this together. I think they'd do it, too, as they've actually always been friendly to some degree.
What about Stephen and Irene from Real World? Where are they these days? Interesting reunion potentional there.
I listened to the Laguna Beach rewatch with Kristin and Stephen. They both said they'd do another show if it was the right fit, mainly just not a reality drama. Kristin is in good with NBC. I think they'd do it. Not sure about Lauren, she seems like she moved on.
Irene and Stephen both were willing to do a Real World Homecoming but I think that's too much controversy for this.

idk if y'all know the tea but Sharon got fired from that media site she used to work for a little over a year ago. She's independent now and uses her name to get interviews and inside scoops. Nobody has caught on that she's no longer affiliated so that's how she's still getting tea. Once they realize that she's now a nobody podcaster she won't have early information access. Use that information as you will.
Kristen is a publicity QUEEN she's very smart about what she choices to do...i could see her doing this though because of how much notoriety and acclaim the show has had. LC is no chance...lets try and get Lo though

Lo was always my favorite, she'd have funny commentary. Side note, on my rewatch LC was always the villain.

Taylor Hale is a good modern BB pick.
I'd agree with that.
Honestly someone from vevmo or reddit would prolly bring in more views than the flops they were thinking of casting....

Also Sharon Tharp hinted on Twitter that official cast reveal will be Wednesday

Jerri would be great for this.
Agreed with Colby.
Yeah Jerri was one of the ones I was hoping for. As far as Cochran goes he can stick to getting blown by Probst until like season 25
Nah, keep Colby home.
Jerri... you're always welcome.
