Yes. All they had to do was call it "World of Rivals" and it sounds like a spinoff to World Championship. We'd still be annoyed by the repetitive terrible casting but it wouldn't be a gut punch "f you" to the people who fought for this spinoff to happen.
Aneesa would be interesting with her old school friends and acquaintances present. But she is just part of the entire flagship crew that somehow got on this season - so it'll be less interesting. It'd be fun to see her have to pick sides.

It would make sense to differentiate this from all stars in any way (whether second chances or whatever stupid name), which has majorily been comprised of people who took a break from the flagship or are from OG days, as well as from the flagship (because how is this not different than the flagship?!) . Everyone on this cast has been in the past few seasons. Unless some crazy names are added, I dont know how this cast sets itself apart from season 41 when that is cast.

My family went away camping every summer but I would plan ways to be home every week to catch the new episode. Watching a show for 24 years is no joke. I literally grew up with it. Yah, make jokes about how its not that serious and I am dramatic, blah blah, but everyone has interests that they are passionate about and this show has always been mine. And Id argue everyone here has that passion too, because lets be real...we are on a forum talking about a reality show. Lol.
But to sum up my soliloquy, it appears my love for the show has its boundaries and this all stars bait and switch may finally be the straw that broke the camels back.

I'm with you boo^ I've been watching for most of my life since the gauntlet 1 and it's kinda sad that I already stopped watching and they already lost me. The franchise is sinking and dying a slow and painful death; I don't blame any of us for jumping ship.
I've been watching The Challenge since Sexes 1, but this really might be where I call it quits. This is a complete slap in the face to the cast members and fans who made this show successful.

Same... i watched every season in real time from season 1. I skipped the last few of Total Madness after the Dee editing. Tried Double Agents but got bored...and then watched clips of rest. Haven't started 39.
As long as Josh stays away from ***....ill give it a chance. I do love Nany and enjoy Melissa. CT is always fun to watch.
